Here’s the second week of updates, today is my last day of work for this week, as I’ll not be able to work on much until Monday.

Part of me feels the head turn is a little awkward in the chin, but it’s got the smoothness I wanted to go for. I personally like how the sign looks, as I’m going for a  mix of hand drawing and photorealistic for my backgrounds

This is just a personal project I’m working on into the beginning of the summer. Each week, I plan to post a progress update, showing where I am at each stage of production. Right now, I am at the animatic stage.

You could also call this the debut of my new YouTube channel. I was reluctant to start over, but I feel this is good. I have a lot planned for the summer and future, so stay tuned.

Some thoughts

I’ve been contemplating how I want my name to be attached to my work. I’ve been limiting myself to certain things, reluctant to do the things I actually enjoy, and would find entertaining, under the assumption it would be “inappropriate”. I know other share my sense of humor, but trying to censor it makes it “cringe af”, and I hate that. Basically, what I’m saying is embarrassing, but many of my accounts are monitored heavily by my family. My mother especially. I know she want best for my safety, but it sucks having to limit myself and what I find funny. Those are just my thoughts right now, being young. They're probably temporary and I’ll look back on this and have a fit. Right now, I’m just not having fun.

Really, I just want to make some drawings and have fun. I know what I want to do, and how I’ll do it.

Update! So I've finally finished my character for the first scene, now I've got to do the other. However, I didn't like how wobbly the lines were. I got some help, and did this, a pretty basic character design. It'll change as I streamline the design, but basically I needed some structure for my character. It was rather easy getting the details, then exaggerating them. I notice I have short legs, very round head etc. All of that coming from what I see in the mirror.

If you have suggestions, I'm open to feedback

Hope you stayed tuned Heres the background for the first scene, @mrcoolant and I are in the process of voice acting, in which the scenes will be animated in sequence. This first scene will be done, in entirety, in a process of animatic, background, animation, next scene.

An update? Yes.

So I'm going to try actually blogging for once, which I should do more often. I'm not really sure hiw many will see this, because I've only ever reblogged things, not to mention how inactive I've been in general, due to school and other occurrences. For the past, at least six months, Ive been putting out animations with the open source program, Synfig. It's really good, really powerful but its been getting slow on my old, outdated computer. Recently, I got into Flash MX, which works amazing on my poorfig teir 2004 office computer. Over that time, I've been arbitrarily been excreting wierd videos out of context. There's no motive and its almost meaningless. This is not what I want. So now, I'm going to carefully document, each step of the way when I make a video, and whatever slowdowns... Slow me down. That way there's context, and I can explain what I'm doing. I like doing that, and its kind of cool because I'm starting from the bottom. This was my sort of stream if consciousness rant thing, the next post itps where I'll get down to business. Stay tuned!
