Well it’s always good to have a slice of something with a coffee. Quite a good banana loaf recipe.

Grumpy Mule coffee at Christie’s Bistro on Oxford Road, Manchester. Beautiful building and a rather good coffee with caramel and dark chocolate undertones.

Getting back into coffee reviewing again... Another free coffee voucher for Benito at John Lewis Cheadle. Another disappointment! Just had another sip and there is flavour in there but totally overpowered by burnt coffee.

Costa latte in the Tesco Parr’s Wood outlet was much needed after a bad night with a snotty baby. Pleasantly surprised as I’ve had more bad coffees at Costa and it’s outlets than any other chain. It’s drinkable and slightly enjoyable. Not too overroasted or burnt by the barista. Still lacking some depth of flavour though.⭐️⭐️⭐️\5 (and the first mince pie of the year snuck in there too!) 🎄☃️

Looking for the perfectlatte in and around Manchester. Not found it here in JohnLewis in Cheadle. It was free and so was the cake thanks to a JL card. But the coffee is burnt and thin. Not the worst but far from the best. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5. Mainly because both were free. My search continues...
