I wish abled people put the same amount of effort and enthusiasm into making sure we have equal access to everything as they put into trying to “cure” us.

They have fundraisers and marathons to raise money for research for finding cures the conditions that may take decades or may never be successfully cured, but not a single activity to fight for accommodations or non-discrimination or accessibility, things that could become realities in a matter of months if the effort was made.

Doesn’t care about the serious sexual assault problems on college campuses

 Wants more guns in schools in case a “grizzly bear” breaks in (wow such a potential threat!) 

She pretty much has NO experience with student loans or how student loans work 

SHE HAS LITERALLY NEVER WORKED IN PUBLIC EDUCATION SHE IS JUST A FUCKING BUSINESSWOMAN 

Doesn’t understand the importance of protecting kids with disabilities 

So yeah….. just when you thought the American school system was messy enough, it’s about to get messier.

everyone who is out of high school: pls do EVERYTHING in ur power to give any folks who have not graduated yet as much of a good education as u can. share books w them. talk to them. volunteer at an after school program or as a tutor or babysit some kids if u can. WE NEED TO GET THROUGH TO THEM. the indoctrination of youth with fascist ideals is probably the most terrifying thing i can think of happening because that shapes the world for like 2-3 generations. we NEED to raise a radical generation. u dont have to be a teacher or have kids to connect w them. please please dont fail these children
