@tenebroum birds cannot be confined to the human gender binary
he doesn’t quite remember how they got onto the topic of gender expression , but the instant his intern expressed interest in going shopping with him , well , that was that . not even a full twenty minutes later , hawks had an entire shopping day planned out , taking into account traffic ( there isn’t any in the air ) and what shops would be best for a multitude of reasons . he even has three different options for where they can eat lunch and , if their trip takes that long , dinner .
when the day arrives , hawks swoops down and lands in front of tokoyami , a beaming grin on his face and an itinerary in his hand . he’s not necessarily on duty , so he didn’t feel obligated to wear his hero costume and he’s gotta say , it’s pretty freeing . he clears his throat and holds the itinerary out for his intern’s inspection . although he personally loves shopping in all forms , this trip is more for xem than it is him , and he wants to make sure xe approves of what he’s got planned out .
