Now that we have a release date for HoT, we feel we can start making early preparations for what is to come!  Guild Halls are a really big deal for a lot of us, providing a home to our guild and, surely, many hours of good times.  

We have seen one reveal for what it will take to build the Guild Hall, and it was rather shocking.  Needless to say, Oops will need the help of everyone if we want to get this done, and it’s certainly a priority for us!  

If you are interested in participating in our guild hall construction or assisting Oops in other ventures, please head to our forums and let us know!  We REALLY need you guys!  Help us make this amazing for everyone.

Attacking people who are poor and cant afford this expansion just because you can and don’t like to see ‘negativity’ (which in a lot of cases is actually just mild discussion)  is ableist. Not everybody can work or earn mad $$$$ for many different reasons and $50 IS a lot of money, so take several seats and try to be less disgusting.

My friends very on point statement about his “apology” for “teenage mistakes.”

And I keep seeing the “he was a hormonal teenager defense.” How long are we going to keep saying “boys will be boys?”

It’s ridiculous.  And you can’t tell me this isn’t partially shaped by the lifestyle they lead, which essentially teaches that women are worthless without men.  And now they’re going to let this little shit get away with this and right it off as a ‘teenage mistake’?  Kiss my ass.  I was a hormonal teenager and I never felt compelled to molest someone.  I made teenage mistakes and none of them included forcing myself onto someone. 

What’s sad is our society condones this boys-will-be-boys-so-lets-punish-victims attitude, but also that we tolerate entire lifestyles built around the teaching that women aren’t on the same level as men.  What fucking horseshit.

Some more images from Lion’s Arch.

The first two images are of the Eastern Ward area.  The construction wraps all the way around to Canal Ward.  This seems to be getting the most work.

The next two are a building in Postern Ward.  It’s quite large, and if you speak to a Consortium Surveyor nearby, they let you know that it will have a very large guild-related organization.  All of the Guild NPC’s have been moved here, so I suspect it’s just a building to create/manage a guild, perhaps something related to selling guild halls as well.

The fifth pic is of the area behind Fort Mariner.  This excited me the most, but I had a hard time getting a really good shot of it.  It’s quite extensive and large.  New military base?

Sixth pic is of a survey goldem.  They can be found all over LA shooting out lasers to receivers.  Quite cool.

The last is the docks.  You can see that construction is well underway.  Looks like some new structures will  be built in this area as well.
