We match up Tumblr users with other users who have similar interests so that they can have a friend to write cute snail mail letters or fun emails to! To get a PenPair, fill out our form and we'll message you as soon as possible with the address of your new friend!

I think I've done all the requirements to receive pen-pairs. Did I miss something or is it just the fact that there isn't anyone out there to match me?

My penpair's adress and first name were submitted to me, but not her last name. How can I send her a letter without her last name?

You do not need their last name. Just write the letter and address it to their first name.

It's been almost two weeks since I submitted and I still haven't gotten a match?!? Should I re apply?

Please do not reapply, as it will mess up our records! Reapplying will not put you in higher priority. We have your application but we're really understaffed. I promise we're working as hard as we can!

the submit thing will only work if you go to the submission page instead of using the widget on the blog's homepage. it's because the form is too long for the widget.

When do you think I will get my pair? It's been three days? 😥

It may take longer than others to find you the perfect pair and we are working through over 100 applications and some of us also attend college so we're sorry for the wait but you will be paired shortly.

Are we obliged to say our street address and zip code for the application or just an email address can be okay ?

If you only wish to stay in contact with your PenPair through email then you do not have to fill out your address.

I still haven't received my pen pair and I applied 24 hours ago should I apply again?

It may take longer for some than for others as we all work hard to find the perfect pair for you that matches your interests and fandoms etc. You won't  have to wait much longer. We also have very busy schedules ourselves out of Tumblr and so we only get certain times to do this but I can guarantee that we are working really hard right now to create matches.

We don't send you the URL of your PenPair! Whether or not you share that with them once you're in contact is up to you!
