Making A Mistake

[Hope]

Hope left the kids with their nurse and ordered her not to tell Zach where the kids were if he showed up until she got back. She needed to think. She needed to calm down. She left the castle and headed to her treehouse as she tried not to rip anyone apart as she saw them. She didn’t know if her anger was simply on the fact Zach decided he couldn’t simply tell her about a party or the fact that she had foolishly waited up all night for that asshole to come home safely. She was actually really worried about him. She cried because she thought he was in some fucking ditch and she couldn’t help him. She couldn’t make sure he was okay.

“I fucking hate him.” She said softly to herself as the mere thought of Zach just pissed her off more. She arrived at the treehouse and was about to climb up but stopped when someone approached. 

[Peter]

“Might I suggest not going up there. The beams are extremely unstable.” He told her before leaning against the nearby tree. He didn’t know what brought him to the treehouse but the darker part of him knew why. It wanted to come out because someone was hurting and it wanted to use that to feed. 

[Hope]

Hope pulled back and looked at the beams and saw that the boy was right and she just shook her head. “Great...fucking fantastic.” She said, her voice cracking as she was just beyond emotional at this point. “Nothing is fucking going right so why would this. Why...why would I be able to come here?” She asked herself as she felt like she was going to explode.

[Peter]

“It’s just a treehouse you know, many people around here can fix it. I am sure your husband  can fix it for you if you asked him.” The monster smirked as it could feel her anger building inside of her. It had not eaten emotions in a while so this was extremely hard for it to resist. 

[Hope]

Hearing the mention of her husband Hope’s eyes burned bright red, “Fuck him. I will ask my father. Zach can’t do anything but fucking disappoint people.” She said before turning to Peter. “What do you want?”

[Ombra]

Peter could feel the monster taking over as his eyes turned void. “Not Peter darling. Have you missed me? It’s been a while since we had some fun. Seeming as your husband had some fun at that party last night, why don’t we have some fun of our own?” It teases while walking towards her. 

[Hope]

Hope watched Peter’s eyes turn black and she was going to say something, but it’s words made her stop. “What are you talking about? Had his own fun...what...what did he do?” She asked.

[Ombra]

“I think that you and I both can put two and two together. He didn’t tell you about the party and the day before that girl was shoving her tits in his face. You got angry, he got angry and you know how he gets while angry. You know how he gets while drunk, I mean you saw that before you two got together while you were at those parties remember? What is stopping him from wanting to go back to sleeping around? I mean, you wanted to party I am sure he thought the same thing.” It tells her as it steps closer to her. 

[Hope]

Hope didn’t want to say it was right, but that would mean she was lying to herself. She had been to parties with Zach. They met at a party and he knew he was hiding parties from her after she caught him with that girl...why would he do that if he didn’t cheat? Why would he go out of his way to hide something? “That fucking asshole.” She said as her eyes flashed blue.

[Ombra]

“Why don’t we have some fun. I can take away that anger you are feeling you know...channel it in the same way that Zach does...through sex.” It smirked before pinning her to the tree. “I can feel the anger surging through you mixed with sadness. It’s so intoxicatingly delicious.” It purred into her ear seductively. 

[Hope]

She felt her back being pressed against the tree and she didn’t know what to do. She was so mad at Zach. She waited all night for him and he couldn’t even say hello when he walked through the door. Her eyes returned to normal and she just shook her head, “Stop talking.” She said before kissing it passionately.

[Ombra]

It smirked as it felt her energy when she kissed it passionately. It didn’t hesitate to return the favor before ripping her clothes off and discarding them on the ground. It was so hungry. 

[Hope]

Hope felt her clothes being ripped off and didn’t want to waste any time as she returned the favor and ripped off its clothes. “Please fuck me.”

[Ombra]

“With pleasure.” It smirked before picking her up and slamming into her. It’s veins turning black as it fed from her anger. The sensation flowing faster and stronger the faster and stronger that it abused her sweet spot. “Fuck you feel so good.” 

[Hope]

Hope wrapped her legs around it’s waist and moaned loudly as it slammed into her. Her nails dug into it’s back and her eyes turned red in lust as her sweet spot was abused. “Fucking shit….”

“That’s right. Let it all out. Give me all that anger.” It growled as his eyes remained voided but it’s body was completely covered in black veins absorbing her pain. It went even harder and faster the more freely she let go of the emotions. 

[Hope]

She listened to it’s words and stopped holding back her feelings. She couldn’t forgive Zach for what he did and it just pissed her off knowing she let him affect her that much. She gave him so much of her and she looked so stupid yesterday. 

[Ombra]

When she stopped holding back her feelings, it could feel itself being overwhelmed with the feeling which sent its body into overdrive. It was leaving bruises against her skin but it didn’t care. It touched the shadow she cast on the tree and absorbed the life force it could from her as it grew stronger and knew where it was going to go next. “Gosh I never thought you would be this naive dear princess but I guess I was wrong.” It smirked. 

[Hope] 

Hope didn’t listen to Ombra’s words. She was so sick of people telling her how to feel, when to feel it. She was right to feel whatever the fuck she wanted, it was her feelings why did everyone have so much to say about them. 

[Ombra]

When it finished feeding, it pulled out and dropped her to the ground. “I love how stupid and gullible your family is. As long as you are all naive and distrusting of each other, I will thrive on this island for eons to come.” It smirked before dressing itself as it could feel its body returning back to normal as he black veins disappeared. 

[Hope]

She felt the ground under her and just rolled her eyes, “Yeah whatever.” She said before standing up and dusting herself off. “You can go now.”

[Ombra]

“I am sure you are going to have a great conversation with your husband. You will be seeing me a lot sooner than you think baby girl.” It smirked before disappearing.

Peter continued to play the pipes as he waited for the next unfortunate soul to come by. Seeing someone in the distance, he smirked. “Well you don’t seem like a lost boy...you seem more like Hook’s gang...but nonetheless, doesn’t matter. Take him to the ship.”  Out of nowhere the shadow came down and picked him up and brought him to Neverland and dropped him in the forest.

Arriving in Neverland [ Alex]

Peter was sent to the real world to gather more recruits. Ombra gave him the magical pipes and told him of its abilities. Peter had no real choice, the Ombra had his shadow and therefore controlled Peter’s life. The Ombra had Pan’s shadow drop him off at a camp site. Peter brought the pipes to his lips and started to play a song around the fire and waited for those unfortunate souls that would hear the music.

The thing that seemed to have control over him that scared him the most. It was one of the reasons Felix knew his place and would never step foot out of line. “Come to challenge me, Pan? It’s been a while.” He offered with a smirk. 

“You know that I am not one that is the best with the physical aspect of fighting. I mean I am decent at it but magic is much easier and tricks of the mind are much more fun when it comes down to everything. Brute strength isn’t everything you know..well...it is when it comes to certain things.” He smirked.

“You sure you want to do that?” He grinned. Truth be told, Felix liked these sparring sessions. It kept him on his toes and gave him a way to release the pent up aggression he was usually holding onto. The other hand managed to give him a small nick across the face, but that wasn’t enough to keep him down. Pan had done worse, after all. He was quick to reverse their positions, pushing the blade away from his neck, his hand wrapping around the other’s wrist, now aiming it at their throat. “Told you.” He shoved the Lost Boy back at the approaching footsteps, Felix always pretty aware of his surroundings, tilted his head to look. “Looks like I’ve got another challenger.”

Peter had been wondering what Felix was up to now a day. He had put his son down for a nap, he still had no idea what to do with them. It was something that made him conflicted. Pan just wanted to get rid of that part of his life, the part that made him weak. 

Leaning up against the nearby tree and seeing the other training the boy, he smirked. “Now Felix, are we playing nice?” He teases while walking over to the both of them.

Grace waited until Stiles left for work before getting dressed and sitting in the living room. She heard that all you had to do was call Peter when you wanted to make a deal. And she wanted to. “Peter Pan.” 

[Peter]

Peter heard his name being called and he quick to arrive as he was summoned. "You called?" He asks while leaning up against a nearby tree. "I am surprised actually, no one summons me anymore." 

[Grace]

“I need a favor.” She said standing up. “I need you to give me my mom’s memories. All of them.”

[Peter]

"You think I will give that kind of stuff away for free? Who do you take me as hm? I am not your magic genie you know? Everything has a price you know." 

[Grace]

“I don’t give a shit, I’ll do whatever I have to do. I just need them. Please.” She said looking at him. “Please, I don’t care what you want. I just want them.”

[Peter]

"If I give them to you, I want you to clean up yourself and get better. Do you think you can do that?" 

[Grace]

“You...you want me to get better?” She asked in disbelief. “Why-why do you care?” 

[Peter]

"Because I can feel your pain Grace. It's like an addicting energy I want to feed from. It's what Ombra thrives off of and I don't want it coming back anytime soon with my son around. So do we have a deal?" 

[Grace]

“Yeah sure whatever.” She agreed just nodding. She had been told so many times to start healing and by now it was like a broken record. She just wanted the memories. “We have a deal.”

[Peter]

"You have to give me your word and if you break it there will be consequences." Peter warns so that she knows magic is not something to be playing around with. 

[Grace]

“What does it matter anyway? I promise to get better and then I don’t. For all I know these memories could fuck me up more. I don’t know. I give Stiles the same answer, I’ll try. That’s all I can say.” She replied.

[Peter]

"You want to mess with magic and its outcomes then fine you can take that chance." He responds before holding his hand in the air in front of him and making the memories appear in an orb like ball. "There that is his memories. All you have to do is drop it and you will see them play out like a movie in front of you."

[Grace]

“That’s it?” She asked unable to believe all of his memories could just be fit in a ball. “I...thank you.” She said taking it from him and holding it close to her. “You have no idea how much this means to me.”

[Peter]

"This is Neverland darling anything is possible. Just remember what I said or those memories might just drive you to destroy the one you love most." 

[Grace]

Grace nodded as she looked at the ball in her hands. She knew she couldn’t stay at Stiles place until she finished watching them and processed everything. She had to leave before Stiles came home and convinced her otherwise. “I will remember. Thank you, I have to go now. Thank you.” 

[Peter]

“You’re welcome, just remember what I said yeah? If you need me, you know how to find me.” Peter responds before disappearing and heading back home.

Ellie has fallen asleep in their room watching Hero and she smiled softly before the doctors dragged her back to the office where Nibs was. She walked in to see him throwing a fit and went over to him. “What the fuck is wrong with you?”

The doctors explains to her how they had to give him stitches but how Nibs wouldn’t revert back to human form so that they could do it. He was crying and whining whenever they got close to him and he even lashed out if they tried to put the needle anywhere near him. He ran over to Misty and hid behind her as he growled at the doctors. They want to put that huge needle in my head. Tell them I am fine. I healed I don’t need it.

[Misty]

Misty sighed as she turned to him and bit his neck and made him fall asleep. She let the doctors get him back on the bed and she stayed while they did what they had to do before they told her they were going to keep him for observation. She nodded before leaving to go check on the kids.

[Nibs]

Nibs felt the bite on his neck and he yelped before everything went dark. He had a nightmare that he was back in the time where they had drugged him and he couldn’t do anything. The male whimpered as his paws started to move and he cried. The doctors were worried about what would happen if they woke him, so they went and got Misty once more.

[Misty]

Misty told the doctors she couldn’t come at that moment since she was feeding Hero but she would come when she was done.

[Nibs]

The nightmare kept getting worse as he could feel as if it was real. His heart started to race as his head was pounding which meant that something happened. His body started to shake as he started to see white.

[Misty]

Misty was extremely tired and had finally gotten their son to sleep. She wasn’t letting him sleep in a hospital room for his first night and even if Nibs kept making it impossible for her to have that happen she wasn’t going to change her mind. She sighed as she made it back to the doctors office and woke Nibs up. “Nibs, Nibs wake up.”

[Nibs]

Nibs body was shaking really bad by the time that Misty had come into the room. There was something that was keeping him from waking up and when his brain started to ooze out a black substance it was pretty obvious what was keeping him in the translike state as his eyes even started to drip the black substance as well.

[Misty]

Misty kicked everyone out before screaming in complete frustration and grabbing something and throwing it across the room. She was exhausted. Was watching five kids and Nibs couldn’t even be a man and admit he was hurt when she fucking asked him to. “Peter!” The name came out a lot angrier than she was at the male. The baby monitor lit up as Hero started crying and she felt like she was going to lose her mind. “Peter Pan!”

[Peter]

Peter heard his name being called and he appeared and noticed what was happening. “Go take care of the baby. I can handle this.” He responds before going over and putting his hand on Nibs arm and drawing the black substance out of Nibs body and pulling it into his own until it was all gone before disappearing.

Nibs could feel his body calming down as his vital s leveled out and he resumed a peaceful sleep for the rest of the night.

She knew Nibs would be safe with Peter so she left and calmed their son down before finally putting him back to sleep. She went to go check on Nibs and saw he was sleeping. By then it was almost the morning so she didn’t see a point in sleeping as she just went to go make breakfast for the family.

Peter had found Mark’s body after he heard the conversation between Misty and Mark. He had been too late to save Mark just as he was too late to save Fox. Even if the siren never loved Peter, Peter had loved him and grown rather fond of Mark during their time together. Their son was all that was left of what their relationship was. He took Mark’s body and gave it a proper burial in a place close to their home so that their son could visit him if he wanted to once he was old enough.

There was so much anger in him over the fact that no matter how much he reached out, Mark always chose everyone else over him. Mark always chose Misty over him. But why? Misty was married to Nibs. Why would Mark rely so much on her and Hope? He knew that it was Mark’s job but there was part of him that was realizing that Mark was leaving for hours that turned to days and then weeks away from home. Every time Peter reached out, Mark pushed him away. Deep down, Peter was starting to realize that Mark didn’t really love him. Hearing Mark’s confession to Misty was all it took for him to confirm his suspicions. The siren never loved him but instead he was being used which was exactly what Peter was afraid of in the first place.

He had felt so stupid and the anger that he was feeling was just growing and he knew he needed to get it under control. Peter heard Austin crying in the nearby crib and walking over, he noticed how much that Austin looked like Mark and it caused his heart to hurt once more. For once, the leader had felt so lost and so alone he didn’t know what to do. Make them pay. The voice echoed in his head, a voice he had not missed in the slightest. “I can’t...I can’t do that.” He groaned out loud as he tried to knock the voices out of his head as he teleported somewhere else before running into someone else.

[Misty]

Misty was walking back from the level E camp. Since Noah has died she spent a lot of her free time there trying to do as much as she could for them. She knew she could just heal them all but then Nibs would be pissed and that wasn’t something she was necessarily keen on. She bumped into Peter and was silent for a second before apologizing and moving past him. She hadn’t seen him since the ball and seeing as Peter was the topic of her and Nibs’ fight she decided that she should keep her thoughts to herself and just be pleasant.

[Peter]

“They don’t care it is all some act. He hurt you, you should make them all pay. Show them not to mess with you. No one can use you like that and get away with it.” The monster spoke before Peter fought back, “Just stop...get out of my head damn it. I don’t want to start a war. I just want to be left alone.” He growled as he fought to keep Ombra from taking control of him.

[Misty]

Misty stopped as she heard his words and cussed softly at her need to be make sure he was okay. Why can’t I just be like my mom? She sighed as she turned back to him and looked at him, “How is Austin? I’m sure he is in the fussy stage. Sirens tend to get ear infections when they are young so...it can be hard to deal with alone.” She said.

[Peter]

Hearing Misty’s voice snapped him out of the thoughts he was currently having as he didn’t fully hear what she was saying. “What? What are you talking about?” He asks while trying to silence the voices in his head.

[Misty]

“How is Austin? He hasn’t gotten an ear infection right? Siren babies are usually supposed to be in the water but when they are half human they can’t adjust to the water fast enough so they get ear infections.” She repeated.

[Peter]

“No, he doesn’t. He looks like Mark...but he hasn’t gone near water yet. Mark was supposed to help him with that.” He frowned while looking at the other. “I shouldn’t miss him but I do and he used me. I was so fucking stupid.”

[Misty]

Misty frowned as she looked down. “I am so mad at Mark and Noah. They left me and now I have no one but Nibs. When I am mad at Nibs I can only talk to him about it. They were not perfect. Noah left me with the guilt of taking care of a whole island of E’s. All of which know I can heal them but I don’t. Mark left me with a list of things to do and words I can’t get out of my head and yet I still cry over the fact they are gone.” She admitted. “Sometimes I miss my parents. I wish I could have tried harder. Shit I think that if I was a better person, a version they liked they would have loved me. I miss people I shouldn’t all the time. But I don’t stop myself from missing them. I just do.”

[Peter]

“I am the face of this island Misty. I don't have anyone willing to deal with my demons. I don't have a Nibs like you do, mine was murdered and he took my heart with him. You shouldn't have to change to please others. I haven't changed not when I was with Fox and not when I was with Mark either. I thought they accepted me for me and Fox did. Mark, he didn't. I was right about him using me. Even Ombra told me that Mark was using me and i didn't listen. I should have listened. I should turn it all off and let the monster win. Give it what it wants. I can't even look at my son without hurting. I can't talk about Mark without hurting. It thrives off that hurt, it makes the monster stronger.”

[Misty]

“Mark told you he wasn’t like Fox. He would never be. He couldn’t. That type of heart and selflessness that Fox had wasn’t who Mark was. And if you asked or just...I don’t know. I didn’t want-I didn’t want either of you to get hurt.”

[Peter]

“I know that he would never be like Fox but all I asked was that he not lie to me. I asked him to talk to me if something was wrong. He was so worried about me leaving Fox in my past so that he could leave Hook in the past. I told him I would leave Fox in the past so long as he left Hook there and I believed that he did leave Hook in the past. I did move on but now...our relationship was built on a lie that he started. He wanted us to be a fresh start and he didn’t even put his effort into that. He lied to me Misty. I was stupid enough to believe him. At one point I wanted to marry Mark you know, when we were happy...but then he got more distant ever since we had the baby. He wanted me to give up everything for him and the baby and I did to the best of my ability but he didn’t even do the same. The more I think about it the more it just seems like he used me and was being a hypocrite about our entire relationship. There isn’t anything nice to say about him anymore. The Mark I thought I knew doesn’t exist and I guess he never did. I don’t want to lie to my son about it. I can’t just tell him that Mark was this great person because when he goes out in the real world and finds out the truth, he will hate me for lying to him. If I told him the truth, he would just think that Mark didn’t love him and I can’t have him think that either. Either way, I lose there is no way to have a favorable outcome from this.”

[Misty]

“You have nothing nice to say about him. That’s true but a whole group of people do. I don’t agree with you Peter but I didn’t love Mark so I don’t know. All I know is that you hating Mark doesn’t do you any favors. He is gone and you are left here and you are still letting him affect you. If you hate him so much why do you even care he is gone? Because of your son? Don’t tell him anything then. Ignore it. If you hate Mark as much as you seem to stop dwelling on it because Mark isn’t.”

[Peter]

“I don’t hate him I just...I hate myself for believing his lies. I am supposed to be the strong one on this island the one that everyone looks up to. I am supposed to not be weak from love but that is all it does to me and I hate that feeling. I don’t hate him. I just feel so lost and I don’t know what to do. I am supposed to know what to do in situations like this. I am supposed to be the one that can keep their head high and act like it doesn’t affect me. I can’t show my weakness or vulnerability or else I am not fit to be a leader. I am torn between wanting to be a proper father and the pain in my heart, the monster in my mind telling me to wage war and that no one cares for me. No one does Misty, not anymore. Everyone just hates me and I thought things were turning around. I thought things would turn around but now...I just feel so lost.” He couldn’t help himself as his eyes were tearing up and he wiped them quickly hoping she didn’t notice.

[Misty]

“We don’t hate you...I might strongly disagree with you but I don’t hate you Peter. Sometimes you can be...a lot. But other times you are very sweet. I mean Nibs is like that too. Sometimes I want to push him away and others he is all I want to be around. I feel the same way towards you...without the whole love thing cause that be weird and I’m pretty sure Sarah likes you and that would be breaking girl code. Anyway...the reason I liked you and Fox so much was because you seemed happy. You came across as a human being. You don’t have to be just one thing. You can be whatever you want.” She said choosing not to bring up him crying.

[Peter]

“You are queen of Atlantica Misty, you know about the pressures to be queen about the pressure to be someone who you aren’t. Your parents wanted you to be someone who is the exact opposite of who you are. I am someone that finds my sense of belonging through what other people say. If they want me to be a hero then I be a hero, if they need a villain then I play the villain but at this point in time...I don’t know what I am. All those closest to me are gone. You have the love of your life, you have kids and a family. You have lost a lot and still you managed to push through. I am not that strong Misty, I am not as strong as you and I probably never will be. I can feel my body dying sometimes and I thought things were going to be okay because Mark was there, he could raise our child if something happened to me but now...I just don’t know...I don’t want to fuck things up for our little boy but everything I touch in my life, leaves or is taken away and it’s so hard.”

[Misty]

“I’m not strong. And you know that. I know you see everything on the island and I know you have seen how weak I can be. You have even healed me.” She said. “Look...I can’t tell you who you are. I can’t give you an answer that will make things make sense but I can help. With Austin, with anything you need. I can help. And I won’t be someone who just agrees with whatever you say, that isn’t who I am. So if you need help while you figure all that out then I don’t mind.”

[Peter]

Hearing her offer it sounded too good to be true. “But you and Nibs have a kid on the way. You are both busy with your jobs. I can’t ask you to leave that. It would be to selfish of me to ask you to help me raise Austin wouldn’t it? I mean you have  your own kids and Nibs to take care of as well. I don’t want to be a burden to you and your family.”

[Misty]

“Nibs knows how much I love kids and he also knows I can’t say no to helping someone. That is the great thing about marrying your best friend they are well aware of the person you are. And I want to do this. So let me.”

[Peter]

“Okay. Then you can help me raise him. I...did you want to come back and see him? I couldn’t get him to stop crying this morning…it’s like he knew something was up.”

[Misty]

“Sure, do you have a house or? I mean I can’t get onto the camp so is there somewhere in the middle we could go?”

[Peter]

“I can get you into camp or give you special access since you are helping me but I had a cave where Mark and I stayed with Austin and that is where he currently is. I can take you there.”

[Misty]

Misty nodded. “Okay lead the way.” She smiled as she text Nibs that she would be running a little late.

[Peter]

Peter leads the way to the cave as he waved his hand over what seemed to be a flat piece of nothing and the cave appeared. He led her inside before hearing Austin still crying in his crib.

[Misty]

She follows him to the cave and sets her things down on the table as she heard a baby crying. She followed the sound and went over to Austin to pick him up and calm him down.

[Peter]

Peter watches as Misty goes over to comfort the baby. However, Austin was still fussy even when she picked him up and he didn’t show any signs of wanting to calm down.

[Misty]

Misty wasn’t phased as the baby kept crying and started singing softly as her hair started glowing. Hope and TJ used to cry just as much as Austin did and this always worked. And she knew the light would also calm the baby down.

[Peter]

Peter watched as Misty’s hair glowed and he was rather confused at what she was trying to do. He watched as Austin just screamed when it glowed since it seemed to have scared him. A lot of things scared the smaller and Peter had just about lost track at just how many things that Austin was scared of.

[Misty]

She soothed baby before realizing what was wrong. “Peter I need an ice cold toy. Something he can suck on.”

[Peter]

Peter went over to the toy chest and pulled out a toy before making sure it was cold and then handing it to Misty. “So then what is wrong? Why won’t he stop crying?”

[Misty]

“He’s teething.” She said handing Austin the toy and watching him suck on it. “His gums hurt so he needed something to soothe it.”

[Peter]

“He is what?” He asks in confusion not fully understanding what she meant.

[Misty]

“Oh um he is trying to chew but he doesn’t have teeth. If that makes any sense?” She said looking at him.

[Peter]

“How do you chew without teeth? That is why he drinks milk.” Peter responds in confusion.

[Misty]

“It’s...it’s hard to explain.” She laughed softly before handing Austin to Peter.

[Peter]

Peter took Austin in his arms and he held the smaller. Austin seemed pretty content as he gnawed on his toy. “I guess I should get him more cold toys then.”

[Misty]

“Yeah, normally he gets the soothing from feeding but you know you can’t do that and I could but I don’t know how you feel about that.” She smiled softly watching the two together.

[Peter]

“Uh...how would that even work. Don’t you need to save yours for when you have your baby? I mean we have milk here for him but he doesn’t always like to drink it.”

[Misty]

“It’s not like I run out.” She laughed softly. “Don’t worry I can bring some by next time I know he will like.”

[Peter]

Peter nods his head. “Okay thank you Misty.” He responds with a smile as he watches Austin continue to teeth on the toy.

[Misty]

“No problem.” She smiled back. “Is there anything else you needed?”

[Peter]

“Um not right now. Probably later though, he has a hard time getting to sleep.”

[Misty]

“I can stay? I am not really looking forward to going home so I was probably going to stay at the camp anyway.” She shrugged.

[Peter]

“Oh okay. We have a guest room that you can stay in if you want.” He responds, “I can show you there now?”

[Misty]

“Um no it’s okay, I’m just going to walk outside for a little to just sort of calm down before I get some sleep but you should be able to find me.” She said. “I will see you later tonight I guess.”

[Peter]

“Yeah okay that sounds good to me.” He responds before getting some milk out from the fridge for him to feed Austin.

Dinner [Zach x Hope x Peter Pan x Mark]

[Zach]

Zach and Hope were already waiting at the table for Peter and Mark to arrive. He was rather nervous about the whole thing since he never really went to dinner with anyone else before so he didn’t really know what to expect. “Are you sure this is a good idea?” He asks Hope.

[Hope]

Hope grabbed Zach’s hand and squeezed it reassuringly before kissing it. “Yeah, Mark just has to get to know you and everything will work out. I mean you got through dinner with my parents, this should be a cake walk.” She teased.

[Peter]

Peter wasn’t sure what to expect since the last time he did something remotely similar to something like this, he didn’t remember it ending rather well. He had faith that this would go well though and he also hoped that Mark would have a fun time at dinner. They made their way through the castle and were led to the dinner hall where Zach and Hope were waiting for them. “I assume that is them then?”

[Mark]

“Sadly.” He replied under his breath as he just nodded to Peter. “Let’s do this.” He smiled taking Peter’s hand and leading him to the table.

[Zach]

When Mark and Peter arrived, Zach stood up and bowed slightly before extending his hand for a handshake as he had been taught. “Hello, it’s nice to see you again.” He offers a sincere smile to both of them.

[Hope]

She stood up alongside Zach and smiled as she saw Mark. “Hi Mark, this is for you.” She said handing him a gift bag. “For the new baby.” She explained before offering a hand to Peter. “You must be Peter, hi I’m Hope.”

[Peter]

Peter shook Zach’s hand before shaking Hope’s. “Hello, Zach, Hope. Yes, I am Peter and I think you both already know that this is Mark. Thank you for inviting us to this dinner. I was rather surprised since no one usually asks us to have dinner.”

[Mark]

Mark shook Zach’s hand before taking the gift from Hope with a smile. “Oh thank you, you really shouldn’t have.” He replied before sitting across from the couple.

[Zach]

Zach waited for Hope to say something after they had sat down once introductions were over since he didn’t really know what they were supposed to talk about.

[Hope]

“Well we are happy to have you, we don’t get asked to have dinner either.” She responded before sitting down. “It’s no problem, me and Zach thought you would like it and it’s the least we could do.”

[Peter]

“Well in that case thank you. So, what is on the menu for tonight then?” Peter asks after pulling out the seat so that Mark could sit down first before sitting himself.

[Mark]

Mark thanked Peter before sitting down and looked at Hope, “Ah you and Zach bought this together? With your money I’m assuming.” He commented before looking at Zach. “So Zach how did you meet our princess?”

[Zach]

“Well we met at one of the ship parties.” He responds while looking at the other before turning his attention to Hope.

[Hope]

Hope frowned at Mark’s words and shook her head. “No Zach works for the castle so he is paid through that and has his own money.” She explained before feeling Zach’s eyes on her. She looked over at him and couldn’t help but smile.

[Peter]

“Ah, Hook is always notorious for his parties isn’t he.” He explains after hearing Hope explain. “I am surprised that pirates have any money at all, but I guess that somehow they find someone to trade with on this island. Maybe Sarah’s girls.”

[Mark]

“That was before you snuck out right Hope? I remember stopping by the ship to see if you were hiding there, and Zach you told some of the guards you had never met her. Was she with you?”

[Zach]

“I think you might have your facts confused. I told them that I had only seen her at a party possibly, never told them where she was and yeah I snuck her out. During those few days we spend together we got to know each other and that was when I started to fall for her.”

[Hope]

“He didn’t force me you know Mark, I chose to go with him and stay with him. It was probably the best few days of my life, I would relive them over if I could.” She defended Zach.

[Peter]

Peter could see that the environment was getting rather heated and he wasn’t really sure what to do about it. “Okay…well how has the newest edition been to your family? Mark told me that you and Zach have a baby named Emmett. How is he doing?”

[Mark]

“You know Hope when someone locks you in a room most people wouldn’t want to relive that. It’s called kidnapping and normally when the victim falls in love as you say you did that’s called Stockholm syndrome. You might want to look into that.”

[Zach]

“I didn’t kidnap her, I asked her if she wanted to stay in her room or come with me and clearly you weren’t helping her to get out of her punishment so I took the liberty to do so.” He explains before leaning over to Hope. “I thought you said this was going to go smoothly?”

[Hope]

Hope ignored Zach as she glared at Mark, “What is your problem? Zach has done nothing but loved me in ways you always said I deserved, so I finally find a man that loves me and wants to be with me and you aren’t happy for me? So he’s not a siren or a shifter or royalty but he loves me, is that not enough for you?”

[Peter]

“Oh boy…” Peter said mostly to himself as he knew things were going to escalate much quicker than they should be. He was rather glad when the food was brought out as he hoped that it would help to ease some of the tension.

[Mark]

Mark rolled his eyes at Hope’s response. “What love Hope? You are the daughter of two people who are the definition of what love is and you think what you have between you and Zach is love? It’s infatuation at the most. I am not going to support this regardless of what he is because I could care less. What I care about is that you are in a situation you will get hurt in.”

[Zach]

“Okay hold on, right there. What is your deal? Who are you to tell her what or how she feels? You aren’t her so you don’t have any business doing or telling her what to do, you aren’t her father. I already got her father’s approval so I don’t really understand why this is something that is necessary anymore. It’s great that you care less honestly I don’t even care about you, but I agreed to meet you tonight because Hope asked me to because it means so much to her. The moment you walked in here you were judging me just like everyone else. You look up to Nibs and Misty so much why don’t you take their advice and give people a chance before you start making harsh judgements and think you know everything about their life.”

[Hope]

Hope listened to Zach’s response to Mark and nodded, “I wouldn’t have put Zach through this if this was how you were going to behave. You mean a lot to me Mark but don’t make me pick between you and Zach because I will pick him. I will always pick him.”

[Peter]

Peter just stayed quiet as he started to pick out some food to eat. It had been so long since he last ate so he figured they needed to work out this problem on their own without his help.

[Mark]

“Do you realize I used to date Hook Zach? I know a lot more about you then Nibs and Misty do and Hope hasn’t told her parents what she has told me. So before you act like you have some sort of in with her parents how about you ask them if they know you prepared her for what Jack was going to do to her. Do you think they give a fuck that you were trying to have her ready? They would rather you have told Jack to fuck off and protected her. And I know Nibs and he wouldn’t have given a shit but because I care about Hope and my friends have lost their children, I’m not telling them that shit.” He said to Zach before looking at Hope. “By all means Hope pick him. I would love to see if he can protect you the way I can. How about you see if can stop Riley from releasing that video?”

[Zach]

“Actually, Nibs already saw all my memories already so yeah he does know about that but he also knows that I am her imprint so he knows I won’t do anything to hurt her, not anymore.” He stops when he hears Mark’s last words. “What? Tape of what? What are you talking about?”

[Hope]

“Wait my dad knows? Why didn’t you tell me you told him?” She asked Zach before hearing Mark’s final words. “Mark don’t, you told me you never mention that. It isn’t your business to tell.” She said.

[Peter]

Peter’s ears perked up when Mark mentioned the tape. “The tape? Oh…you mean that tape. Yeah that was rather careless of him wasn’t it. I wonder what he made you do to get that away from him, he probably has a copy of it somewhere that he didn’t tell you about. I think Hook should teach his pirates about consent.”

[Mark]

“The fact that you are alive proves that you didn’t tell Nibs. Nibs would have done everything in his power to get you away from his daughter. He doesn’t let anyone fuck with his family.” He replied before shaking his head. “Riley has nothing left I burned everything. And I have never said shit but if you love him, he should know.”

[Zach]

“I am her imprint, he can’t kill me even if he wanted to unless he wanted his daughter dead and his grandson parentless. Yeah and I am supposed to believe that you left Riley nothing yet you have it in your possession? Yeah okay bullshit, what tape are you talking about? You act as if it’s like some sex tape or some shit. If Hope did anything like that she would have told me because she is always honest with me. She promised me that after she imprinted on me she never did things like that so I think you are just spewing bullshit just to fuck with me.”

[Hope]

She sighed as ran a hand through her hair. “It was before Zach. When I slept with Riley, he filmed it and I didn’t know until he threatened to release it. That tape doesn’t just ruin my life but it would push the royals over the edge so I knew for my parents I had to get Mark to deal with it. He promised never to mention it again and I wasn’t going to, but it wasn’t after I imprinted. I wouldn’t do that. I just never wanted to tell you.”

[Peter]

Peter was too busy stuffing his face with some food as the others argued about everything. Dinners were sure more interesting than he had originally thought they would be.

[Mark]

Mark stayed quiet as he let Hope talk for a minute.

[Zach]

Zach listens to her words as he looks to Hope. “So he did that without your consent? See I don’t understand why you hang out with that asshole after all the crap he puts you through. That means that Mark needs to delete it, why do you even have a copy? That sounds really weird….you should destroy it. If it was before you met me and before the imprint then it really doesn’t matter.”

[Hope]

“No baby…it was when I cheated on you. He filmed it and he was saying that he would make it seem like he’s our son’s father. That’s why…I just didn’t want to involve you this. I didn’t want you to think about that at all. I made a stupid mistake. I don’t want to punish you for that.”

[Peter]

All of this was really boring to Peter, drama which he had already seen time and time again on the island. “Don’t be too offended Zach, not a lot of people can keep it in their pants on this island regardless of if they are in a relationship. Some people just don’t care if they are with another person, Riley being one of them so you shouldn’t take it personally.”

[Mark]

“I have it because I have to keep all of that. Sadly for you I can’t delete because it’s the only unedited version there is, if he does have one left I have to make sure that I can confirm it’s not the real one.”

[Zach]

“Or you could just have your boyfriend snap away all the evidence of those damn videos. Surely you use this magic for things like that don’t you? I mean you did that when you brought Finn back after Nibs killed him.”

[Hope]

Hope grabbed Zach’s hand and squeezed it, “Baby calm down.” She said not wanting to piss off Peter. “Mark will never release it and Riley won’t either. Mark scared Riley away he won’t do anything and if I need to I will tell my father. It’s okay.”

[Peter]

Hearing Zach’s words, he was a little surprised at how blunt Zach was about it. “I mean yeah I can…and I can also make it reappear if needed. I can do a lot of things but that doesn’t mean I will do them.” He explains before finishing up his food. “The food was really good I am surprised no one else had any.”

[Mark]

“I’ve lost my appetite.” He replied to Peter. “You know actually Hope I will release it. You two either break up or I will release this and you know this has more consequences for Nibs and Misty then it does for you. So chose wisely.”

[Zach]

“You know that would just cause more problems for your boyfriend since Nibs and Misty would go to Peter right? Besides, I am sure that they could just say that Riley found some random girl that looked like Hope or that he used magic to convince everyone it was Hope just so that you could get back at the royal family for something right? Besides, tapes like that get ruined all the time so you can’t know for sure it is even still good to watch unless you have been constantly watching it to ensure nothing happened to it.”

[Hope]

“I’m not breaking up with him Mark. I just can’t. I love him regardless if you release it or not…I don’t care. I will always love Zach.” She knew that if he truly released those tapes her life would be over and she would have to make sure that Emmett never saw it and that Zach didn’t either.

[Peter]

“That is true they would come to me for help. That is a whole lot of stuff that I don’t want to have to deal with to be completely honest.” Peter explains. “Are you sure I can’t just delete and get rid of it for good? I think that might solve things a lot quicker here.”

[Mark]

“No Peter you aren’t going to get involved at all. To help them or to delete anything. Hope picked.” Mark stood up. “You have chosen and if you love him then you made the best decision for you but I will not stand by for this. Let’s go Peter.”

[Zach]

“If you actually care about Hope, damn you have a really fucked up way of showing it. If you really cared about her, you would let her learn about things on her own and experience them for herself instead of trying to take on the role of her father and doing that for her. You have been gone for practically all the shit that happened and I was one of the ones that helped clean it all up and took care of her and our kid as well as her parents. You want me to tell Nibs and MIsty about my past fine. I will do that and you can be there, just destroy the tape and make sure Peter is sure there are no more tapes out there. If her parents tell me to leave after learning about what I did then I will but that is not up to you to decide.”

[Hope]

“Zach no what are you talking about? We aren’t doing that. I can’t tell them. You aren’t the same person and I refuse to let them judge you for what you did. I made you do it. I told you I was fine and I am, but they…they won’t understand. Just let him do what he wants. People are just going to say I’m a slut, nothing new. My parents will figure it out but we are not telling them.”

[Peter] “Oh Mark, you know how much I really love when people want to make deals…especially one like this.”

[Mark]

“Peter I said no, let’s go.” Mark said looking at his boyfriend and grabbing the boy’s hand so they can leave.

[Zach]

“Mark wait, I am serious.” He responds before turning to Hope. “It will be fine. I know that I am not the same person but Mark is right, I can’t just ignore my past as much as I would like to. I am not the same person I used to be but I should be judged for my past actions. If Mark watching and seeing me be judged for my past actions will keep him from releasing something that would destroy your family then I will do it. Your family has been through enough Hope. If I am able to do something that can help keep them safe then you need to let me do it.”

“You asked me what I was willing to do for you and your family to prove my loyalty and prove that I love you without having to have all of those powers and abilities that your family has. This is it, this is how I can help keep your family safe. Your father might throw me around but he won’t kill me. If Mark wants to see me rot in a dungeon for what I have done then fine but I will not let my family suffer the consequences of something you did in the past. You have changed too Hope. You aren’t a slut and you aren’t what all those people call you, I will not give them more reasons to degrade and treat you like shit just so that they can feel better about themselves. We have a son and our family. If I can do something to keep them safe then I will. You have done so much for me, please, just let me do this for you.”

[Hope]

Her eyes flashed blue as she shook her head. “Please don’t do this Zach. You don’t have to prove anything to me, I know you love me and our family. Please don’t do this I am begging you to just forget it and come to our room and we can leave. My parents can disown me and they won’t have to deal with the repercussions of my decisions. Zach I am asking you to forget this and don’t do something that will have you taken away from me.” She begged feeling tears in her eyes as she looked at him. “Zach please.”

[Peter]

Peter took Mark’s hand and stopped Mark from leaving, seeming as he wanted Mark to hear what Zach was saying. Maybe it would change the other’s mind about everything that was happening, maybe it wouldn’t but he felt like it was important enough for Mark to hear.

[Mark]

Mark looked at Peter before hearing Zach’s words. “Tell Nibs and Misty or I release it. Peter let’s go I’m done talking.”

[Zach]

“I want you to promise me Mark. Promise me that if I tell them you will destroy that video and you will ensure any other videos that anyone ever made with her in it like that will be destroyed. Promise me this and I will tell them. You can even be there if you want to…just give me a day so that I can be with my family properly before I get locked up. Okay?” Zach tries to ignore Hope’s pleas since they were bringing tears to his eyes as he tried to stay strong.

[Hope]

She could see that Zach was ignoring her and she shook her head as she stood up, “Fuck you Zach.” She said unable to stop herself from crying as she left the dining room.

[Peter]

“Are you really sure telling Nibs is going to fix anything? You know how Nibs and Misty feel about love and they know how much Hope loves Zach. Unless she says otherwise, they won’t do much so you releasing the tape and sabotaging them would be all for nothing.”

[Mark]

“Nibs might forgive him but I know Misty won’t, not with all she’s been through.” He replied before looking at Zach. “I promise.”

[Zach]

Hearing Hope’s words, he watched as she stormed out. He extended his hand to Mark to seal the deal. “Then we have a deal.”

[Hope]

Hope went straight to her room and locked the door as she sat on her bed and just cried. She knew once Zach told her parents the truth everything they worked so hard for to build for their family it will all be for nothing.

[Mark]

“We have a deal. One day, then we tell them and I have Peter delete everything.” Mark replies shaking Zach’s hand. “Are you ready to go Peter?”

[Peter]

Peter nodded his head. “Let’s go. I think we both had enough socializing for one day.” He explains while standing up and taking Mark’s hand as they both left.

Mark got off the phone with Hope and sighed as he rolled his eyes. “Peter?” He called out before looking around the cave and seeing his boyfriend. “Hey baby do you want to go to dinner with me?”

[Peter]

“Yes babe?” He turns his attention to Mark before hearing the question. “Dinner with who? Where?”

[Mark]

“Hope and her plaything for the week, and at the castle.” He answered hoping Peter would say no so he can tell her no.

[Peter]

“Sure, I don’t see why not. Besides it’s been a while since I have been near that castle and we haven’t gone out with other people yet so...I think that would be a great idea.”

[Mark]

“Oh great...yeah, this will be so much fun.” He gives Peter a small smile as he sent Hope a text and sat beside him.

[Peter]

“You don’t seem to thrilled about it. Is there something the matter?” Peter asks while sensing that something was off.

[Mark]

“Nope I’m fine. I am super excited.” He replied sighing. “How was your day?”

[Peter]

Peter clicks his tongue, “The way you just sighed...I know that is not saying everything is fine. Come on you can tell me about it.” He responds while pulling Mark onto his lap and kissing his head.

[Mark]

“It’s fine really it is. I just am not a fan of Hope’s boyfriend. I think she can do better and should do better. But I’m not her dad or her mom, if they are fine with it then I have nothing to say about the situation.”

[Peter]

“Hope’s boyfriend. That’s the pirate boy that used to work for Jack? I can see why you don’t approve. But I am sure not a lot of the sirens approve of me being with you either but we all see how that turned out.” He jokes lightly. “She will just have to learn the hard way about things, you know? You can’t always protect everyone, believe me, I know.”

[Mark]

“You weren’t raised by Jack, and after putting a shifter on the throne I don’t think people care much about what I’m doing. I’m not royal. My actions only affect the people I work for. Nibs, Misty and their family. Unless you are hurting them in some way then I think I’m good.” He replied.

[Peter]

“Yeah I don’t think that I have done anything to their kingdom. It’s nice that Misty and Nibs have created an alliance between the kingdoms though. I never really did like when the island went to war all the time. So much lost, so much pain, so many overwhelming requests. I think it would be nice to be rid of Ombra but I think that would only happen if the entire island was somehow at peace with each other since it thrives on chaos.”

[Mark]

“One day maybe, who knows.” He shrugged. “I am proud of them as well but I think they forget they aren’t lost boys and girls anymore, they run a kingdom that is heavily dependent on them and one wrong move can lose all the people’s trust and they have been very close to that happening more than once. They just need to be more careful. Especially because it’s not just them anymore.”

[Peter] “That is true, but everything learns from their mistakes don’t you think? There isn’t one person on this island that is completely perfect. It’s hard to take into account everyone all the time, but there are ways that that can happen through compromise.” He explains.

[Mark]

“It’s different for us, sirens and mermaids have been through so much with Úrsula and having to come to land. If they don’t trust the royal family all hell will break loose. We are people that need leadership and while it can be a lot of pressure it’s the truth.”

[Peter]

“Ah that sounds like that can be bothersome at times. They expect perfection and that is just not something that is really achievable.” He explains while looking at the other.

[Mark]

“That’s why years of training are involved. It can be hard but it’s been one family this whole time. Misty’s family has been prepared for this, due to circumstances she wasn’t and neither was Nibs but they are doing well...I know they can do this. I just hope their kids can.”

[Peter]

“I am sure if they have the same aspirations and hard driven mindset that their parents do then they will turn out just fine.” He reassures the other. “They are going through training right? The kids? So they should be fine. You just have to have faith and believe in them you know? Kids can sense that kind of thing.”

[Mark]

“Hope stopped going so mostly it’s just TJ but I heard Stiles might be joining a few classes. So I mean I don’t blame Misty or Nibs, they are raising children in a world they didn’t grow up in. They are doing their best.”

[Peter]

“Yeah that is true, it can be rather hard to adjust to everything.” He explains knowing that he had seen that before on the island each time someone was brought there.

[Mark]

“That is true.” He sighed resting against Peter.

[Peter]

“What would you like for dinner tonight hm? I was thinking of making us some food.”

[Mark]

“Whatever you want baby.” He smiled kissing the boy’s lips. “I’ll see you after my shower.”

[Peter]

“What you aren’t going to ask me to join you in the shower?” He teases while bringing the other back to kiss him once more.  

[Mark]

Mark laughed softly as he kissed the other again. “You are a smart boy I figured you would know that was an invitation to surprise me by coming to shower with me.”

[Peter]

“I like to have formal invitations you know that. Besides, you know that once you start moaning my name I would appear in front of you with my clothes on and we both know that having my clothes on in the shower would be completely pointless.” He smiles while getting up and following Mark to the shower.

[Mark]

He rolled his eyes playfully at the other’s response. “You know that I’m pregnant so I would like to have you whenever I can. I shouldn’t have to invite you. But you are pretty cute when you get all pouty.”

[Peter]

“Still, I much rather be invited instead of show up unannounced, you would be surprised at the things I have seen when I have been called before and when I haven’t been called.” He explains with a small laugh before taking Mark’s hand and leading him to the bathroom before starting up the water for the shower.

[Mark]

“Did you have sex with someone when they called you?” Mark wanted to know just because the pair had never spoken about stuff like this.

[Peter]

“No, I have not done that before but people have tried to summon me for that kind of thing. Those are my least favorite calls that I have had to attend and deal with. But if you were to do that...I wouldn’t mind it.” Peter teases.

[Mark]

“You never did it with Sarah? I know your twos history and you never talk about her or your child with her...are you hiding something from me?”

[Peter]

“No, I mean that was on the mainland I never did that here with her.” He responds while looking at the other. “If you have questions for me then you can ask me about them I don’t mind answering them.”

[Mark]

“No I was just curious. You are going to have another child and you’ve never mentioned wanting to introduce them to your son. So I was just wondering if there’s a reason for that.”

[Peter]

“Ah, Curly. He has been rather busy lately. It’s weird because most of the time I can feel people on the island right? I have not been able to feel where certain people are. Jacob is one of those people. I have no idea where he went and I know that Curly has been searching the island to find Jacob.”

[Mark]

“Ah I see, so that’s why you don’t talk about him? I just want to make sure there aren’t any secrets between us. My family is dead so I can’t introduce you to any of them and the people I consider family you already know, I guess except Noah but I don’t know where he is half the time.”

[Peter]

“You know I will be honest with you if you ask me what you want to know. That is one of the reasons why I don’t talk about him. I suppose you could go looking for him but I can’t guarantee what condition he might be in. Well I know Noah recently got back from Echo Caves, I don’t know why he was in there for so long but I know he is back home now.”

[Mark]

“No I think that’d be a little strange to meet him now. Maybe when we weren’t expecting a child that would be different but I don’t want to meet him and him think ill of me. It’s the same reason I told Misty not to tell people she was pregnant when her and Nibs were just dating, it doesn’t send the best message.” He replied.

[Peter]

“That is very true, but what about once the baby is born. What are you going to tell people? Or are you going to keep them hidden?” He tests the water before offering to help Mark into the shower. “What kind of soap should we use? I know I got a bunch of different scents since I didn’t know if you wanted to smell a particular one.”

[Mark]

“I don’t see why I wouldn’t tell them. It’s not like people don’t already know. And hiding them would mean I was ashamed of them and I’m not so no I don’t plan on doing that.” He answered before getting the shower. “I’m fine with whatever you choose.”

[Peter]

“So then you aren’t concerned about your image like Nibs and Misty were?” He asks before choosing one of the soaps and putting it on the side of the tub before stripping and joining Mark in the shower.

[Mark]

“Nibs and Misty are royals, and at that time Misty was carrying a shifters child and I knew that the pregnancy wasn’t going to end well so I told her not to tell anyone because of that as well. Of course I didn’t tell her that, but when it comes to them things that seems small to us are huge for them. It is my job to give them the best image possible but with them constantly fighting and Misty leaving to sleep in different rooms they make it very hard for me.”

[Peter]

“Yeah I can see how that could be a problem from time to time.” He explains, “Wouldn’t you think that each of them should have someone to manage them instead of just you doing that?” Peter takes the loofa and puts some soap on it before starting to wash the other.

[Mark]

“I don’t know Misty barely trusts me as it is so I think it’s best that I just do it. And if she were to ever truly leave Nibs she knows that I would open my home to her and her family. She like my sister and I am the only one besides Noah that was raised in that environment. Shifters don’t understand what we do. So it’s best it be me.”

[Peter]

“That is true but are there not any more sirens at the castle that she is close to? Surely there is someone there that she can talk to right?” Peter seems rather confused at that.

[Mark]

“Who? I would say Noah but Nibs hates Noah and Noah hates Nibs so I can’t see any advice Noah gives her to be good. And then there’s me.”

[Peter]

“She really doesn’t have anyone else she can talk to? What about Jay or Tootles? She can talk to Cameron, there are really many options Mark.” He lets out a small laugh as he kisses the male’s neck before washing it as well.

[Mark]

“Yeah because all those people came to see her when she lost her children.” He replied before looking at him.

[Peter]

“Cameron and Noah have lost kids before. Cameron could have talked to her about all that. His brothers and sisters were killed by a monster too you know.”

[Mark]

“Yeah but he didn’t. So what am I supposed to do, leave her and hope someone comes and makes sure she never tries to kill herself.”

[Peter]

“No, you don’t have to do that necessarily, I am sure that Nibs was there for her after all it is both of their children so it would only make sense to give them that privacy.”

[Mark]

“But he wasn’t, I mean he was there but not fully. Jack fucked with his memory so he didn’t even get to remember his kids before they were taken from him. And now he has to live with that guilt and know that Misty was dealing with it too. I feel bad because Nibs is constantly trying to take care of her so I help, but I can’t trust that Jay, Tootles, or even Cameron will be there when she needs them. And if I can’t trust them then Nibs won’t.”

[Peter]

“That is true, that is quite the predicament isn’t it? Well, trust is something that is built over time. So maybe in time, they can find a way to trust someone. I just don’t want you to have to always fix their problems, I understand that it is your job but we do have a child on the way and that is going to be our priority.”

[Mark]

“Of course. Our family and my job are the most important things in the world to me but you two will always be first in my life. You just have to understand my job is apart of who I am as well.”

[Peter]

“I understand that just as you understand my job and what it consists of as well.” He explains before gesturing for the male to rinse off. “Also, do you know how many more days until the little one is due? Did we want to know the gender?”

[Mark]

“My job doesn’t include me getting sick Peter. Yours does. I love you so much and I want you in my life, not dead. I don’t want to have to tell our child that you aren’t around because you got incredibly sick. Have you thought about asking Misty to heal you? I know she would.” Mark asked letting the water rinse off all the soap. “I believe a week. I told the doctor I didn’t want to know the gender but it’s in an envelope on the dresser by the bed if you do.”

[Peter]

“A week? Already? Damn okay and I don’t want to ask her to heal me. She already has healed enough people besides, that is supposed to be my job. Healing people. You know if Ombra wanted me dead it would have done so by now.” He explains. “It won’t let me die. This island needs me. It needs me as bad as that sounds.”

[Mark]

“It’s her job too, she literally has that power for a reason. So you rather die and leave me and our child alone then just go ask her for help? Ombra doesn’t need you Peter, he can find someone else and use them, he probably already has and is waiting for your body to just give up but you don’t care about that. You just want to believe you are invincible.”

[Peter]

“I can’t die I already told you this? I am directly linked to this island Mark you can’t just have someone else become linked there is a whole process and stuff it’s long, annoying and just…no one else can make it through that process. I know because I made it so that no one else would have to do it.”

[Mark]

“I love you. Why don’t you just ask for help? I can’t lose you. I can’t.” Mark said ignoring the water hitting his face. “I don’t understand why you are choosing to leave me every time you go to the mainland and possibly not come back.”

[Peter]

“I don’t know how am I supposed to ask for help? You are the reason I always come back. Every time I go to the mainland I am thinking that I need to make it back for you and our child. There is no way I would just leave you all to be by yourself.”

[Mark]

“I know it’s getting harder for you. Every time you leave it gets harder...I know that.” He sighed before shaking his head dropping the subject. “What was it like? With Sarah on the mainland...why did you sleep with her? You bring so many people here why her?”

[Peter]

Peter was rather taken off guard about the question about Sarah. “What? It was a one night stand last I remember...her father used to abuse her and almost beat her to the point where she miscarried. I brought her here because if I didn’t she would have died. You know I have a pretty big heart when it comes to things like that. Hell, I even broke my own rule and brought Dylan here when he was really young because he almost got beaten to death.”

[Mark]

“No I mean why did you sleep with her? There had to be a reason. You bring everyone here and she is the only one you slept with, why? I’m just curious.” He asked.

[Peter]

“I was young and we were just experimenting is all. Think of it as the same thing you did with Noah on the island. Just testing the waters. That’s what we were.”

[Mark]

“No I liked Noah when I was younger, it was more than just a one night thing Peter. There were feelings involved and everyone I have slept with feelings have been involved. It’s okay to say you liked her, I just want to know the truth so I’m prepared is all.”

[Peter]

“It was really long ago Mark, I tried to put that out of my mind. Yeah, I cared for her at some point but those feelings and whatever we had are long gone by now.” He responds. “I thought you didn’t have feelings involved when it came to Nibs?” Peter asks out of curiosity.

[Mark]

“I was attracted to him and you still care about her if you brought her to the island and share a family together. If Nibs never married Misty I would have never hung out with him again.”

[Peter]

“We might share a son but I never talk to him. He is much too busy trying to find Jacob. Even I can’t find Jacob...Sarah has the girls to worry about so I am not to worried about her. I care for everyone I bring to the island, just because we share a kid doesn’t mean that I still want her Mark.”

[Mark]

“I’m not saying that, but what if I am exactly like her? I have our son and then you move on? Are you never going to see me again or talk to our son? Are you just going to say we share a kid and that’s it?” He asked looking at Peter.

[Peter]

Peter shook his head as he took Mark’s hand. “No of course I am not going to move on. Our situation is different than what the situation was with Sarah and I in the past. Her and I have a complicated past. You aren’t like her at all Mark believe me when I say that okay?” He lets his hands rest against Mark’s cheeks before kissing the other.

[Mark]

Mark nodded as he kissed Peter back. “Okay I believe you. It’s just that I never wanted a kid before and now I want all these things with you and if for some reason if it doesn’t work out I don’t want our child to be penalized or for us to just stop talking. I care deeply for you and whether I’m with you or not, I will still care.”

[Peter]

“I will always care about you Mark and I promised you that I was going to be there for both you and our child. Nothing is going to keep me from that.” He reassures the other.

[Mark]

He nodded again. “I know...I know. I’m sorry. It’s this pregnancy, it’s a lot.” He shrugged giving the other a smile.

[Peter]

“You have nothing to be sorry about. It is okay, I will reassure you as many times as you need me to.” He smiles before kissing Mark once more.

[Mark]

Mark kissed Peter again before nodding, “Okay. Thanks.” He smiled softly. “We should get out of this shower before we turn to prunes.”

[Peter]

Peter had completely forgotten that they were even in the shower. “Oh right...prunes. Well I know you won’t turn into a prune. If anything I think your tail might come out but me? Yeah I think I want to not be a prune.”

[Mark]

The siren laughed as he nodded, “Okay let’s go then.” He said turning off the shower and handing the boy a towel before wrapping his own around him.

[Peter]

Peter wrapped the towel around his waist before stepping out of the shower after turning the water off. “Have you given any thought to baby names yet?” He asks curiously.

[Mark]

He thought about it as he headed to the bedroom and shook his head, “Not really, I guess I should start thinking about it. Aren’t you the one that comes up with all the lost boy nicknames?”

[Peter]

“I do come up with their names but that is after observing them for a while. Sometimes they pick their own names but most of the time it is reflective of their personality.” He responds. “Would you want a boy or a girl?”

[Mark]

“A boy, what about you?” Mark asked as he started to get dressed. “Maybe when we see him the name will come to us? Or her.”

[Peter]

“I would like a boy too but I am happy with whatever it is that we have.” Peter dressed himself too. “Are you ready for dinner?”

[Mark]

Mark nodded as he took Peter’s hand, “Yes I am, let’s go eat.”

Arriving in Neverland [Peter x Rosaline]

[Peter]

Peter was sent to the real world to gather more recruits. Ombra gave him the magical pipes and told him of its abilities. Peter had no real choice, the Ombra had his shadow and therefore controlled Peter’s life. The Ombra had Pan’s shadow drop him off at a campsite. Peter brought the pipes to his lips and started to play a song around the fire and waited for those unfortunate souls that would hear the music.

[Rosaline]

Rosaline sat on her rooftop realizing she couldn’t end her life, who’d take care of her mom when she was no longer around? As she sat and contemplated her decision, she heard a musical noise from the woods directly beside her house. She lifted her head up towards the woods and stared for a split second before getting up and getting off her roof.

[peter]

He knew that he was growing weaker the longer he was away from the island but the shadow wanted one more soul to be brought to the island. It wouldn’t stop until Peter did and he wouldn’t be able to return home if he didn’t either. He turned to the side and coughed up some blood before returning to playing the pipes hoping that someone would come by.

[Rosaline]

After walking for a short period of time, Rosaline came upon a young male on his side playing pipes. She didn’t know why she followed it, but she just knew that she had to. She got closer to the male but kept a few feet between them, “Are you okay?” she asked noticing the blood.

[peter]

Once he saw someone emerging at his location, he had done his best to hide the blood. “I will be soon.” He smirked before calling upon the shadow to take her to Neverland. It swooped down and picked her up before dropping her and Peter both on the island.

[Rosaline]

Rosaline had no time to react, she barely had time to think before she was picked up and taken to an island with the mysterious male. When they were both dropped off on the sand, the first thing she did was stand up and look around her. “Where are we?” Rosaline turned and looked at the boy. “And who are you?”

[peter]

Peter wiped the blood from his lip before standing up. “You are in Neverland.” He responds while leaning up against a tree. “Find Sarah. She can help you. I-I need to go.” He wheezed before starting to head in the direction of lost boy’s camp.

[Rosaline]

Rosaline watched him struggle off into the distance before turning around and starting her own adventure. The name of the girl he mentioned, Sarah, is sticking out to her like a sore thumb. She was on a mission to find her.

Telling Peter the News [Mark x Peter]

Mark had been calling his boyfriend all day and once he knew Peter wasn’t coming he knew exactly where the boy was and was pissed, which wasn’t exactly great since he had to tell Peter something that would greatly affect their relationship. Sitting on the bed he just stayed silent as he waited for Peter.

[Peter]

Peter had been recovering from his last trip to the mainland and he had not even heard anyone calling his name. His body was slowly recovering thanks to the magic of the island and when he felt someone sitting on his bed his eyes fluttered open. Seeing Mark sitting there, he knew he was going to be in trouble with the boy but he stayed quiet.

[Mark]

“Did you have a fun trip Peter?” The siren asked as he could tell the boy was awake.

[Peter]

“Not particularly no. It took longer than I thought to bring the person to the island. If it wasn’t for my shadow I probably wouldn’t have made it back.” He responds honestly. “But enough about me, how are you?”

[Mark]

“How do you think I am? I told you not to do that anymore and here you are in pain, I can’t handle this especially not now.” He replied sighing as he ran his hands through his hair.

[Peter]

“Look I told you, I don’t have any control over where and when I go to the mainland. The Ombra controls that for me and it nearly got me killed. What are you talking about? I will be fine. The magic is healing me and soon enough I will be back to myself.”

[Mark]

“And you want a family, what if our child sees you before the magic heals you. What are you going to do? I understand that you have no control, but I will be working and if you are going back and forth to the mainland who will watch our kid? We have to think about stuff like this.”

[Peter]

“Watch our kid? What are you talking ab-” Peter took a few moments to adjust himself as he sat up in his bed. “Are you saying that you are pregnant?” He asks while his eyebrows furrowed together trying to put together the pieces. “Since when?”

[Mark]

“Since you fucked me outside of Misty’s tent. And I didn’t want to tell you like this but you’ve pissed me off so this is what you are getting.” The boy replied huffing.

[Peter]

“I don’t know what to say to that honestly. I mean I am happy and excited but I am also worried because you know as well as I do that if Ombra were to find out about our child...things wouldn’t go over very well. Plus if you are pregnant that means you shouldn’t be working as royal guard anymore. That might put both you and the baby in danger.” Peter explains.

[Mark]

“I’m not quitting my job. You are in just as much danger as I am and I don’t see you saying no to going to the mainland. I can take it easy but I’m not quitting.” Mark replied looking at Peter. “I know that. It’s why I haven’t told you but I’m starting to have morning sickness so you would have found out eventually.”

[Peter]

“I am also not the one carrying the child.” He responds with a small smile. “That is true I would have found out eventually. I had always imagined this going differently. For one I figured we would have been married before having any children but that is fine we can make do, if of course you would want to be married. I don’t know how far you and Hook got with your relationship or how any of that might have transpired but what are your thoughts on all of this? I can try to keep Ombra from taking me to the mainland but if I don’t go, there will always be a price to pay.”

[Mark]

Mark sighed as he never particularly wanted to have this conversation with Peter but now he sort of had to. “Hook wanted to get married and I said that’s what I wanted to. He wanted to adopt and I didn’t see anything wrong with that idea.” He explained. “You know I love you and marriage is definitely something I think about with us, I just don’t know if we are ready. I mean we just moved in with each other and I’m barely ever here and we don’t see each other as much as we could.”

[Peter]

“So then you were that deeply invested with Hook...I never knew you wanted to marry him. You know….are you sure we are ready for a kid? I mean you pointed out that we did just move in with each other so are you sure you want this? I don’t want you to feel forced into having a kid. I will be happy with whatever you decide.”

[Mark]

“Of course I want this. Peter I felt for Hook like you felt for Fox. It’s no different, so if you want me to believe you’ve moved on you have to believe I have too.” He said. “Well yeah we aren’t ready for this, but we have people around us that will help. So we can do this. If you want to.”

[Peter]

“Of course I want to do this but I don’t want you to get too overwhelmed with everything that has been going on since I know you have been rather busy lately too. We haven’t had much time to see each other you are right but with a baby on the way, I want to be able to change that and be able to spend more time with you. I don’t want to be some deadbeat father who isn’t around to raise their kid.”

[Mark]

“Baby my fear isn’t that you will be a deadbeat dad. I know you will be here for me and our child. And Zach said he would look after Misty and Nibs until they get their memories back, and while I strongly dislike him, I do know he would never hurt Hope or cause her pain. So I can stay home until the baby is born.” He suggested..

[Peter]

“So then you can stay here with me?” Peter smiled at the thought of being able to spend more time with Mark. “I have missed seeing you around you know.” He responds while pulling Mark onto his lap and giving the other a kiss.

[Mark]

Mark felt Peter putting him on his lap and smiled as he kissed the boy back. “Of course I will stay. I will get to see you everyday and that sounds amazing.” He said with a smile. “I love you.”

[Peter]

Peter could feel his heart flutter at Mark’s words. “I love you too. What would you like to do today hmm? If it's our first time being able to actually do something together let's figure something fun out.”

[Mark]

“Mhm I don’t know. I could just stay here in your arms. It’s been so long since I’ve been able to do that.”

[Peter]

“I don’t mind you staying in my arms all day. It’s been a while since it has been just us. Should I make us some dinner tonight?” He asks with a smile.

[Mark]

Mark nodded. “I’d like that.”

[Peter]

“Okay, what is your favorite dish to eat then? I can cook us a full meal including dessert. I also know of a really nice spring that is very relaxing on the back.”

[Mark]

“I’m cool with whatever, I probably won’t be able to keep any of it down anyway.” He sighs letting himself relax in Peter’s arms.

[Peter]

“That is why you get a little at a time to make sure it stays down or I could always offer some magic to help with the morning sickness as well.” He offers up while kissing the side of Mark’s head.

[Mark]

He smiled softly, “The morning sickness is the only reason I’m taking a break from working. If you heal me I’ll only go back to work.”

[Peter]

“Yeah, okay morning sickness it is!” Peter responds with a small laugh. “Did you want to watch movies or something? I mean I know you won’t be able to be on your feet much so I don’t want you to get too bored around here. And if you are tired you could always nap too.”

[Mark]

“As long as I’m with you I can never get bored, but cuddling with you and taking a nap does sound really good.”

[Peter]

“Nap it is then.” Peter smiles before shifting his body so that they were both in a more comfortable position. He kisses the other before spooning Mark. “Good nap baby. Sleep well.”

[Mark]

Mark kissed Peter back as he looked at the other, “Please promise me that you’ll stop, at least for a while. Don’t scare me like that ever again. I need you Peter. So no mainland.”

[Peter]

“I think that Ombra should be satisfied by this point, hopefully I won’t have to make another trip to the mainland. I will try to convince it to stay but I can’t make any promises. Here.” He snaps his fingers and conjures up a bracelet, “This can be used to help keep yourself and the baby hidden from Ombra. Please never take it off.”

[Mark]

He understood that Peter couldn’t promise him but he surely hoped the boy would at least try. Taking the bracelet he nodded as he put it on. “I won’t.”

[Peter]

“Good, now, how about we nap and then we can discuss anything else once we wake up.” He smiles while watching Mark put the bracelet on.

[Mark]

The siren nodded and rested his head against Peter’s chest before falling asleep.

[Peter]

The male watches as Mark falls asleep before doing the same.

Mark stepped out of the shower and ran his hand through his wet hair, shaking it out as the water dropped down his body. He walked into the bedroom and looked for something to wear.

[Peter]

Peter was rather bored and he hasn't seen Mark in a while. He figured that maybe he could wait for Mark back at the castle. Seeing the other emerging from the bathroom, Peter smiled, “Hey, I take it you finished up your work for the day.”

[Mark]

The siren heard Peter’s voice and smiled as he saw him. “Hey, yeah I did.” The male nodded moving as he walked over to the other and kissed him softly. “How have you been?”

[Peter]

“I have been doing pretty good, but I have missed seeing you around. I never see you anymore seeming as you are so busy all the time.” He responds while looking at the other with a pout.

[Mark]

“Yeah I know but Misty and Nibs seem to be in a good place and as long as that’s happening and Nibs is taking care of her, I am all yours.” Mark said with a smile kissing away the boy’s pout.

[Peter]

Peter pulled the boy closer to him as he smirked, “Well it's about time that they got to a good place.” He smiles, so then….we can do more now right?”

[Mark]

“I’ll say.” Mark nodded as he removed the towel from around his waist. “We can do whatever you want Peter.” He smirked.

[Peter]

“Like go out on dates more? I want to get to know you and who you are. What makes you tick and how you see the world.” He watches as the towel fell to the ground as he bit his lip. “Is that an invitation to do something in particular Mark?”

[Mark]

“I would love that baby.” He purrs in Pan’s ear as he nodded. “It’s been a while, my body is yours to do with that you will. Show me how much you missed me.” He said in a deep seductive voice as he bit the boy’s earlobe playfully.

[Peter]

The leader nods his head before letting out a moan. “I missed you so much.” He pulls the other against him so that he could feel how excited Peter was.

[Mark]

“Come on daddy you can do better than that. Beg for me.”

[Peter]

Misty felt bad that she had lied to Nibs about where she was going, but she knew he wouldn’t answer the questions she had out of fear they would upset her or something. And technically Nibs was the one who suggested she talk to Peter anyway; she could always talk to Dylan later. “Peter? I need to talk to you.”

[Peter]

Hearing his name being called, Peter appeared in front of the girl, “Yes, can I help you with something?” He asks knowing that she never really came to talk to him about anything. The male could sense that there was something off so he knew that he had to be careful about what he would say.

[Misty]

She stepped back as she saw Peter appear and smiled softly as she greeted him. “Hi um yes, well I’m hoping you can help. You know everything that happens on the island right? Well Nibs mentioned something and I’m just a little confused because I don’t remember it happening. But you would, so I was wondering if you could fill in the blanks and tell me about when Ash bit me?”

[Peter]

“Yes, I do know of everything that happened on the island but that doesn’t necessarily mean that I remember all of it too. I can’t recall when Ashton bit you. Why would he bite you?” Peter asks while raising a brow. “That sounds like some kind of dream you must have had. Ashton is too weak to go after someone honestly. I highly doubt he would bite you too, after all he is one of your friends isn’t he?”

[Misty]

“No we don’t talk anymore...I mean I assumed it was because I am with Nibs but if he bit me that would make more sense. And I have these scars on my wrist and I know they’re from cutting but I can’t remember why I would do that. I just know something is missing and if it is I want to know what it is. I will even pay whatever price I need to, I just have to know.”

[Peter]

Peter took her hands and healed the scars before she could even notice. He examines her hands and wrist with a curious face. “What do you mean? I don’t see any scars on your wrists darling.” Pan responds, “I think that maybe you have been staying up a bit too late either that or Nibs’ imagination is starting to get to you too. The only shifter on this island that has bitten a siren was Sam biting Noah. I know Noah almost lost the baby but Dylan was able to save her. Maybe Nibs had a nightmare and got things mixed up in his mind.”

[Misty]

Misty looked at her wrists and noticed nothing was there and her eyes flashed different colors as she started to feel very confused. “I don’t get it...I feel like I’m missing something and Nibs wouldn’t just say that as a joke. I’m just really confused.” She said trying to stay calm for the sake of the baby.

[Peter]

“Look I wouldn’t stress about it Misty honestly. I don’t think he would have said it as a joke, he might be mixing dreams with reality, that can sometimes happen on this island you know. If you are stressed enough sometimes the mind can trick you. You and your baby are healthy and that is all that matters right? Don’t stress about it. You are queen there are much more pressing issues to deal with other than dreams.” He responds with a reassuring smile.

[Misty]

“I guess...I just, you’re positive nothing is missing? It’s just a dream? So I thought the whole thing up?” She asked.

[Peter]

“Mhm I am positive. I think it was Nibs’ mind that made it all up probably and maybe yours too. I am sure that nothing is missing at least not that I can recall.” He assures her.

[Misty]

“Okay.” Misty nods as her eyes flash back to normal. She didn’t see any reason as to why Peter would lie to her so she was convinced he was telling the truth. “I’m sorry for wasting your time. I guess I should just get some more rest.”

[Peter]

“It is alright. You are fine. Not a lot of people call on my help anymore for whatever reason. Yes you should catch up on your sleep I think that it would be very beneficial for you.”

[Misty]

“Yeah you’re right.” Pushing some strands of hair behind her ear she smiled at him. “Well I guess I should get going. It was nice seeing you...um if you could just keep this between us that would be great.”

[Peter]

“Nice to see you too and of course. It can be our little secret. Good luck Misty.” Peter smiles before disappearing.
