Apologies for the redundant question about not having a Kurt. It wasn't until after I'd already sent it in that I'd scrolled through your other pages and realized you'd already answered it. I would have gladly applied for Kurt, had he been available, but I'm honestly curious about your blatant aversion to both Kurt and Rachel.

I wouldn’t say it’s blatant as I hoped to find a place for both of them and I didn’t want to make this RP bigger than it should be if there wasn’t going to be interest. I did my best to match each book character’s personalities with a Glee character counterpart. Rachel and Kurt were candidates for some of the Gone characters but in the end I felt that they would fit better for two of the more minor characters in the series (Roger and Taylor). 

However, both are important to the book series’ growth, so like I’ve said numerous times I am not at all against adding a Kurt or Rachel in the future. It really depends on the interest level.

KITTY WILDE

Kitty Wilde wasn’t originally from Perdido Beach like everyone else. She lived about an hour away in Las Vegas with her parents. Right from the start she didn’t run in with the right crowd. Her friends were all dirtbags who came from the wrong side of the tracks. It was her way of rebelling against her parent’s wishes for her to be the perfect daughter. She started drinking when she was fifteen. A guy named Tony was the person who offered the bottle and she couldn’t get enough of it. That was until her parents caught her with a bottle of vodka. Kitty blamed Tony for what happened but her parents weren’t convinced. They sent her and her precious dog Patrick to live in Perdido Beach with her grandfather in hopes of reforming herself.

As she was driving through the desert with her grandfather, he suddenly disappeared and their truck crashed. Kitty’s arm was broken beyond repair, luckily Patrick was alive and well. She laid there for what felt like forever in agony and she came to the conclusion that she was going to die out in the middle of nowhere. Coyotes even attacked her one night and Patrick fought them off but he was gravely injured too. Kitty was fully convinced that she was going to die until a miracle happened. When she held her dog close to her, his wounds began to heal and when she touched her now rotting arm it was healing too. Kitty didn’t know where her ability to heal came from but she did know that it had saved her life and she was grateful. She made her way to Perdido Beach, fifteen miles away, and met Sam. Now that Perdido Beach had a healer all of the sick and hurt kids had a better chance of surviving.

R Y D E R  L Y N N - Kitty thought Ryder was an annoyance at first. He always seemed to want to know what Kitty was doing every single hour of the day. But what Kitty didn’t realize at first, was that Ryder was the only person who truly knew her. He understood her mistrust for people and offered his own advice. She’s glad to have someone who understands.

F I N N  H U D S O N - Kitty never really talked to Finn that much, but when he brought in one of his fishermen who had a cut they got to know each other better. Finn is funny, he’s relaxing and easy to talk to and she suspects that he has a crush on her. If Kitty wasn’t haunted by her own demons she might consider dating him. But for now it’s better to be alone.

M A R L E Y  R O S E - Kitty finds Marley annoying. The way she whines when her kids aren’t getting well fed or don’t have enough supplies. What’s worse is when she asks Kitty to go heal a kid when they don’t even need any help. But Marley has helped her out in return, so she can’t hate her for being a user.

Dani Harper grew up in a conservative family who believed that they could make Dani into the perfect daughter. Though Dani was always a bit of a troublemaker. Sometimes she’d climb on her roof and spend the night looking at the stars. Other days she’d travel to the beach in Santa Barbara, where she lived, and waded into the water late at night. Dani knew that she was gay at a very young age. For some people it might have been a good thing that she knew about herself early but she knew her parents would never approve. In middle school she met a girl who was probably the most attractive person she had ever seen and luckily she felt the same way. One night in the school parking lot, her teacher caught her kissing the girl she liked and reported the incident to her parents. The next day Dani was shipped off to Coates Academy in hopes of separating her and her girl. But the attempt was futile as Dani found herself crushing on Brittany Pierce, and Santana Lopez seemed to take an interest in her. Her powers were discovered when she and Brittany were hanging out in the field when suddenly she flung Brittany into the air. Dani freaked out and quickly dropped her, almost breaking her legs. She still hasn’t forgiven herself for that.

The teachers disappearing at Coates caused panic and Dani was one of the powerful people locked up in the basement. Santana came to her rescue and released Brittany and her. Both of them made their way to Perdido Beach where Sam Evans took them in. Brittany insisted on being a soldier and Dani agreed too because she wanted to protect her from harm. When Coates Academy arrived, Dani knew she had to find Santana and properly thank her for what she had done. But knowing Santana, her payback may not be something she would want to do.

B R I T T A N Y  P I E R C E - Dani has had a crush on Brittany ever since she arrived at Coates Academy. Brittany is so oblivious to her feelings that almost hurts too much. Each day Brittany would pester her to tell her who her crush was but Dani could never muster the courage to tell her. She was afraid she would be rejected because Brittany seemed straight. But the way she looks at Santana Lopez makes her think otherwise, she’s just too afraid to tell her friend how she feels.

S A N T A N A  L O P E Z - Dani finds herself hot and bothered by Santana. She always catches her attention by swaying her hips as she walked down the hall. Santana confronted Dani about her sexuality and her so obvious crush on Brittany, she told her that she may feel the same way about Dani if Brittany ever broke her heart. Dani got a lot of mixed signals from Santana and was almost way too confused when she freed her. She thinks Santana is up to something but she doesn’t know what.

S A M  E V A N S - Dani and Sam are the unlikely friends. Dani is more introverted and doesn’t like to take credit for things while Sam is the town’s hero and very extroverted. They both are the most powerful people that don’t like Sebastian Smythe and they’ve bonded over their plans to take back the town. She wouldn’t call him the next Brittany Pierce, but Dani feels like she would do anything for Sam.

Ryder Lynn was originally from Cuba. He was an orphan, left on the street after his German mother and Cuban father decided that they didn’t want him anymore. He spent the first ten years of his life on the streets, taking odd jobs, and begging from rich travellers from foreign countries. And then Jennifer and Todd Lynn came out of nowhere. They decided that they wanted to adopt him and took him off the streets without his permission. He didn’t really have much of a choice, especially when they changed his name to Wisdom Lynn, which he hated, and asked his fellow adoptive siblings to still call him Ryder. He lived on a private island known as San Francisco de Sales in a big mansion.

One day all of the waiting staff and his parents disappeared from the island. His newfound freedom gave him the idea to escape the island with his adopted siblings and start over. They climbed onto a speedboat and drove off to the mainland town of Perdido Beach. Once they reached the shore he met a boy named Sebastian Smythe who offered to join their group. Ryder soon learned that Sebastian was not as good as he seemed and he seemed to run a gang of criminals. Unfortunately they wouldn’t let him escape so he put sleeping medicine in his food and ran off to Perdido Beach with his siblings. Sam Evans welcomed him and his siblings, but now he’s considering going into hiding now that Sebastian is here and he’s afraid that Sebastian will get his revenge.

K I T T Y  W I L D E - Ryder knew that Kitty was a very closed off person, and he was determined to make at least one good friend in Perdido Beach. As time grew on and Ryder began bothering Kitty more, she eventually warmed up to him. Now she tells him everything and Ryder is willing to listen to whatever she says. Having The Healer as his friend was definitely beneficial.

B L A I N E  A N D E R S O N - Ryder and Blaine bonded over being from different countries. They both knew what it was like to be an outcast. However, Ryder was lucky he was brought into a rich family and taken care of. He promises that as soon the dome is down that he will do whatever it takes to help the Anderson family.

S E B A S T I A N  S M Y T H E - Ryder may have messed up badly when escaping from Sebastian and he’s dead scared of him. Every night he wonders if Sebastian will get his revenge and attack him. When they’ve spoken in person Sebastian has seemed collected, but Ryder knows all too well that this man was capable of ripping him apart.

Jake Puckerman, being the youngest of six kids in his family, was the one who had to take care of the family while his mother had a back problem and had to use a wheelchair. Usually he was assisted by his older sister Rowena.He was always teased in school for being too mature for his age and didn't have many friends. His only friend was his cookbook and the old worn out Monopoly game. He dreamed of being a great CEO and showing everyone in Perdido Beach that he could become someone from nothing. He just had to wait for that golden opportunity. And that opportunity came that fateful day where chaos broke out with the disappearance of all the adults. Jake found himself going through the kitchen of McDonald's when he heard the door open. He went outside to find a little kid standing there, desperate to order some Chicken McNuggets. And that's how Jake became the first 16 year old one-man operator of McDonald's. His job is to feed everyone in the FAYZ and now that the Coates Academy kids are here, he's determined to make business with them and hopefully have them assist in finding a way to feed the entire population. It won't be long until burgers from McDonalds will be scarce.

M A R L E Y  R O S E - Jake admires Marley for taking care of all the toddlers and babies in Perdido Beach and he’s willing to help her out in anyway that he can. If he has to smash burgers or fish into baby food, he’d do it for her in a heartbeat. Some people say it’s because Jake has a small crush on Marley but he refuses to admit anything.

F I N N  H U D S O N - Jake and Finn are in charge of feeding the children. It’s not easy when Finn sometimes comes back with minimal fish or the demand for food is higher than expected but they figure it out. Their partnership has been one of the strongest that Jake has ever seen.

Q U I N N  F A B R A Y - Jake doesn’t understand Quinn’s problem with him. He only wants to contribute to society and if he can get some extra food and supplies because of it, he’d be happy to help out. The two argue often over FAYZ politics but usually it gets resolved, at least Jake thinks everything is resolved.

I have definitely thought about it, yes! For now I’ve decided to wait and see if there’s actually interest in this rp before adding more characters. If enough people request for it, I’ll add Rachel, Kurt, and two more characters!
