Death of Percy - Chatzy
druelladuhvil:
Percy hadnât been able to contain the rage heâd felt after Caroline had fought back. After everything he had done for her... After everything he had aimed to instil in her, she had double crossed him. He had even decided to be kind enough to murder her quickly... Yet then she had squeezed that blasted spray in his eyes and he had failed to stop her escaping. She would pay. Slowly. Painfully.Â
His wrath only seemed to grow as he mulled over the events, nursing his wounds... He had made his way out of the Castle, a disillusionment spell allowing him to leave without attracting notice. That was then, unfortunately for Charlie Hathaway, he had spotted Camilleâs brother. Alone in a corridor, he hadnât been able to resist- the anger that had been building, now overwhelming, needed an outlet. Camille, having already crossed him once too many times... Could certainly do with another lesson, especially considering the foolish âJamesâ she had sent after him. He certainly hadnât been âGoodeâ enough to defeat him. And now he would never be able to do anything about what Percy had done to him. Revenge was sweet.
barely-charlie:
âI donât believe itâs foolish for anyone, anyone is liable to die at any given moment,â Charlie commented, retaliating smoothly with a shrug. He wasnât sure why he was still talking anyway; he grew bored frequently and easily, and his concentration wavered often. âLife is full of surprises, never heard that one before. It makes it sound like itâs a treat, when all too often, theyâre nasty surprises. Enough of that, however. I suppose. Iâm not a fan of thinking too far into things. Iâm loyal to few things, but that doesnât make me noble. Possessing something ad being something are two entirely different things.â
âWell, I canât dispute such an indisputable fact.â He agreed calmly. âThough I must say I consider it particularly pessimistic to do so...â He continued, tone languid as he remarked on the otherâs words. Their conversation, while not particularly interesting to him per se, was giving him a very good insight into the happenings of Camilleâs brotherâs mind, something he definitely needed if he were to successfully use him against her. âNow, there are libraries of literature written about that fantastical idea, nasty or nice, life will always throw something at you from around the next bend... You canât always catch it, or even miss it... But you have to get through it.â He commented, shrugging his shoulders nonchalantly. âVery well, as you wish to be seen... But donât sell yourself short, that wonât get you far in life.â
druelladuhvil:
Putting the real reason of why she was here to the side, Druella hated the ministry and people that worked for them. Not all, but a large portion of them and especially people like Percy. It all went back to having been wrongfully tried. âYou do make a valid point, sir.â She emphasized, moving to cross her arms over her chest as her posture was straightened even further. âNow I have always been curious as to the way the ministry works, not how to get a job but what itâs like behind closed doors. Can you elaborate? Of course, I understand if some things must be kept private..â Druella spoke clearly, her faint smile never fading.
âI aim to, considering my job requires me to keep an open mind.â He commented bluntly, crossing his arms slightly in impatience, while he wasnât adverse to answering questions about his profession... After the taxing day heâd had to deal with... He truly wanted to get home in order to plot a certain brunetteâs untimely demise. âWell... Thatâs something of a loaded question, would you care to be more specific?â He asked, raising an eyebrow. âItâs exceptionally different in each department, so Iâd only be able to give you my perspective within my own one, so to speak.â
sweetxcaro-line:
âNothing is ever the right answer with you, you always find a way to twist things for your cruel self.â She spoke with harsh words, preparing herself both mentally and physically to apparate. She wasnât good at it, in fact she avoided it on more circumstances than not. âI am no oneâs but my owns, I am not a piece of property you can buy.â Without holding back, her voice was clearer and far harsher than ever before toward Percy.â That would require finding me.â She told him as she started to apparate..
âOh Caroline, with you... Thereâs no twisting of words required.â He assured her with a scoff. âYouâre just as screwed up as I am. Youâre just fortunate enough to have me here to show you.â He sneered, rolling his eyes at her petty, harsh, words... Wiping at his eyes furiously in attempt to relieve the painful stinging, he almost missed her apparating altogether, and would not have noticed had it not been for the loud, sharp crack that echoed through the stone room. âFUCK.â He snarled, punching the wall in fury before he began to scheme in a way to get her back.Â
sweetxcaro-line:
âI donât care any more!â Caroline cried out, her anger getting the better of her. âDo what you please to me, I donât care any more. I am done, done serving you and your fucking twisted fantasies. Kill me, if you must.â She spat at him, showing no signs of mercy. âLike youâd ever let me forget.â The girl growled, pulling out the can and spraying him in the face with the mace. âTake that, you asshole!â She snapped, not hesitating to knee him in the groin, following the pepper spray.
His eyes narrowed irritably on her at her ill-thought-out shout. âWell that really never is the right answer.â He murmured softly, glancing over her with a look of disdain for the pathetic wreck of a girl before him. âIt was so enjoyable to break you in. A pity you never truly were mine.â He told her with a sigh. âI will be killing you.â He told her calmly, his voice never changing or reflecting the words he was saying... From his tone, he might as well have been talking about the Weather. âPrepared to die?â He asked her, glancing down to pull out his wand before he looked up, only to be sprayed in the face with the mace. With a snarl of outrage, he winced at the unexpected turn of events, sagging against the wall for support after she kneed him in the groin. âYou little bitch! Youâre going to pay for that!â He hissed, following after her blindly. âI was prepared to make yours a quick death... But youâve made that eventuality an impossibility!â
druelladuhvil:
Druella refrained from speaking out of place, making sure not to over step her boundaries quite yet. She was getting a feel, it was clear to her that he liked and thirsted after power. Not shocking, given both his name, standing and what sheâd heard. âOh thereâs no need to be rude here, sir. I recognized you from the cruise, and the ministry.â She spoke calmly, still yet to give any tell of her true intentions away. âRight, you donât have time for just the simplest of questions? I promise, it should only take a few minutes of your time, after all, you are incredibly important and just the person I was hoping to bump into.â
Her words merely preceded to perplex him. While he like to think that he was a very influential Wizard... He was not often recognised for his endeavours outside of the Ministry. âI like to think of it less as rude, and more blunt.â He told her with a light smile. Her words simply getting the vain side of him onside. âI can give you perhaps a few moments of my time.â He agreed, glancing at his wristwatch quickly to ensure he had time. âBut I do have a matter that requires my attention to attend to... So if we could hurry this along a little...â
sweetxcaro-line:
She had no choice here, it was either sit by and let him do his worst to her or fight back. She had to, she couldnât just stand by and let herself be destroyed. âTo you, which means little to me.â She snapped, her words quiet but harsh. Caroline started to speak again before being silenced by the added pressure. âStop,â she pleaded with a whimper, using her hand to protect her head against the wall. The other losing grip of her wand once sheâd realized what else she had on her. âWho said I was doing anything?â Caroline coughed out, now gripping onto the pepper spray in her pocket.
âDo you really wish to anger me?â He asked her in disbelief, outraged to see and hear her standing up for himself. âI thought I instilled better manners in you than that.â He sneered. âYou should know better by now... And by the time Iâm done with you today, you will.â He laughed coldly, squeezing her chin painfully as he reached into the depths of his jacket and pulled out a frighteningly sharp blade. âRemember my little friend?â He asked tauntingly, ignoring her plea for him to stop. âGood decision.â He told her as she let go of her grip on her wand... Not noticing her going for her mace.Â
Kaineâs expression was equally as cold. He hardly knew who this person was and they were going to look at him and treat him as if he were the scum of the Earth? âDragon leather boots, please. If that is real leather then you treat it like shit because it looks like fucking shit. So maybe walking on the soil could cover up those cracks I see.â Kaine snorted in repugnance. âThe only thing Iâd have to be sorry about is such a pretty face having to be such an asshole.â
The coldness in the otherâs expression didnât perturb him in the slightest, instead only succeeding in reminding him as to why he disliked this insolent imbecile so much. âI can assure you that this is genuine dragon leather of the highest quality on the market, not that I would expect someone like you to recognise quality when you see it.â He sneered. âConsidering theyâre serviced regularly, Iâd recommend you get your eyes checked before you make such ludicrous claims.â He sneered. âItâs a pity I donât really care whether you think Iâm an âassholeâ or not... You donât register on my list of people whom I care what their perception or opinion of me is.â He laughed.Â
druelladuhvil:
Druella had been waiting for the man, hoping to catch a word. She needed to study his movements, find out what the best way to end him was and sheâd always found face to face worked best. âNot so quickly,â she spoke boldly, straightening her posture and crossing her arms over her chest. âI was actually hoping to have a word with you.âÂ
Percy looked the unfamiliar girl over in what he ensured would appear mere disinterest, though was actually him sizing her up out of casual precaution. At her words, he rose an eyebrow in disbelief... It was a rare occurrence for someone to be so bold around him. âI fear you misunderstood me. That was not a request.â He began, his tone issuing a clear warning. âAnd Iâm afraid I donât have time. Iâm a very busy Wizard.â
sweetxcaro-line:
Caroline listened, taking in every last word of what he was saying but instead of speaking up any further she kept her mouth shut. âYou know nothing of what I think,â was all she muttered under her breath, eyes avoiding his gaze as he carried on. She was expecting something, anything. She wasnât entirely sure what, but she knew a punishment for her behavior was on its way. Caroline let out a small cry the moment she was pushed back against the wall, her skull meeting the concrete with a thud. âFuck,â she hissed, pressing a hand to her head as the other found her wand and tightened her grip around it.
He ground his teeth in a futile attempt to regain his composure, though when this failed he merely accepted his rage and moved to further utilise it. âI donât care either.â He informed her exasperatedly. âYouâre worthless Caroline. And Iâm utterly fed up with how you continuously disobey me.â He snarled. âYou had better make an effort to improve... Or else Iâm afraid there wonât even be a life for you to further ruin.â He sneered, his threat clear. As she met the wall with an audible thud, he smiled, keeping his hold on her to ensure her scalp never left the rough surface of the wall behind her, he pushed her down, making sure her head scraped along painfully too. âI wouldnât do that, if I were you...â He warned icily. âYou know youâre no match for me.â
kainedario:
Kaine ran his hand through his hair, staring blankly at the other. So it made sense for him to recognize him, after all he was on the cruise. Kaine knew that much. But at the same time he could have sworn that something else happened and he couldnât remember anything about it. Hearing his voice, he looked up. Taken out of his thought bubble, he sneered. âExcuse you too. Thereâs an entire walkway around me.â
Percyâs expression only darkened at the unfortunately familiar and particularly unwelcome imbecile standing before him. He glanced the other over with a brooding scowl before he cleared his throat once again, gesturing for the other to move out of his way. âYes, soil. Do you really think Iâm about to put my dragon leather boots through such torment?â He sneered. âGet out of my way... Or you will be sorry.â He threatened, his mood already fuming enough that he couldnât even bother to contain himself.Â
Percy had been to see Charlie on behalf of their parents... Once again reintroducing the prospect of a betrothal, and thus enduring the lengthly debate with his brother over why it was necessary and expected of him... Finally leaving with little more achieved than when heâd first arrived, he glanced up in irritation to see just who it was that was blocking his way. âExcuse you.â He began coldly.Â
barely-charlie:
âThat is, if I donât end up in a ditch first,â he agreed, completely serious. It was something heâd thought about a couple of times given his reckless lifestyle, but never paid much heed to. He listened carefully to the man, simply shrugging his shoulders as he offered advice. âThat sounds like a dream life. However, my life is not a song, and I am far too deeply invested in what remains here to leave it. University isnât whatâs keeping me here, itâs just a pastime until I find a way out.â He shrugged again, not sure what else to add. Charlie studied the manâs expression, but it seemed like not much had changed. âIâm not a noble person, as most people and myself can agree. Theyâre not noble. Theyâre not anything, really. Theyâre just the things I care about.â
âNow, what a foolish idea.â He laughed, concluding to treat the remark as a joke... Though Percy did entertain the prospect of being the one to put this imbecile into the ditch... The though of which was enough to bring a rare, genuine smile onto his lips. âYou never know... Life tends to surprise us the most when weâre least expecting it.â He reminded him, shrugging his shoulders too before he turned his gaze to the window and the view outside. âI must admit, Iâm not sure thatâs the way most are expected to view university... as a pastime.â He chuckled. âNow, surely there are some things to which you are loyal- your family for one... Loyalty is a noble trait.â He insisted with another false, believable smile.Â
sweetxcaro-line:
âThat is why youâre last name is barely heard of, if at all?â Caroline snapped, she had had enough. There was only so much she could take, and this was closely becoming the last straw. âYouâre living in a world that has long been forgotten, no one gives a damn about blood status these days. Your name would be nothing without your money,â she spat at him. âAnd if your family knew the kind of person you truly were, Iâm certain you wouldnât have much family left at all.â Carolineâs words were harsh, and brutally honest as she put everything on the line. She didnât care what she was risking, she couldnât take just standing around taking what was handed to her. âI have no interest in your brother, nor do I plan on getting in the way of any sick betrothal you push upon him. That is his and your business.â She shook her head, pulling a face at the slapping movement but her expression never faltered. She was used to the pain, sheâd endured it more times than she could count. âI have done nothing but push him far away, itâs not my fault that he takes after you.â
Percyâs anger started to bloom at her very first words... and controlling his temper had never been a strength for him, so as she went on and on... His wrath continued to grow and grow. âI would stop right there.â He began warningly, his expression appearing innocent superficially, though his fury was there, in the twitch of his left eye, the slight turning down of his lips... and then of course the near-murderous rage in his eyes. âLet us not forget that it was you who came crawling to me in a poorly thought-out plan to draw out information into just who your real bastard of a father was.â He sneered, looking down his nose at the piece of filth who stood before him. âYouâre wrong you brat. You care little for blood status because youâre on the wrong side of blood purity. Youâre a pathetic excuse for a Witch and youâre beginning to realise that unwelcome truth.â He snarled, his hands curling into fists by his side. âBut I do have money Caroline. So all of these âWhat Ifâsâ are entirely irrelevant.â He laughed derisively. âAnd what? Is that a threat?â He asked, cocking his head to the side as he fixed his intense glare upon her. âIf you say even a word of our dealings to any member of my family... I will have your head.â He threatened, taking a step closer to her until they were chest to chest. âIt is. Iâm glad we finally agree to something.â He sneered, tilting her chin up to meet his gaze as he continued to scowl angrily at her. âAfter me?â He asked with a grating laugh. âHeâs pathetic, even I can see that... Heâs weak. Tainted by the idiotic ideals of your generation... But I can fix that. I will fix that. Not that that is any concern of yours.â He sneered, losing interest in her as he pushed her back with all his strength, hard against the stone wall of the room they were in.Â
barely-charlie:
âIâve managed to make it this far, Iâm sure I can carry on for at least a little longer,â Charlie commented, casting the man a long stare. He didnât bother to hide the fact he was sizing the man up, even if he himself was unsure why heâd suddenly felt a cold rush down his spine as he kept talking. âMy preferred profession,â he mirrored his words, âbears no relation to any course at this university. Iâm on a scholarship here, which is the only reason why I havenât dropped out and attended a muggle university like I planned years ago.â At his question, Charlie paused for a second as if thinking, although he knew the answer already and off by heart. âMy boyfriend, my sister â and my other, almost honorary sister â, my books and my photography. Iâm a simple man, what can I say.â
âWeâll see.â He agreed, his words coming across as joking though by this point Percy was beginning to wonder as to whether there were any benefits of keeping this spoiled, exasperating youth alive. He watched curiously as the boy stared back at him, pondering as to whether he might have let his flawless mask accidentally falter, outing that immediately as an impossibility, he instead smiled charmingly at the other. âWell, I must admit I find it difficult to then see your interest in remaining at university... Even with a scholarship- Why not just seize the day and chase your dreams?â He asked, sounding every bit the romantic though he truly could never condone such a course of action. The mere mention of a boyfriend was enough to make him want to grind his teeth, though he held it in... Determined to keep at least a friendly relationship with the boy. âNow, thereâs nothing simple about that.â He laughed, smiling gently. âTheyâre noble things to care about.â
james-goode:
âYou canât get away with this forever,â James said while crouched down on the ground, blood trickling down his chin out of his mouth and from his temple from where jagged stone cut his flesh. He listened to Percy, his head spinning from the injury, but he listened none the less. He tried his best to stand up and reach for his wand but it was cut short by Percy flinging him again across the other wall. This time James hit the other side of his head hard, and the blow almost knocked him out. As he fell, he felt his shoulder take the blow, fracturing it. James wanted to cry out, but he kept his voice in, not wanting to seem inferior in his weakness against Percy.Â
âReally?â He asked with a sneer. âWatch me.â He whispered, a cold laugh leaving him as he leisurely made his way over to Jamesâ already bloody body. âExpelliarmus.â He cast, catching the wand nimbly before he snapped it with a smirk, moving forward, he lunged the two ends of the wand through Jamesâ hands. Another cruel laugh left him as he effectively crucified his hands to the wooden wall behind him. âNow... For some fun.â He mused, his tone filled with malicious delight. âI think I have something in mind for Camille... since she disobeyed me.â He snarled, mostly to himself. âAnd if she canât hear... Then I certainly donât want you to be able to communicate... So we may just have to stop you putting those hands of yours to work.â He cackled. âdexteritate quamdiu vivo ego in aeternum perdere!â He murmured, cursing James and rendering his fine motor skills useless. âI do hope you donât intend to go into a profession where you need to use your hands.â He taunted, snickering again before he pointed his own wand at the boy. âYou shouldnât have messed with me.â He told him with a smile of amusement now that he had won. âThat... is for punching me.â He told James, waving his wand and breaking both of his legsâ Femur, Tibia and Fibula bones simultaneously. âGood riddance boy.â He called, heading out the door before he paused, turning back to cast a spell that would ensure he could never speak one word that would out that it had been Percy who had been responsible.. Not caring he hadnât specified writing, after all... Heâd ensured James would never do that again either.Â
