Jim Bachor fixes Chicagoās potholes with mosaics of ice-creams
Jim Bachor is a Chicago-based artist whose work took an unusual path. He creates street art pieces that also serve a public purpose, he fixes potholes with mosaics. At first, his mosaics were filled with flowers, but now he add ice-creams in it.
This project of his looks like peaceful protesting, but itās much more than that. The artist actively contributes to society in two ways, he fixes public expenditure and he adds some beauty to this world. Bachor also creates other types of art, but itās safe to say that he specializes in mosaics, with some cool contemporary pieces.
A thousand colorful umbrellas These decorations come as part of a Jerusalem municipality plan to open more attractions and cultural activities. Something about the colorful rows makes us think of flowering country fields, quite a bright blast in a city! Against the gorgeous traditional architecture, they bring together the old and the new.

Happy #macroshot Monday! Although the rest of the week will be dedicated to our #burningman piece, we thought we'd give you a close up on a piece of #abalone in the studio. We used this for our sink piece as well as our "Bird Song" violin that was donated to the #renophilharmonic. Check them both out on our website, link in bio! -Team Peter Hazel
