Farewell || Poasis
Oasis heard the rapid heartbeat from the bottom of the stairs , and instantly he knew who it was. It was her , the same female who had so much emotion packed into one body that it was nearly ridiculous to the wolf. He leaned againts the railing of the balcony as he heard the beat approach his door and a light knock took place.
"Come in." He said in a low grumble , his usually bright green eyes became a dark black , his usual soft features became hardend. He kept his distance from the girl as she enetered, he knew it would be the best to keep things on more of formal terms with her due to the fact each time he would soften he would get hurt.
Oasis never exspected to be this way with her, he never thought they would be on non speaking terms, it saddend the inner peace-maker in him. He was learning his. soul was literally to old to fight..the warrior in him had died long ago possibly, or maybe he just wasn't fully awakend.
Having heard the call for her to come in, Pepper grabbed the doorknob and turned and entered. She was nervous for what she would be faced with. A kind Oasis or a not so kind Oasis. His voice had sounded rather not so kind so Pepper made her way into the place in a slow pace.
"Um, hey..." Pepper says quietly, taking her shoes off at the door, not sure if she should be the one speaking right now but it was easier then silence. Silence meant to Pepper that things weren't right between them. Things would never go back to the way things were before. Before Hunter. Before after Hunter.. It meant it was all true. "How..how are you?"
She made her way over to where he was but as he kept his distance from her she nodded and moved back a little. She fiddled with her fingers and pressed her lips down eachother. Her heart ached for his friendship and yet it also knew something else too. And that something else scared the living daylights out of her.
One day they will make humans from steel, but until then I may have to break these bones.
I wonder if it'll even work?
Farewell || Poasis
The brunette found her way out of her room and out the door in a matter of several minutes but that dark cloud was still following her since the day of the moon before last full moon. Both moons had turned out badly. Climbing into her car now, she turned on the ignition and sped out of the driveway. She was going to see Oasis, if he liked it or not, and hopefully this time things didn't blow up in her face like the several times she had tried in the past. All she wanted was her friend back.
As she parked her car she looked up at the window where Oasis's apartment was. She remembered very clearly hearing a window break that day. Hearing it now in her eardrums she closed her eyes, took her hands off the steering wheel and shook her head. "No way am I going to ruin this chance. No way." She told herself out loud and then got out and made her way inside. There she began to wonder where Hunter was - or at least his voice. I'm right here. Spoke too soon.
Finally reaching the floor Oasis was on, and finding the strength inside, she tapped on his door lightly. Like always, her heart was pounding and she felt as if she would start crying but didn't let herself.
noises i play within my head touch my own skin and hope that i'm still breathing
There is no backing out now
