TFW you’re totally comfortable being the butt of your own jokes and you make one around someone that doesn’t know you very well and they try to tell you “oh but that’s not true!!!”

And then you have to decide whether to explain that your sense of humor revolves largely around teasing of people but you’re uncomfortable making most other people the object of those jokes or let them think you’re fishing for compliments.
