follow up to this video! a wonderfully weird yet fun sequence from the 1949 doris day and jack carson movie “my dream is yours”! bugs in a showbiz outfit, tweety, and hungarian rhapsody no. 2 (not to mention the art style) give this away as friz freleng’s direction. i can’t quite identify the scenes, but i know there’s virgil ross, gerry chiniquy, ken champin and art davis (iffy on davis) animation. first scene looks to be ken champin’s. i especially love the part where they’re all dancing in a line and bugs twirls the baton! this is so whimsical and fun. it reminds me a LOT of gene kelly dancing with jerry in anchor’s aweigh (1945).
