I will actually only accept Percival Graves’ return if it looks something like this : 

“SURPRISE, MOTHERFUCKER !” He yells as he kicks open the doors, effectively interrupting Grindelwald and his followers’ little family reunion. “BET YOU WEREN’T EXPECTING THIS!” 

Grindelwald goes red in the face. “How are you still alive?” 

“Ah! You wish you knew, dickhead!” 

“Director -” an Auror starts. 

“Ssssh,” Percival says. 

“Director we kind of have a job to do here -” 

“Yeah, I know, fight them all, get hurt, come out victorious, blah blah blah. Let me have this first. Look at his face!”

But can you imagine Graves determinedly going through physio and performing his exercises with manic devotion to get his leg muscles working again? And all his aurors are saying it’s fine sir, we’ll cover you and they don’t seem to understand that it isn’t the spell-casting and fighting part Graves is worried about.

Oh no.

He won’t be satisfied until he can kick down the door and shimmy at Grindelwald and for that he needs his damn knee to stop giving way beneath him and screw it, his fingers are never going to bend right again, he’s going to just tape the fuckers into fingergun shapes because he promised Grindelwald that when he broke out he’d take him down with fingerguns and then moonwalk out over Grindelwald’s unconscious and bleeding body and Graves keeps him promises alright

the sad thing is we’re not just missing on new Graves fanart and fanfics, but with the lack of any real content we’re missing out on : 

more Graves gifs. gifs of his hands, his eyes, his frozen expression, his happy smile should he ever smile, every single twitch of his eyebrows captured and giffed and analyzed until we’ve exhausted that, too; (also gifs of his back in those waistcoats and all, ya feel) 

more edits. painful edits, using song lyrics, grey and black edits with like Percival’s defeated, slumped form after he fucks up so much it costs the other characters a lot - a quote to accompany it, like, “I thought I was doing better” - JUST - PAINFUL EDITS OKAY?

Fantastic Percival And Where To Find Him 

Percival Graves is an Animagus, and after his unfortunate encounter with Grindelwald, he was somehow trapped in his animal form - a black jaguar, very wounded, and ended up in a circus in Paris. 

After the chaos in New York, Newt went to Paris to continue his research on animals. Tina joined him shortly, followed by Queenie and Jacob. They heard about this magical circus and went to check it out… and they ended up rescuing the real Director of Magical Security. Lot of tears and hurt/comfort and love, and of course, Credence was there too.
