“I suppose it was. I mean, everyone joined after never have I ever, didn’t they?” Frankie took pride as if she had invented the card game and not just brought it along to be played. “You still haven’t told me exactly what you were cooling off from-- even if it was just him being a jerk. A grade-A Hollingsjerk.” As their conversation continued, Frankie found herself busy with the hemline of her skirt. She should have ironed it this morning. At Lola’s comment on her and Zoe, Frankie’s jaw dropped, “Me and Zoe? Oh my god, Lo! There’s no way that could...” her stomach was churning. You don’t have to like girls. But what if she did? Should she spill now? “And what if I do like girls?”

“game night was totes a success,” said lola, hands coming together cheerily. “and- after all this, can you believe i survived in the vicinity of all three hollingsworths?” surviving or luxuriating? she would never tell. “agh, so much happened that night too! you saw me and hunter, right? SO adorbs. and don’t think i didn’t see you and cam… you guys are so totally hiding something from me! but don’t worry, franks, i ship it.” god, lo, can you let her get a word in? “how did you feel about game night?”

“A total and complete success. Even if I was more interested in Uno than anything else,” she grinned. “I know, I’m proud of you. Didn’t even have to come between you and Miles once,” with whatever was happening between them. She was having to speak fast in order to not get cut off too much and to catch up to where they were convo wise. “You and Hunter were being so cute, but it will take me a little bit to get used to you two, just a warning... Me and Cam?”
