Girl On Fire || Choice Para
Peyton collapsed on her bed, sprawled out like a starfish. It was too much, she couldn't do it anymore. Having a baby had really put a damper on this whole education thing, not to mention the lack of sleep he caused made for a difficult day in the classroom. She was done with it. She couldn't have a kid and be in school, one of them had to go and well, the baby sure as hell wasn't going anywhere. She covered her eyes with her forearm. "Who needs school anyway?"
Suddenly she felt the room begin to spin and uncovered her eyes. She was no longer in her flat, she and her bed were in a giant room with a table and a lounge chair which was occupied by a strange looking woman.
"Finally came to your senses," the woman said.
Peyton looked around. "That or I've just lost my bloody mind."
"Trust me, you lost that a long time ago. I'll make this brief as that ridiculous imp will be returning soon with that wretched creature that relinquished itself from your beloved womb."
Suddenly Peyton felt a sharp pang in her temple and forced her eyes closed. All sorts of memories crept back into the girl's head. She was a ballerina... a paper ballerina. Henry was there too but he was a soldier, a broken one, but there was no baby. Just like the pain came on, it was gone, sending Peyton hurdling up the bed.
"What the bloody fuck did you just do to me?!"
"I gave you your memories back. I got bored one day and decided to mix up your lives. But then you all got way to comfortable so now you have to choose." She pointed to a bottle with Alex's name. "Return to the life you've been living with the pathetic meat sack and the diaper dumpster whom together ruined your perfect life."
Next she pointed to a ballerina atop a music box. "You can go back to that life I just showed you. Keep the imp, lose the pathetic makeup of your joint DNA." Then she pointed to a jeweled cube that resembled pandora's box. "Or you could be someone new and go somewhere completely different. Keep the memories, ditch those losers and start fresh. Unfortunately, the choice is up to you."
"I'll keep my meat sack and diaper dumpster you freaky bitch," she insisted, summoning the bottle to her. Just like that the room whirled back to normal and the last ten minutes with all its information was wiped from her brain as she curled up in her bed.
