Out of all the characters in Look Outside, why do you ship the Shadow Mask with Sam?

I was already a TOTAL sucker for their dynamic when I first watched them (monster with an odd interest in a human it can easily harm.)(acts kind towards him for an inexplainable reason)(human trusting said-monster for reasons stated previously)(push and pull/exploration with establishing boundaries)

but my ultimate lock-in moment was witnessing their combined Gameover Screen.
