Well that's a lot of books...
It's too bloody cold and I can't sleep.
Ethan’s teeth are starting to come through as well, so I’m overtired on top of that. Ugh, I might have to take some sleeping tablets.
You don't want to take too many, Nina. Otherwise we'll have trouble waking you up!
Happy Birthday to You...
I never thought I’d be here to see the day that John Mitchell becomes organised! But, um, what are you implying?
Well now you have. It only took 120 years. You know, some time, just you and me?
Happy Birthday to You...
I love you, too. I’m free tonight, yup! Why do you ask, Mr Mitchell?
Oh I was just asking, to be prepared and stuff. It's a new chapter of my life, now, being prepared. But, y'know, if we're alone...
Happy Birthday to You...
Of course I remembered. Been planning your surprise party for mont— Oh, oops. I think I’ve ruined it now… Anyway, happy birthday!
And that is exactly why I love you, Annie Sawyer. Oh well, I know about it now. So, you free tonight?
Happy Birthday, Mitchy!
I’ve got the perfect gift for you!
Immy, you shouldn't have gotten anything! Thanks for remembering though, you're great!
Happy Birthday to You...
Happy birthday dear, Mitchell! Happy birthday to you!
Annie! You remembered! Thank you! I feel really old now.
Netflix is such a good invention.
You, my friend, have been missing out. Well if a person can marry the Efflie Tower, I’m sure it’s possible somewhere.
There goes any chance of me sleeping ever. Someone's actually done that? What goes through some people's heads, George?
We are all misfits living in a world on fire Sing it for the people like us, the people like us
Good morning.
Aha! I knew there was a reason. I understand, though. The sun can be fun; but also blinding and irritating.
Of course I’m offering! If only I could take a picture of you wearing them. I’ll just have to live with the memory.
Ah, perhaps we should. You still have to wear the sunglasses, though. Just for the laughs. You could model them for me. Be as sassy as possible!
You read people so well, what's your secret?
I think you'll be around for a while, so you'll probably just have to cherish it above some other memories or else you'll forget.
Of course I'll still wear the sunglasses. Did you not know I was a model in my past life? Well, it feels like I was at times. Me? Sassy? Never...
Morning everybody.
Who wants a cup of coffee and a bacon sandwich? I’m feeling generous today.
That sounds great, Nina, if the offer still stands.
Good morning.
Just alright? That seems unusual for Mr. John Mitchell… are you feeling okay? Do you have a fever?
Maybe you can’t find your sunglasses because your room strongly resembles mine… very messy. Do you want to borrow mine? Light blue rimmed sunglasses would be very chic on you.
You seem to still have your skin… Maybe not for long, though. We need to shield ourselves before we randomly catch fire in a crowd of people.
I'm perfectly fine, Imogen! Just a little groggy because of the changing weather.
Oh, yeah, that's probably the reason I can't find them. Well you know me, chic at the worst of times. If you're offering them, I'll take them!
Hmmm, that's true. Maybe we should just stay in the B&B for now then, yeah? At least we won't alarm anyone.
Netflix is such a good invention.
How did you not know about Netflix? Have you not seen all the adverts!
No, I haven't! I only really use the TV to watch the Real Hustle and occasionally the football. Is it possible to marry a website, George?
Netflix is such a good invention.
Why didn't anyone tell me this existed before now?
Drinks for two | Mitchell & Annie
After giving Una a quick kiss to tuck her in for the night, Annie made her way downstairs. She had been missing Mitchell for a while now and, after neither of them could make their previously planned dinner date, they had opted for something a little more casual. After thinking about it for a while, they had decided on having a beer date. They could just sit around and speak, playing silly little games here and there. Annie decided it would be nice to just relax and spend time with Mitchell.
As Annie walked into the room, she rolled her eyes playfully at Michell’s comment before breaking out into a wide and toothy grin. “I would hope not, considering I’m dressed in this." She gestured to her sweatpants and tank top, with her hands. Before putting Una to bed, Annie had just had a nice soak in the bath. It was one of those small pleasured that she had missed as a ghost along with something she now cherished.
Annie placed herself down on the sofa next to Mitchell and curled her feet under herself, all while thinking carefully about his question. “We could, but you would probably just make weird words like aioli, or something. Is that even a real word?" She smirked a little at him, reaching down to grab her beer. “Well, actually… I was thinking that, considering we’ve got a few beers and everything, we could play one of those silly drinking games." She sat back again, now shifting to sit cross-legged. "Never Have I Ever. Let’s play that one."
Mitchell raised his eyebrows at her retaliation to the scrabble comment. "I'd do no such thing, Sawyer!" He thought for a moment, wondering where he'd heard the name before. "Oh! It is a real word! There's a jar of it in the kitchen, some garlicy stuff apparently. It was used by someone trying to make some dish exotic!" He slumped further back into the chair, not caring about his posture now that he was almost 120 years old. "Oh, I've never played it... Explain it to me?"
Mitchell swirled the remaining drop of his beer around the bottom of the bottle, wondering what exactly the suggested game entailed. He wrapped one arm around Annie and pulled her closer to him. The sound of her heart beat and the sound made him uncomfortable so he pulled away slightly, hoping it wouldn't startle her too much.

Day 2: Favourite Vampire - John Mitchell
Drinks for two | Mitchell & Annie
Mitchell was surprised when Annie had suggested that both of them should have some time alone and have a few beers. It had been ages since the two of them actually sat down to talk about stuff. He began to think it was his fault, as he couldn't bring himself around to telling her that he was a vampire again. He had to just limit the drink, stay in control, and maybe she wouldn't notice. He wondered if they'd be doing anything other than drinking in which he would have to make up some excuse so he could escape, but he quickly stopped thinking when she walked in.
"I was beginning to think you'd jilted me!" Mitchell smirked, beer in hand with one sitting beside his feet for Annie. "Even though it's not a wedding, of course..." He laughed, playfully punching Annie in the arm. Everyone had began to wonder if they would ever get married now that they had a second chance at life. The thing was, Mitchell was kind of afraid of commitment, and now that he was back on the self hatred train, he didn't think he'd be able to face Annie when she found out. Especially if they were married.
"So what plans do we have this evening?" Mitchell asked, through his sips of beer. The taste was cold and refreshing, but it didn't quite quench his thirst. "I was thinking we could play scrabble or something. Remember when we used to plan to play it and then never did?" He smiled slightly at the memory, and looked to Annie to see what she had in store for him.
