I love storytelling that takes the time to develop itself outside of just basic conflict-resolution plot structure. stories where random shit happens / things are described for the sake of it because that’s how life is. a lot of modern plotting has a hollow quality to it in being so through-the-motions that it hardly feels breathing. existence is wild & always in motion, stories are so much more immersive when they reflect that
