Another cool thing would be a young Peri focused spin-off. It would be cool to see him learn magic and see how he ended up choosing to be a fairy godparent like his parents even though he knows his god kids will forget him like Timmy did. He’s a popular character it would make sense. He almost did get his own spin-off when Fartman tried to make Spellementary school a thing
The failed Spellementary backdoor pilot is so interesting to me because I feel like it could work in a specific way, but not the way Elmer likely envisioned it if Love Triangle is anything to go by. (I'm going by Butch's real name since nicknames are for friends and Elmer Hartman is no friend)
It's no wonder it never became a thing; Poof/Peri doesn't really have much of a character if you take only the OG show into account, he was essentially just a plot device for the most part. Foop/Irep would have worked better as a protagonist but I doubt they would've done it. If the idea of the Spellementary school show was less 'baby shenanigans' and constant 'Poof vs Foop' and instead focused more on Poof's interactions with his family and such I would've enjoyed a possible Spellementary School spinoff if it was written like that.
Regarding a possible young Peri spinoff with ANW in mind, that idea would actually solve all my gripes with what Elmer was trying to do with Spellementary School. Like if you really want something Poof-focused just age him up a tiny bit to where he can be an actual character that does things, lol.
The idea of a Poof/Peri spinoff in the first place would turn some people off though, likely because it would be pretty different from FOP. There wouldn't really be any wishes to grant and if you were a fan of the human characters you wouldn't be seeing much of them outside of possibly Timmy and that's it.
