I've honestly been wanting to draw Calvins abandoned house from From the fog for a while and finally found some inspiration

The second house is from Calvins The one who watches video, it took WAY more work (Minecraft's SCARIEST Mod Returns.. The One Who Watches)

Me? Finish an artwork? never.

I was originally planning on drawing somthing from the recent The Idol videos but it just didn't work out (I sensed it wouldn't look as good as I hoped)

Modded horror Minecraft videos are genuinely so fun to watch

For example I've been watching Calvin on YouTube for about 6 months now, recommended by my friend. Some may remember him when he was in Minecraft Ultimate with Technoblade (RIP). His longest running series on his horror account is From The Fog, currently on season 3.

Honestly love all his horror mod lets plays because of the way he goes about them. You can feel the genuine terror from him in circumstances, hyperness on overdrive, and yet he still leaves in the quiet mundane moments. I believe he includes these to add suspense, because he does include quiet moments just before some sppoky shenanigans happen, but even so I'm obsessed because he genuinely plays out of love for the game.

People in comments say "it's scripted!!" a lot of the time, and I agree to an extent, but you can still get that sense of authenticity. Like yeah, he or someone else goes in to position NPCs like Herobrine and Herobree(Alex), but with others like TMFtF and TOWW, he doesn't have nearly as much control over them so he's just as surprised as viewers

TL;DR go watch Calvin. Man does such phenomenal editing and is such a joy to watch, even when getting your socks scared off

Been here since S1 of from the fog, and I genuinely love his lore! Scripted and not scripted parts. A lot of the scripted parts are actually scripted by a third party person who helps manage and develop his modpack and his mods- so while events are scripted a good chunk of them are still organic to him. It’s super cool!
