HIII! I'm really sorry for taking so long to answer, this last month i've been studying nonstop.
But finally i managed to get them done, i hope you like them!
Over all I think they would get along nicely. Maybe Andre would judge Dion at first because he dislikes jocks in general but after they get to meet eachother, they would have a great friendship.
To start, since Dion spends most of his time in the gym or the football field and Andre doesn´t, they would get to know eachother outside the academy. I wrote a small thing of how i imagine it:
It was saturday, Dion was walking home with a bag of groceries from the Yamyam market when he spotted someone spray-painting a wall in an alley. He stops, vaguely recognizing the guy as someone from the academy. Andre turned, his eyes landing on Dion´s letterman jacket (Since he has 0% rep with the jocks, he would be cautious).
Dion stepped closer and with a nervous tone complimented the graffiti and before Andre could reply, cops appeared in front of them. Andre bolted and Dion followed after him, almost tripping over a tuna can that fell from his bag. Spoiler, they got caught...
At the police station while they wait for their parents to come pick them up, Andre is absolutely calm while Dion on the other hand is shitting his pants. He quickly picks on this and curiously asks Dion a bunch of questions, since he doesn´t look threathening at all. They keep chatting until their parents arrive, getting along surprisingly well.
After that encounter, they wave and have small chats between classes and a few times hangout outisde of the academy.
-> Dion thinks Andre´s clothing style is really cool, like those skaters he sees in teen magazines. He even compares him to Tony Hawk in his head after seeing Andre do a few tricks (a little bit exaggerated...).
-> This would make Dion ask for fashion advice + skating classes. Andre would accept to help him exitedly, they would go to a thrift store after school where he´ll give Dion a tons of clothing items to try on. It´d be pretty fun for both!
-> Dion doesn´t suck at all in skating and is really proud of it. He can do basic tricks without falling but trying to imitate Andre´s advanced tricks will end up with him kissing the concrete.
-> Thinks Andre is very agile (after seeing him how fast he went when escaping the cops), so he would ask: "You've ever considered joining the school football team?" Dion will leave subtle invitations for Andre to participate in matches that he will never accept.
->Dion would be exited for Andre to teach him some portuguese! Andre would use this to tease him a little by making Dion say curse words. After laughing for long minutes, he´ll tell Dion the actual meaning of those words.
->In the boys dorm, Dion would be able to hear Andre's 80's/90's music (maybe even his singing lmao) through the thin paper walls. Since Dion has a bit of knowledge about old songs because of his mom, he'll ask Andre for recommendations.
-> In a random hangout they go out to walk Dion´s dog , only to end up chasing it around because Andre accidentally dropped the leash.
->Andre´s carefree personality would help Dion to open up to more experiences, have fun and get in trouble sometimes... Dion is happy to get out of his comfort zone from time to time and have someone he can open up to.
A little extra for the wait: Andre and Francis.
->That only time Andre left his skateboard unattended it got stolen by Francis. He was getting out of the fountain after getting pushed inside in a fight when he saw it and simply took it since the possible owner wasn´t anywhere to be seen.
->He shows Lefty, Christy and literally everyone his "new" skateboard. "If this guy *Andrew* cared about it, he wouldn't have left it alone! As they say, Finders keepers… loser’s walkin"
->Then, while Francis shows it around school, Andre will quickly recognize it as his lmao. After arguing for 2 minutes, he'll reluctantly give it back after Christy tells him to just leave it.
(Another art i made but i wasn´t satisfied with, thought i should leave it here anyway)
