I’ll have to bring her another basket. Really? Well…that’s really great, Peter.
No - stop it. I can't look.
She'll love it. She's been asking me why you haven't been visiting.

I’ll have to bring her another basket. Really? Well…that’s really great, Peter.
No - stop it. I can't look.
She'll love it. She's been asking me why you haven't been visiting.
I don’t have a sad puppy face. I’m fine…it’s just some stress.
How’s your aunt? How are you?
You sort of do. Your brow gets all pinchy and your shoulders droop. It's really quite heartbreaking.
She's - you know, getting better. Taking it day by day. I'm okay, I think. In a weird way I've never been better.
Will I ever find something that isn't spandex?
I never thought designing a secret suit for this gig would be so difficult.
Not a thing, Peter.
Then what's with the face? It's your sad puppy face.
Laurie kept walking until she felt another touch on her shoulder. Dread filled her very being. Someone must of saw what had happened. Maybe there were more than three. Ready to give a sneaky shot to the gut to cause him to lurch and so she could walk away, clenched her fist before turnig swiftly before she sighed from relief.
"Peter, right?" Laurie said as he reminded her of who he was about when they spoke at the carnival. However, she could feel the blood drain away from her face. "I have no idea whqt you are talking about." Laurie replied with an awkward laugh, playing innocent.
Peter couldn't help but wonder why she was pretending that he hadn't seen what he'd seen. Or that she hadn't just kicked some serious bad guy butt. "You don't have to pretend," he said, his brown eyes searching her face, "I saw all of it. Those guys tried attacking you and you - how did you do that?" Peter had his own powers up his sleeve, but he certainly wasn't trained in anything like martial arts or combat. She had to be - unless she was different, too. Peter was kind of making it a fun little side quest to find out just how many people there were out there like him in Metropolis. "I'm sorry if I'm intruding," he added politely, "but - what you did, it was kind of amazing." He probably sounded a bit like a fanboy, but Peter hadn't seen anyone that skilled in combat in his life - well, anyone that wasn't a soldier or something of the like. "What's your secret?" Peter joked, a grin lighting up his features, "were you trained by Jackie Chan or something?"
MJ: Exactly. Your poker face sucks, even through text messaging.
MJ: That's okay, we can work on it though.
MJ: Failure.
Peter: That bad? And here I thought I was doing remarkably well.
Peter: I appreciate the help.
Peter: You? Fail? No way. Not gonna happen at anything. Ever.
What's wrong?
MJ: Sounds to me like you're betting before you've even seen your cards.
MJ: Nah, they're alright, just bugs, right?
Peter: I've never been very good at card games. I give too much away.
Peter: True. So if it's not spiders, what is it that the great MJ Watson is afraid of?
MJ: Did it?
MJ: Spiders? I don't think so.
Peter: Maybe...
Peter: Not a fan?
MJ: Worth it only if it pays off.
MJ: Lies again. Strike two.
Peter: It could! You never know.
Peter: Wha - hey, c'mon. I bet you could find spiders more exciting than me.
MJ: I don't believe that for a second.
MJ: Though, I don't doubt you're full of secrets.
Peter: It was worth a shot, right?
Peter: Who, me? No way. I'm about as average as a guy could get.
MJ: Alright.
MJ: ... I think I may want a little more. What have you got to show, Parker?
MJ: Perfect.
Peter: I'll tell you my deepest, darkest secret?
If you can't parallel park, it's fine.
Just don’t do it while I’m on my way to work.
Probably the biggest reason I stick to the metro system.
MJ: What do I get out of this deal?
MJ: There is an amazing Mexican place on 5th in the Upper East.
Peter: The knowledge that you haven't destroyed my pride.
Peter: Love it. 7 good for you?
MJ: Actually, the lamest text was probably from you telling me it was a lame text.
MJ: Dinner? Friday?
MJ: Sounds good to me, Parker. I'm in.
Peter: Ha, let's just pretend that one doesn't exist. Deal?
Peter: Know any good places or am I supposed to surprise you?
Peter Parker vs Gourmet Fish
Peter: Hey MJ, it's Peter. Gwen gave me your number.
Peter: Wow that was probably the lamest text I've ever sent, my bad.
Peter: Anyway, I was wondering if maybe you want to go get food with me Friday night?
