I should add that because of it, I had a good conversation with Ahzra’li though. He showed me where he liked to hunt and we caught a big antelope. It was good. Thinking about it makes me want to go out again... But he said something interesting to me... He said I didn’t make it easy to get to know.

Now, I understand where he was coming from, but I guess... I guess I’m meaning to keep it this way? I have too much on my plate; including helping New Dawn. I don’t know... Maybe I should trust them more...”

“Fuck. Everything. Not only did I get tasked with babysitting a small girl who apparently can teach me how to /make friends/, I nearly got Captain Marcus killed. Hell, this Aya or whatever the shit her name is? She’s too much. She’s too loud, too quick to jump up and ugh...

And on top of all of that, I’ve learned that New Dawn is not just a company for the lost and scared. It’s also for Ahzra’li and Marcus, themselves. Fucking Empire always screwing things up...

I finally told someone... Someone that wasn’t Sirun. I told the Captain and his husband about my parents... What am I doing..?”

New Dawn Interview

“I went through with it. It was a little bit more nerve wracking than I would have thought; Captain Marcus is a tad annoying... But I’ve been through worse. I was easily able to convince him and his husband that I was a good fit for the company. Granted, I will be hunting for them and making sure I do what I said I would because I honor my word, but this way I can try to find clues as to where Abbey is. It helps that there are some poor souls in New Dawn, because bad people follow. Where there are bad people, there are connections and clues.

Either way, I have a lot of work ahead of me. I have to get close to these people. Especially the ones who are hiding or running from said baddies. And with it, I can learn more about this company too. Marcus’ husband seems friendly. Maybe I’ll start there.

I should also add: Marcus commented on my clothing... Jackass has no idea what he’s talking about.”

“Hanging out in Ul’dah. Saw two people dancing today. Was interesting to say the least. Being a performer myself, I could never do what they did. Dancing is not my forte. Hah!”

“I’m no closer now than I was then. It’s been fourteen years... Hell, going on fifteen. This is driving me insane. I suppose it has been for a while. I don’t want to put too much here today because my hand is cramped from all the harp strumming I did today in Ul’dah square. This place sure is gorgeous though. I found this old picture in one of the taverns. It was for sale, and it’s better than anything I could ever draw.. Also, I saw a rather beautiful girl who reminded me of Abbey... Everything reminds me of her. You would think by now I’d be over it and let go... I can’t. She’s my sister. Maybe I’ll find more clues tomorrow.”
