Hi How’s it going? I know I kinda died off from here, but that’s because the con I work for is this weekend and I’ve been running around like a chicken with its head cut off. If you wanna know more about wtf I’m doing, you can watch this video I put out today that explains the things. Otherwise, this blog will get back to replies and general RPing Wednesday.

Swamped with work and the fact that I just had my first meal of the day a few minutes ago, but replies will be put on hold until tomorrow for me. In the mean time, I’ll reblog my Starter Call once more if anyone else wants a starter.

That didn’t do anything to calm her nerves. Maybe she’d underestimated her. No. She’d never underestimated her. She just hadn’t wanted to admit to the fact that Moira was very much a threat.
Once the vaccine was removed, she instinctively lifted a hand to rub at the wound, stopping herself short after remembering the last time she’d done that- and been swatted, very hard.
She swallowed, not meeting her eyes. Less of a question and more of a demand, she growled.
“What do you know?”
Tutting as the other lifted her hand to touch her new wound, she hoped that the warning was just enough. Seeing the other retract her hand, she gave a smile before applying the gauze to it, securing it with medical tape. With that done, she turned and removed her gloves, hating the plastic things but wishing to still keep this a sanitary environment. Though, with what she does within these walls, this room could be considered far from sanitary. Raising an eyebrow at the others question, she turned her attention back to the other. The others tone was bitter, demanding, like a dog that has been backed into a corner. The thought caused her to laugh, a warm, hearty, laugh that did not seem to fit her. “Ohh, more than enough of the things that you want buried. . . Fret not, your escapades matter not to me.” The tap of her nails on the metal counter echoed dully in the room. Her expression turned to a darker tone, much more threatening than she intended, but she was not going to complain about that. “Unless you get in my way of research, that is.”

Sombra jumped as the needle slipped into her flesh. She shot the other a glare and snarled in pain. She could tell- mostly by the look on her face- that she’d meant to do that.
“Oh? What have you heard?”
Sombra hissed through gritted teeth. She knew she’d been a terror ever since she’d been recruited, ever since they’d forced her into week-long medical testing when they’d realised she’d never seen a doctor in her life.
Expression morphed to a more calm and concentrated look, eyes flicking over the other for a moment before focusing on the contents of the vaccine. She nearly missed that the other said something as her bad habit of getting far too focused on her work came through. “Far too much to say in this short visit, but I can say that ninety-eight percent of them I know are pure, unadulterated, lies. . . It is amazing what a quick search of our files brings up for you.” Though, she was not going to go into the details that she went through the original, physical, files, rather than the ones that everyone in the company can get their hands on. Knowing the other, she probably even edited them, which may be the cause of most of the rumors she heard.
Angela was not just a surgeon, but she was one of the best combat medic’s Overwatch had to offer as well as a field medic. While it wasn’t usual to see the woman bearing a blaster in her hands she does what she must in order to help her team. If that means using a few enemies as target practice then so be it.
Just because she doesn’t use her blaster often doesn’t mean she’s rusty with her aim.
Moving around the corner just at the same time the Swiss woman finds herself practically colliding with a familiar face, one that she did not intend on seeing again unless on the front page of a newspaper claiming that the person was arrested.
“Moira.” Angela greets the scientist with a bitter voice. Her eyes narrow as she takes a step back as well, raising the blaster in her hands as her own form of protection in case the woman before her decides to pull a sneaky move. Bright blue eyes flicker left and right, trying to observe Moira’s posture and facial expression in order to have a better understanding of the current situation. She looked as confident as ever, but Angela wasn’t ignorant. She knows that this could all just be an act. She learned quickly not to trust anything the other woman says or does, so with that in mind she takes another step back to create even more distance. “I wish I could say the same about you…” Clearly she was annoyed since this was followed by a roll of her eyes.
“Why don’t we keep this short, yes? Go back to your team to help them and I shall do the same. We can pretend this little exchange never happened.” Was she afraid of what would happen? Not really. She would face off against her enemy if need be, but they both have more important places to be than staring each other down.
The joints in her right hand creaked as they twitched in preparation to work her biotics. Fight of flight was something ingrained in her, focusing more on the flight aspect of the term. Unfortunately, the curiosity that she held for this situation kept her from turning and fleeing. Curse her wanting to see things she is curious to the end. “You wound me so. . .” The twist of her tongue was followed by a chuckle leaving her chest. Although the other had barely changed physically, it was obvious that the medic had grown in personality and ideology. The medic was clearly ready for combat, more so than she was, but that was not going to stop her from getting what she wanted. What did she want? Answers? Perhaps, that was a good assumption. She, certainly, did not want a fight, but it may come to that and she was ready for that. “Oh? You wish to play pretend? . . . How inculpable. It is almost laughable. I would have thought that you would live for the day to be holding me at gun point and yet you will let me walk free? You certainly have yet to change.”

Sombra’s expression remained unamused, but she stopped her wriggling. She knew she wasn’t going to get any more out of her.
There were reasons she didn’t trust the science department. People disappeared without a trace in its corridors, behind its heavy doors and bleached walls. Should TALON find out about her extracurricular activities, they’d have more than enough reason to have her vanish.
They knew her pattern, her way of working. The chance of her even getting a sliver of a warning was almost nonexistent. She didn’t know what scared her more.
“Sí, fine. Hurry up.”
“Hurry up? Heh, you are not the one giving the shots around here.” Her pun was unintended, but welcome in her books. With a smirk plastered on her face, she, finally, plunged the needle into the others skin. Knowing that the needle was on the thicker side, she had a pad of gauze ready to help with the bleeding that was bound to happen. “You are rather infamous with the other scientists in this wing, it is rather hilarious to hear the rumors about you.” Small talk was not her forte, but it was better than the silence that was happening as she was taking her time with the vaccine, making sure it was being injected at an even pace to not cause discomfort.

No, she was not a field agent, by any means of the term, but here she was, on a mission. This was not her comfort zone, but she did what she must; keeping her team alive, or slapping them on the back of the head and sending them on their way. Really, people were fairly stupid when they were running on adrenaline. Keeping from the front lines, she took to picking up the rear and then some, trying to keep away from the fight as much as possible. After all, what good would she be injured? Rounding a corner, trying to distance herself further from the fire, she came face-to-face with a face that she had nearly forgotten. Though, seeing the other in front of her was nearly confusing to her. It was almost as if she walked straight into a memory. Taking a step back, raising her right arm as a recoil and protectionary measure. Eyebrows furrowed for a moment before her expression turned to a more confident prowess, as mask to hide her surprise. “Now... here is a face I never thought I would see again... You haven’t aged a day.”

Eyes narrow, she scrutinised the needle with more than a little wariness. Sombra didn’t know why she’d been ushered off to receive a shot. As far as she was concerned, she wasn’t due for anything.
She’d heard stories of the scientist. She’d seen her files herself. She knew better than to simply trust her. Sombra knew she’d have to watch her every move with utmost suspicion.
There was a pause as her gaze went to meet the others. There was an obvious irritation in the expression that she wore. Frankly, she wished to be doing anything but this right now. “Talon issued, company-wide, vaccine for a new strain of Meningococcal Meningitis that a few agents picked up from a recent mission. They’re in quarantine and everyone else gets a shot.” The scientist explained, begrudgingly, trying to be understanding to the other. She knew this one; she was smart and cunning, would not go down without a fight, no matter what. “You might come down with a fever because of it and it may last up to a day.” Another sigh left her as she glanced at the clock on the wall near her office door. This one was the last agent she had to deal with before she could go back to her research

“Hold still.” A huff of irritation left the scientist as her grip tightened on the others arm. In times where Talons doctors were either understaffed, or over-worked, Moira would step in as a psudo-doctor for agents. Though, most tended to stay away from her if it was not life threatening, as many who came to her were healed, but left with something that they most certainly did not come in with. Luckily, all that this one was receiving was a shot, though, who is to truly say what is in that syringe? The scientist was the only one to really know this answer, and she was not one to talk. “You squirm far too much. It’s just a needle.”

“What an unusual anomaly.” Research had been slow the past few weeks for the scientist, so she decided to take matters into her own hands. Just like any company that she had been with, Talon still had to go through the proper paperwork to make sure what she wanted to research could happen. It was a gruelingly long process that she just did not have the patience for at the moment. A chuckle erupted from her as the figure that she knelt over stirred. She knew that her biotics could heal almost any living thing, so she used it to her advantage to restore some life into this small pup. The pup looked as if it had seen better days, but what caught her interests was that it seemed the poor thing was born without it’s left leg and tail. Picking the pup up by its scruff, she stood to her full height, studying the deformed backside of the pup as she went. A whimper left the pup in tandem with a pathetic attempt to flee. The fight that this pup still had in it made the scientist smirk. Yes, a perfect candidate for her research to see if she could force a body to regrow, or in this case grow, missing parts of itself. A scuff of a shoe on the hard concrete echoed through the alley, causing her to freeze and look around. There were two ways in which someone could approach her, but she saw nothing. A bit of paranoia fell over her, knowing that a few gangs were rumored to congregate in this area of town. “Show yourself.” Her voice was stern, demanding, much like that of a well seasoned teacher. Remaining with a calm expression and presence, she moved only to hold the pup in a more ethically appropriate way, but kept a hold of its scruff, knowing it would not struggle as much with that still held.
