Snk 103 - Thoughts
It vaguely reminds me of that scene where Eren tried to take a spoonful of tea and accidentally turned into a partial titan because it was necessary to do so.
In Reiner’s case, he just wanted to protect Falco and so his transformation was not complete, but he did what was necessary. And consider that he could have died with the Eren explosion.
I feel like Falco was a version of Armin outside the walls.
And maybe it’s his training as a soldier that allows him to keep the calamity in a chaotic situation.
Well, it’s pretty much confirmed later, but if Eren could not break those crystals, then he would not have been able to do the same with Annie.
But I thought they had blocked all the streets, in addition to being very convenient Gabi arrive right here.
Besides, it seems Captain Margath is tougher than he looks.
Is it my impression or did Armin look a bit like Uri?
Obviously Zeke would not be killed so easily, even though the scene seems quite tense and shocking enough for Pieck, Gabi, Falco, and Margath.
I like Levi’s surprised face, obviously not expecting to find children in a place like that.
In fact, I do not like much how Levi seems constantly harassed compared to the other characters who have similar problems to his, so I like when he gets surprised or something.
I like how even Sasha is overshadowed by Eren, Mikasa, Armin and Levi, she can still be useful in her own way.
Yes, the other SC are also contributing to attack Pieck, but it is thanks to her that they have managed to gain a breakthrough to attack Pieck.
Pieck was an enemy from the point of view of SC, but it is difficult not to feel an evil for her. She had the same brainwashing as RBA and is just doing that she thinks is right.
Besides that because of Eren’s repulsive attack and due to other miscalculations, she does not have time to sue that Marley is the real enemy.
What makes it all more tragic is that SC should not even be there, they are only there because Eren rushed things and no one paid attention to the prison of Porko and Pieck.
Of course, the conflict might happen anyway, but nonetheless. We hardly knew about Pieck’s squadron, but they were also brutal
Well, Pieck may not be able to process the situation considering her statute, but Pieck still tries to find a way to understand the situation.
He obviously does not totally approve Marley and all this conflict. Can he be very innocent? Perhaps, but it is true that this whole conflict is unnecessary. At least he wants to understand Walldiah.
Snk 102 - Thoughts
Jean does not seem to change much, but he still has the same mentality as before. He knows that pragmatsimo is necessary, but he knows he owes some limit.
Unlike Eren, it seems that his thoughts are basically an open book.
And Floch … I’m not sure if he’s changed, because he always seems very cynical and a bit exaggerated, almost as much as Levi.
And I do not think it’s time for them to discuss it. An hour to everything, but it seems that Isayama wanted to show soon the SC mentality with respect to Eren.
This is one of the moments of the strongest and most remarkable chapter for me. Eren has reached a point that even Mikasa seems to disagree with him.
It is interesting how most people think how she has always been obsessed with Eren and without worrying about others.
But while she was willing to kill the enemies who could really fight and threaten her life, killing innocent civilians and even children is not something she can accept.
Well, surely Lady Tybur would not die with a blow.
And at that moment, Gabi comes close to the main area of the conflict. I like how a Marley guard seems to give the least torque to Gabi even though she is an Eldiah.
But being a minor character, of course he dies soon after.
I really like the look of Sasha. She was ready to kill, but she did not expect a child. For me, she’s one of the most human characters in the show and that’s why I like him.
Also, I like the emotions in Gabi’s gaze, as if she were close to facing her own death, not knowing that Sasha is merciful.
I preferred the old hairstyle, because now it looks very modern for me.
Well, Connie’s grown up a little. I knew there would be some balloon or zeppelin involved. In fact, many people have theorized this scene correctly.
And unfortunately, Gabi still does not leave the warrior way.
I’ve never expected so much strategy in a few pages. Although, it seems they are taking turns. One attacks, then another disrupts.
I can not wait for this in the anime.
It’s the first time we actually see Pieck while she’s inside the titan. Her squad is really fast.
I would like to show this to anyone who does not even know the context of the series.
It would be better for Lady Tybur to have attacked Eren in the head, but maybe she does not have that much control.
Well, that’s very convenient for him to have appeared now.
Well, that certainly is a bad omen.
Snk 101 - Thoughts
Careful, there might be spoilers of 101-106.
At the time, I thought that while Eren would do something like this, I hoped he would not completely recreate the grim reminder. He also took the trouble to jump right over the Marley military instead of stepping on civilians, but he nevertheless put civilians at risk.
This is stranger after Will’s speech, it’s almost as if Eren wanted everyone to consider him the greatest enemy of mankind.
Even though Gabi has military training, she obviously was not prepared to deal with it. In addition to the fact that in “trainings,” Zofia apparently did not even hurt herself now was brutally murdered.
And frankly I’m not surprised, because besides Udo, we never see her meet their family when they went to Liberio.
I do not know which is the right word, but I like how detailed this whole scene is, showing the chaotic situation and how traumatic for Gabi.
And note that she was never in the position where people were attacked. She has always helped Marley in the attacks, but she’s literally unprepared for it. She is literally seeing the sympathetic Eldiah as she being massacred by the person she sees as a demon.
This marks the first time Porco sees 3DGM. This marks the first time Pig sees 3DGM.
I was not expecting you to be that silent servant if the real harmer titan. It is interesting how she appears next to the guard that everyone thought was the hammer titan.
I thought the titan hammer would be bigger and more robust, but it pays off in agility.
Some of the best scenes in this chapter, I can not wait for this in the anime, although it will take a long time.
I hoped Mikasa would appear in disguise, in a similar way as Kyomi, but now we know that SC were not planning this together with Eren.
Mikasa still looks good, but I prefer it when her hair is longer.
Snk 100 - Thoughts
Notice, there may be spoiler mentions up to 106. Consider this a re-spective.
Some things to say about Sasha Braus.
I’m a bit bitter at having seen a user laugh at the fact that Sasha’s last word was flesh and treated him as if she was just a joke character. This same people consistently spoke of the gray morality of the warriors, but mocks the death of Sasha.
Yes, a lot moments she said about food were jokes, but deep down it is not. She became obsessed with food for starving herself during her childhood due to the fall of the Maria Wall. She became a soldier to help people not starve.
One of the last pages even recalled this:
I also feel that Sasha’s friendship with Mikasa and Armin has grown much more in the last four years than in the three years of training.
Even Hanji is sad about it. It is obvious that this chapter was to show a consequence of what Eren caused by being impulsive and forcing SC to act. Sasha had not had to be there.
I had put some thought of Gabi not going to kill Sasha at the last minute because that was too predictable with everyone betting that Gabi would do it. But unfortunately that was the case.
Sasha is one of my favorite characters, but I still do not hate Gabi. I understand that she went through a brainwash and was acting desperate due to the chaotic situation.
I also want to remember that there were other sevens soldiers and several innocent civilians killed because of Eren’s “pragmatism,” but Sasha serves as a symbol for all of this tragedy.
I hope she does not quickly forget forgotten in the next chapter.
I WILL BE CENSORED AFTER DEC 14TH
Good, I’ve got your attention. I’ve heard about this net neutrality bullshit returning. I fought it when it started popping up a few years ago, and I’m going to fight it again. Guys, it’s BACK AGAIN and even worse theres a big chance it will END UP PASSING!
https://www.battleforthenet.com/#bftn-action-form
This could literally mean a shit ton of you wont be able to see me anymore if your provider decides that they want to regulate/censor, sayyy overly sexual content. You’ll also have to pay extra money to even use Tumblr!
https://www.battleforthenet.com/#bftn-action-form
Please guys, we defeated this shit once, we can do it again. They’re trying to do it now while people are distracted by the holidays and fucking Justice League. As of today, it seems as though there have only been 266,810 calls made to Congress. This is NOT good enough!! MILLIONS of people use the net, and if each one of them took 60 seconds to call and protect it, holy balls do you KNOW how much of a difference that would make??? But noooo, you’re busy streaming an ecchi anime that wont be available to you soon!!!!!
Heres a direct link to make a difference (theres also links to other sites of the same nature on here), and yes, YOU can make a fucking difference because this is YOUR internet at stake here. If you’re not going to make the call, share this and maybe SOMEONE fucking will!! This is important as shit and we cant afford to lose. Dec 14th is the deadline.
https://www.battleforthenet.com/#bftn-action-form
I know this doesn’t sound important but….
The reason they started this again is because… the timing.
Coincidence? I think NOT.
Everyone is so obsessed with something else, The FCC are manipulating us.
I seriously don’t want to give up Tumblr and YouTube all together because of this crap..
:’(
They’re deleting it every 20 hours too, don’t stop rebloging this!
Yeah, everyone should be worried about this, without net neutrality, freelance artist will suffer and lose their jobs, long distance relationships will suffer. online job applications will be a nightmare. It’s not good.
But if I do not live in the united states, how can I help?
Lady Hayakawa deserves better
I have not even played SoS since I have many games to play yet and I am afraid in experiencing new things.
But I searched for some videos and it still angers me as the Hojo clan are treated.
There are literally several characters who basically risked their lives (and some died) in the name of their own ideals like:
Nagamasa, Oichi, Katsuie, Mitsuhide, Mitsunari, Yukimura and Chacha. They died for righteousness to honor.
But can Omega be so cluttered Hojo’s theme about protecting the family and respecting their own people as such?
Ujimasa is just an NPC who wants to be stubborn, does not even elaborate why he hates the Toyotomi clan and maintains the same integrity as his father when he gives up.
Kai did not learn anything! Her “punishment” for being stubborn in defending the Hojo at all costs is to make friends in Osaka, then threaten the peace of the country just because she loves her new friends! And she completely remembers Hayakawa who always respected her and never judged her.
The moral is: “You are an idiot to risk your life for the Hojo, but okay if it is for the Toyotomi clan”? If the Hojo were left alone, they would not hurt anyone, now Toyotomi could invade the rest of Asia and the world.
Fuuma used to be someone who brought chaos, even controlling Ieyasu in SW2 and could have manipulated things, but he is only treated as a scary guy.
And then we have Hayakawa.
She is one of the most peaceful and kind characters in the game. Her full potential as a warrior revolves around protecting her family and the people of Kanto. She would be an ally who could support everyone without discriminating against anyone.
But she is not even respected or worthy of her enemies’ pity, she is treated just like a stupid fool for supporting her own brother who is the leader of the clan. How dare she defend the soldiers of her own clan?
But no, it seems that it is people like Yukimura and Chacha who threaten peace at the end of the game because of their own ideals is who should be glorified as worthy of pity.
Do not get me wrong, this is not a matter of hating Chacha and Yukimura, but it is to admit that their stubborn behavior is not much different from Ujimasa because they have still put the lives of innocent people at risk by their own ideals.
The only difference is that Ujimasa does not have a well-developed and developed motivation to “justify” his stubbornness.
And in the end, it’s people like Hayakawa and Nobuyuki who leave emotionally injured. I have already said in another post that gentle characters do not get enough love.
And to finish: Can anyone tell me the special dialogue of Masayuki / Yukimura / Nobuyuki with Hayakawa in the Siege of Odawara?
Just know that Sasuke and Chacha are condescending to her because they are the type who do not care for tragic friendly characters because they are the bitter kind with tragic past.
Not wanting to be rude, but I just wanted to express my opinion.
My problem with favoritism
First, I wanted to say that I’m posting this in multiple tags because it might be to apply to fiction in general.
I wish Samurai Warriors were a book or an anime where people could discuss about the depth of the story and the characters in general.
The gaming community in general are many closed minds to see to be certain interesting issues that can be discussed.
As in Spirit of Sanada, we have the Toyotomi clan with over 300,000 soles against just over 20,000 of the Hojo clan. All because Ujimasa does not want to surrender.
And what does the Toyotomi clan do? Resolves to kill innocent men, women and children to intimidate the Hojo and force them to surrender. I always see people talking that they had no choices …
Well, they could continue to use these soldiers to die to fight against other soldiers willing to die. It is not a particularly difficult situation to think about!
And yet this also applies to other manga like Attack on Titan, where the characters resort to torture because “we’re desperate,” but in the end that scene did not add up at all.
Do not get me wrong, I’m not saying that things have to be black and white or that the characters may not be morally gray, but I want it to be recognized by the fandom.
It is also hypocritical to forgive or see the good side of pragmatic characters (Levi), so ignore characters who have been good most of the time (Armin, Historia and Sasha, let some people forget that she killed someone in self-defense and lost the hunger for it).
I do not know where Reiner fits because while he is pragmatic there are several characters who hates him, he acknowledges that he did horrible things and the fandom treats him as such, but I no one be like “my precious baby is perfect and should not be criticized because he had a difficult past.”
And returning to Samurai Warriors, some people still had the courage to defend themselves that the Hojo are not holy because Ujiyasu threatened to kill deserters.
I had not even said that the Hojo were innocent, but that Toyotomi was exceedingly cruel. Even in the Siege of Odawara in SW4, Takakage admitted that that whole battle was to show Hideyoshi’s power over the country. Not a necessary evil that they are forced to do.
Please, it is not me who am saying that my favorites do nothing wrong, but it is obvious that Toyotomi does more because they … Well, they appear longer.
But in the context, Ujiyasu was already dead, Ujimasa was only a poorly developed NPC, Kai was forced to go to Osaka only to make friends while forgetting Hayakawa, who wanted to surrender from the beginning, receives nothing but to have stayed in Kanto doing something that was not clear.
And Nobuyki wore the same clothes since the adolescent.
Sorry for rambling or if my point is not clear, but I’m just tired of seeing people with simple mentality of black and white, but ignores favorened those who are more "dark” at the expense of the most good and resilient.
Not wanting to be rude, but it’s just my opinion.
Things that disconcerts me...
Character 1: It’s a jerk to everyone because it had a tragic past that does not really excuse the negative actions it does against the other characters, especially if they are good. And the only reason the other characters want him around is because he’s experienced enough to be of some help, but in other circumstances, he would never be friends with the other characters.
Fandom (or some people): My precious baby needs to be protected at all costs, should be exempt from all responsibility even when mistreating the other tragic characters that I do not like. Deep down in his heart, he is a pure person because he showed some kindness and emotional attachment for five minutes!
Character 2: It’s kind to everyone, even if it has a tragic past. It’s always willing to help the other characters, but they rarely thank or return the favor (except if it is close to the main protagonist). Even though this character may be hiding the true feelings, yet he is not rude to others. Always try to help even if it are not the most experienced in the group. In normal circumstances, he would still be friends with everyone.
Fandom(same people): *Simply ignore or treat this character as weak*
I want not to be rude, but everyone has seen it before.
How to record game using PS4 with audio game?
First of all, I wanted to say that I want to record videos without microphones, party or anything like that.
Only one recording of video with the audio of the game. This works with the games I bought physically, but it never works out with the games I bought on PSN. For example, Digimon Next Order works, but not Samurai Warriors 4.
How do I fix this? Is it impossible to record games purchased on PSN with audio? Do I have to use a capture device?
I’m not interested in anything complicated like streaming, just wanted to record videos,so I do not think I need a very expensive and complicated capture device. Please ssomeone help me.
I really love Hayakawa, but I’m a bit disappointed as her story was a little rushed.
As “Legend of Kanto” in SW4 does not even show the Hojo clan defending and losing, but this is shown in the other characters’ point of view.
The death scene of Ujiyasu was supposed to be emotional for Hayakawa, but instead Ieyasu has a horrible timing and starts wanting to separate Hayakawa and Kai because “defeated must obey the winners”.
Then Kai turns around and renegotiates Hayakawa’s surrender as if it’s nothing too much and contradicts what Ieyasu ordered.
Then the scene is cut to Hideyoshi celebrating the unification. It’s not even a cutscene after Ujiyasu’s death, but the EVEN cutscene.
I understand it’s a war story and that almost everyone is just happy that they unified Japan, but could at least have a cutscene with Hayakawa actually reacting to the end of her clan?
Then we saw that Kai made friends with Kunoichi and Yukimura, so he decides to protect them as if it were a new family.
And there’s a bit with Hayakawa being comforted by Nobuyuki and Ina, but I feel like it was not enough.
Also I did not like Ujiyasu who used to think about the safety of his own family, wanted to risk fighting the whole country only to die dramatically in front of his daughter and this be treated as nothing too much.
I hope Hayakawa gets better at SW5.
Analyzing Lady Hayakawa
First impression I had only played SW 2 and SW 3, but since I really liked SW 2 Empire, I quickly bought the SW 4 Empire. So I lost a little her, but as soon as I played it, I was not too impressed by the basic attacks, though I liked her Musou. And I thought it was fun to see how she hit in enemies. And she looked so fragile, as if she were going to fall, that I wanted to hold her. That feeling decreased when I mastered her techniques.
Skills I admit that I’m not very good at evaluating the skills, but she seems to be decent. The basic attacks do not seem to make much impact enough, but her Musou is pretty good. Some may be bothered to have to use this for to be efficient, but as I like to be using Musou attacks frequently, this is no problem for me. I think that when she is with her father or Kai (when it is possible to switch), the weaknesses are compensated. She is calm, but is not afraid to say what she thinks when she needs to protect her family. Personality She is kind, friendly and courageous. Sometimes she shows a sign of fear and worry but is still brave most of the time, especially to protect her family. And this is evident when she challenges Honda Tadakatsu to defend her father. She is also very intelligent, as she is one of the few who realize that Hideyoshi is a tyrant, besides Ujiyasu, Kai and Fuuma. (Except for certain opportunistic and cowardly clans, which I will not cite because it is not my main point.) And on the “dark side”, I think it’s just her trying to deal with the battlefield. She can not have much empathy for the people who are trying to kill her, after all the others are without mercy against her. Appearance Her beauty seems to be quite natural. She does not really seem to try to be attractive like Kai, much less a “top model” like Naotora and Koshosho. I also like her hairstyle. The modest appearance coincides with the personality. Her clothes are pretty, but I’d rather it were red and black to match the clan theme. Therefore, I usually use the dlc “de Kai clothing”. It took me a while to realize, but if you look beneath the red bow and ribbon that covers her shoulders, you can see a vest that looks like the arm and leg guards. Development Like everyone else, she has tried to do what she can to protect her clan, but Hayakawa is far more relatable. She is not trying to prove to her clan that she is a strong and dignified warrior or anything about honor. She is fighting because she loves her family. She could be as Lady Muramatsu or play kemari, as Yoshimoto recommended to her. In fact, she admitted that she likes to fight and likes to prove that she is strong enough to protect her family. Although the other characters notice her in the dialogues, I do not like how she seems to be left out at the end of the game and appears only to face Kai who has a dubious loyalty to Toyotomi. It is true that there is not much to do. The Hojo clan is more defensive than attacking and helping allies throughout Japan. And when she stays with the Tokugawa Clans, there are only two more fights to take part in. Still, just look at the scene where Hayakawa talks to Kanetsugu before the Osaka and Takatora in Osaka Campaign and console them. Takatora does not even look at Hayakawa and then she says that Kanetsugu still has rightness because they are helping her, when in fact Kanetsugu did not even console her. But I think she can gives a different dynamic with the other characters because her personality does not seem to be as demanding as the others. Unfortunately she seems to be underestimated and almost all the other characters deserve to live in a time of war by not appreciating someone like Hayakawa. (Except the Hojo clan, which ironically includes Fuuma and maybe Nobuyuki.) In fact, Hayakawa should be more aggressive to give what others deserve. Rebuild the clan on her own, be “Hojo Masako 2.0” and exterminate the Tokugawa and Toyotomi. In fact, Ujiyasu could unify Japan if he tried. But this would no longer be the kind Hayakawa. Not that this prevents me from realizing the dream in SW 4 Empire, several times. At least, there she can ensure that her family is safe, even at the expense of others (after all, everyone is hypocritical in one way or another).
I expect more from her in SW 5.
Well, these are my thoughitas about Hayakawa. Next week I’ll be doing Ujiyasu or Kai.
