I became interested in pigeon keeping several years ago when my first pigeon, Potch, randomly landed on my deck. (I lived on the beach) He had strayed from his flock and was desperately underweight. To my surprise, his owner didn’t even want him back; he “wasn’t a good enough flyer” apparently. This opened my eyes to the harsh realities that many pigeons face due to human indifference.
I've developed a deep passion for rescuing pigeons, and I find so much joy in rehoming all my foster birds and squabs. It’s truly important to me to ensure they go to responsible and loving homes where they will be cared for and cherished.
