rest and disappear between the seams
06.09.16 ⢠reminiscing the messy weekly spread I had in my bullet journal before uni classes started up again + completing new tasks in the current week!

You wanted happiness, I canāt blame you for that, and maybe a mouth sounds idiotic when it blathers on about joy Ā Ā but tell me you love this, tell me youāre not miserable.

[3rd September 2010] Day 5/100 days of productivity Currently 10:30pm (estimate) and iāve been constantly doing math revision, earlier today i also did criteria A for my ict design folder and it was roughly 1.6K words which isnāt too bad. Iām gonna work vvvv hard for this maths test because math is one of my weak subjects now, so i have to work hard to get a good score on my summative this Tuesday.
9/7 - Still studying Criminal Law. Itās raining so hard right now. Makes me wanna stay home.
Preparing for my macroeconomics midsem!
Itās only been 2 months but thank you to all 5k of you who have followed me & supported me āØāš

A Photographer Captures Oxford University in the 1970s.Ā On the campus of Oxford University between 1968 and 1978, the photographer Paddy Summerfield captured students at leisure. His images, published in the new book āThe Oxford Pictures,ā speak of isolation and loneliness, youthful awkwardness and uncertainty.Ā

April 4th {6/100}
Day 6 of my 100 days of productivity! So today I finally managed to get to one of the most dreaded tasks I have for spring break⦠READING. I should have finished The Great Gatsby weeks ago, but procrastinated to a whole new level and left it until now. Donāt be fooled by the headphones in this pic, hinting towards me reading whilst listening to music, I assure you I donāt. Not that listening to music while reading is a bad thing! Some people actually find it helpful in being able to concentrate better. But for me, it just further distracts me and overall doesnāt help. What Iām actually getting at is what I am listening to. I always listen to the audiobooks for anything Iām reading (if they are available) or have my computer read stuff out to me. I listen to the book and read at the same time. For anyone with dyslexia, or just anyone who finds it particularly difficult to read, I would 100% advise you to do this.Ā
Iām working on a post right now that summarises how to get your computer to read stuff out loud to you, because I FEEL YOU, I REALLY DO. I know how frustrating it can get, and found it so incredibly helpful myself.Ā

I actually didnāt notice my alarm going off so I woke up super late and missed two potentially productive hours :(( but I still managed to get a nice&bright spot at my fav library thanks to my lovely friendsāØāØ
four days until my finals. almost done!!!! (in the picture: my statistics study guide, ipad¬es, lovely matching pens and lemon water which is super good and refreshing!!!)
this morning was so dreamy! I love getting up before everyone else is awake and the town is still silent :ā)Ā
Okay, some people like studying with music, others donāt. I can only study with music that has no particular melody so I donāt start singingā¦Ā Here are some playlists in all kinds of genres, so hopefully there is something for everyone. Also, feel free to add your own!
Backporch Blues I think this is a sleeping playlist officially, so donāt doze off!
Calm and Focussed I like this playlist of classical music, except it has the frickin AmƩlie theme again. Contains Vivaldi but also contemporary music
Calm Before the Storm Soft rock-ish instrumental music (not all rock tho)
Code Mode Electronic. No lyrics. Ever.
Deep Focus I love this one for late night studying
Digster Sleep Pop music to help you sleep focus
Focus: Classical & Electronic If you canāt choose between the two I guess
Focus Modus Instrumental, cheerful R&B/Indie/Rock? music
Focus Now For your daily dose of classical music (no soundtracks etc)
Focus on the Mix Remixes mostly of pop music
Focus - Video Game Music Like the name says, some epic game music
In Deepest Blue Actually an album but most tracks work great for studying
Indie Rock Brain Boost Mostly popular Indie music
Instrumental Study Ambient, instrumental music. Sometimes nature noises
Jazz - Classical Crossings Jazz musicians performing classical works (also great if youāre not studying tbh)
Late Night Focus Some more electronic music
Minimal Music Mostly contemporary classical music. I skipped AmƩlie honestly that song is everywhere.
Mozart 50: Spotify Picks If you feel like trying out that Mozart Effect
Musik Produkt Electro-chill. I like this one, but itās not as long as the others.
Productive Morning Not too loud to get a headache, not to quiet to fall back asleep.
Soundtrack for Study Just what the name says, but it does not feature many main themes so youāre less likely to recognise them and get distracted!
Studeren Classical music, similar to Calm and Focussed. Also has the AmƩlie theme *cries*
Studying Music Quiet focus music, downside is that the tracks are very short
Study Vibes Electronic study music, does have vocals sometimes.
The Focus Lounge House music. Most tracks are pretty repetitive so not very distracting
To Do List Electronic focus music, this is honestly my favourite ever.
White Noise Just as the name says, white noise for focus.
