It was of little consequence, of course. This man, he seemed an intriguing one. There was a strange kind of anger beneath that calm exterior. "There’s little use in trying to escape that which I embraced long ago", Mateus hummed, a smirk playing across his lips as he rested his chin on the top of his hand, "I’d rather not waste my time fretting over something quite so irrelevant."
♈—Lavender hues were bestowed shade from ebony lashes, pale complexion shielded briefly from the sun as long, muscular legs carrying him into the shadow of a nearby pillar. This man may have known darkness in such a sense, but did he truly understand the gravity of the situation? The truth that would come from the breaking of reality itself? Things had been pushed too far out of place and the world itself would pay for it soon enough.
