Four years ago, on March 9, 2022, Russia carried out one of the most documented war crimes of its invasion of Ukraine. A Russian airstrike hit a maternity hospital in Mariupol — a place where women were giving birth and children were supposed to begin their lives in safety.
The attack killed at least three people, including a pregnant woman and her unborn child. At least 33 others were injured.
Four years later, Russia still has not been held accountable. The world must not forget such evil. Russia must pay for every life taken!

Helmet of Memory is not a gesture. It is not a provocation.
It is a fact.
A fact that Ukrainian athletes will never return to the arena because war took their lives.
Vladyslav Heraskevych steps to the start with that memory — not against anyone, but for the right to call things by their names.
When the sporting world hesitates over whether remembering the fallen is “appropriate,” this is no longer about regulations.
It is about values.
Ukraine is paying the highest price.

All night, Kyiv fought back from blows to the energy industry. Because Russia is at war with light, heat and water in our homes. Well, it's still ok, we're awake, angry, but it's not new. Used to...
But during the day they attacked a kindergarten in Kharkiv. Just at the time when the kids are there...
What excuses can there be when Russia is at war with children?! 😡
Fortunately, all 48 children were in shelter and were not physically harmed, but many experienced severe stress. These babies were closed today with all possible 😇🪽 wings
HUMAN.STUS - short Lego animated stop motion movie
"Human. Stus" is a short animated movie about Ukrainian poet and human-rights fighter Vasyl Stus. It took me 4 months and over 4000 frames to finish it. And now — you're here. The Soviet Union executed more than 100,000 people in Bykivnia. Mountains of bodies rotted in that forest for years, and no one knew about the crime. Ukrainian intellectuals and artists were constantly persecuted and murdered. Ivan Svitlychnyi, known as the soul of every company, stood before an unjust court. Alla Horska, a stained-glass artist, was killed by a blunt blow to the head. Vasyl Symonenko, a poet and journalist who exposed the crime in Bykivnia, was beaten to death — his kidneys crushed with batons. And Stus — who could not stay silent. He endured punitive psychiatry — the so-called “mental hospitals” where people inconvenient to the system were tortured. He went through beatings in solitary confinement and years of separation from his family. It was done by Russia. Russia tortured generations of Ukrainians to death in terrible agony. And it continues to do so even now. Right now, Ukrainian soldiers are being tortured in Russian captivity. Russians have kidnapped hundreds of thousands of people — more than 20,000 of them are children. But even in the hardest conditions, Stus wrote to his family to remain kind — to everyone, and to everything. To be a candle in the darkness. And to be brave. Because the world needs brave people. And kind ones. Like Stus. Director - Oles Vorona
You know what Matvii Chikmaryov wrote a few days before he, his three-year-old brother, and their mother were shot by the newest fascists in occupied Bucha?. «Now I'm sitting in the basement writing this text, I'm worried about my family because there are fights in Bucha every day. We are a shield for our capital – Kyiv. If I were 18 years old, I would go to fight for Ukraine. But I'm only 9…». And already on March 6, 2022, during an attempt to evacuate, their car was fired upon.. Mother Margarita, sons Klym and Matvii died immediately.. Only father remained alive; he barely managed to escape, but he had lost a leg.. The bodies of a woman and children lay in the car for almost a month.. Only at the end of March, the residents of Bucha took the bodies of the dead from the car and buried them in the churchyard.. It is impossible to write about it with a cold mind.. But this child is worth knowing about, and his family, which was destroyed by the hordes.. Which have no place on earth.
Today, The Sunday Times reveals the names of 13 commanders who participated in the mass murders in Buch. The newspaper reminds of what happened shortly after the invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine.. russian troops occupied Bucha, a suburb of Kyiv, for a little less than a month. During these 29 days at the beginning of 2022, they committed such brutal crimes that this Ukrainian city will forever remain synonymous with war crimes, a kind of Srebrenica of this conflict.

A short history of eastern europe after the second world war
Russia conducted a mass combined strike on Kyiv, triggering multi-site fires and structural damage across the city. As of initial reports, at least two civilians are dead, including a one-year-old child, and 11 injured; some outlets later reported three killed and up to 18 injured as assessments continued. Government facilities in the Pecherskyi district also caught fire after a probable UAV downing.
Urban Effects (by district)
• Sviatoshynskyi:
• Partial collapse of a 9-story building (floors 4–8).
• Debris ignited a 16-story residential tower (fires on 15–16th floors) and caused fires in two other 9-story buildings.
• Vehicles burning near a service station; warehouse area also on fire.
• Darnytskyi:
• 4-story residential building with fires on 3–4th floors; 3rd floor partially destroyed.
• Pecherskyi (government quarter):
• Government building on fire after likely UAV shoot-down; smoke reported from the Cabinet of Ministers complex area.
Casualties (initial)
• Fatalities: At least 2, including a 1-year-old child (some updates report 3 total).
• Injured: 11 (some updates report 18).
Figures continue to evolve as responders clear scenes.
On the International Day of Remembrance of Victims of Terrorism (21 August)
Since 2014, the Russian Federation has waged a terrorist war against Ukraine: systematically striking civilians, destroying critical infrastructure, deporting children, torturing and killing. These are not “mistakes” — they are deliberate methods.
Most tragic episodes include:
MH17 (2014): passenger Boeing shot down over Donbas, 298 killed.
Full-scale invasion (2022): condemned by the UN as an act of aggression.
Bucha and occupied territories (2022): executions, torture, mass graves.
Mariupol Drama Theater (2022): bombed despite visible “CHILDREN” signs.
Kramatorsk railway station (2022): missile strike killed dozens during evacuation.
Attacks on energy (2022–2025): leaving millions without electricity, heat, or water.
Kakhovka dam destruction (2023): ecological and humanitarian catastrophe.
Okhmatdyt children’s hospital (2024): missile strike killed and injured dozens.
Deportation of children: ICC arrest warrant for Putin and Lvova-Belova.
Targeted attacks on hospitals, stations, homes, energy, and deportations of children serve no military purpose. Their aim is terrorizing the population and breaking resistance.
Russia’s terror beyond Ukraine and against its own citizens:
Assassinations abroad: Litvinenko (2006), Skripals (2018), Tiergarten Berlin (2019).
Mass hostage crises in Russia: Nord-Ost theater (2002), Beslan school (2004), where hundreds of hostages, including children, were killed due to the authorities’ actions.
We remember every victim. Justice must prevail — through tribunals, asset confiscation, child repatriation, and global isolation of the aggressor.
Bucha y territorios ocupados (2022): ejecuciones, torturas, fosas comunes.
August)
Seit 2014 führt die Russische Föderation einen Terror-Krieg gegen die Ukraine: systematische Angriffe auf Zivilisten, Zerstörung kritischer Infrastruktur, Deportation von Kindern, Folter und Morde. Das sind keine „Fehler“ – es ist Methode.
Die tragischsten Episoden:
MH17 (2014): Passagierflugzeug abgeschossen, 298 Tote.
Großinvasion (2022): von der UNO als Aggression verurteilt.
Butscha und besetzte Gebiete (2022): Massenexekutionen, Folter, Gräber.
Mariupol-Theater (2022): trotz sichtbarem Hinweis „Kinder“ bombardiert.
