Unfortunately this is something that we all do no matter how old we are. As much as I post myself online I still find myself constantly comparing myself to others. I think the one thing that has made me less obsessive about it is realizing that I will not ever look like these people and I am beautiful in my own way and the one thing I can do is appreciate what I was given. I bet if I saw you I would think you’re just as or more beautiful than the rest. All these girls you compare yourself to definitely do it too.

And fyi, when I was 16… my life was a nightmare. I was super mentally ill dealing with tons of stress, bullying, family issues, covid… etc. but I was posting like I was fine. I know this is the MOST cliche thing to say but everyone wants to look cool online, I do. And so does everyone else. But everyone is struggling in their own way. And also. You’re only 16!!!! I’m 22 now and my life is NOTHING like how it was when I was sixteen. I felt so old back then but now I feel so young. You are beautiful and you have nothing to worry about.
