they met in the summer break, Lloyd got into a lot of trouble, always getting into fights, running away from the orphanage (cause ofc he’s an orphan, there needs to be sad background story for the plot), Kai run into him a lot, he was basically the only person who can get along with, so he agreed to babysit him time to time, after that they become inseparable.✨

i kinda love the fact that lauren is never going to get any closure with march or have that final conversation where she gets her answers unless he survives the bullet to the heart and falling into the ocean

like she was so sure that she could trust march, he had always been in her corner, he helped her get her position as a detective back- but was that only because he knew that she wouldn’t be back as a detective for long? she’s never really going to know, no matter what information she’s able to get from other scythe members she’s never going to know what march really thought and i think that’s going to follow her for a while.

Another one for Inuit artists is Piqsiq! Two sisters who’ve been doing traditional throat singing since they were kids. They make some really gorgeous, eerie, atmospheric stuff. Highly recommend watching this video of them performing live a cappella using a looping machine, because they might be the coolest people on the planet actually

For anyone into North Asian and Central Asian folk music, there's this incredible Siberian folk-pop band called Otyken! The group is mostly women and they're from multiple indigenous groups in Siberia, with songs being sung in their range of different languages. They're so much fun and their music videos are amazing!

i'll go ahead and recommend The Halluci Nation (formerly known as A Tribe Called Red), an EDM group from First Nations Ontario that do really cool fusions of First Nations music with dubstep, moombahton, and hip hop.

I really really really appreciate people who share videos on posts like these, because almost without a doubt every time I love the music but I’ve never got the spoons to click on links and look through a bunch of music or worse google the artist I always end up too overwhelmed to start and I hate that

Haven't seen Belle Sisoski here yet so here we go: she's the current Artist of Year for BURO impact Awards. She's from Malaysia and knows how to play an insane amount of ethnic instruments and mixes them with her own voice. She does covers and her own songs, mixes ethnic instruments with Techno and shows the process. And she's also a live DJ at 19!

A compilation of stuff I know about drawing Asian faces and Asian culture! I feel like many “How-To-Draw” tutorials often default to European faces and are not really helpful when drawing people of other races. So I thought I’d put this together in case anyone is interested! Feel free to share this guide and shoot me questions if you have any! I do have custom playlists for all my works :D sometimes they seem a little too off, since sometimes I'll listen to something weird like "etherial mood music" for an emotional scene even if it's in the old west. I click around until I catch a vibe, you know?

CHAPTER TWO PUBLISHED!!! Summary Below:

Cole has set out into the wild under strict orders from Nya to locate her outlawed brother Kai. However, finding a single man in the vast emptiness of the unmapped world is an enormous task, and it’s even harder when his query is running from him.

With the notes Jay gave him and a weak trail of sightings to follow, Cole knows he’ll have to ask for help from some friends who aren’t always happy to see him; Ronin and Dareth, and their adopted daughter Skylor. Their mutual agreement will get him a meeting, but there’s no telling whether or not Skylor be willing to tell him what she knows about Kai’s recent movements… or if she really knows anything at all.

How much farther will he have to travel to find him? Will it be ten days, or another ten years?
