hey! my names dino and I’ve been keeping shelter rabbits for over a decade. one of my pastimes is looking at the rabbits of petfinder and sending them to my friends. so I thought I’d share some of my favourites with all of you. (SF Bay Area) Meet Boppity! This handsome boy has undergone quite the transformation. He was found outside by a dumpster, covered in matts and his incisors were terribly misaligned. As a result, he wasn’t able to eat and was very thin. He was nursed back to health by a Good Samaritan, who also took Boppity to have his teeth filed down, and got him neutered, vaccinated against Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus Type-2 (RHDV2), and microchipped.

Boppity enjoys running around the house, sitting on the sofa, and binkying! He has a lot of energy and it’s very fun to watch him explore. If you can open your heart and your home to this fluffy king, email [email protected].

Boppity will need to have his incisors trimmed regularly, or they can be extracted. There is a rabbit savvy vet who is willing to donate their services to have this done. Boppity may also need to have his veggies and hay shredded to make it easier for him to eat, and his weight will need to be carefully monitored to make sure he’s eating enough.
