Ideal for a container in a sunny location with a free-draining compost is Pelargonium sidoides (African geranium). This tender plant produces a compact rosette of soft grey, scented leaves with flowers on delicate stems.

Plant of the Day
Thursday 29 January 2026
The palm species Chamaerops humilis (dwarf fan palm, African hair palm, European fan palm, Mediterranean Fan Palm) is hardy in southern Britain and in sheltered locations with a free-draining soil. It is primarily a dioecious species (separate male and female plants) and here the female plant was producing a display of fruit.

If you have a garden and a library you have everything you need. -- Cicero
To care for a Monstera plant, place it in bright, indirect light, avoiding direct sunlight. Water when the top inch of soil is dry, allowing for slight drying between waterings. Maintain higher humidity levels, either by misting the leaves or using a humidifier. Keep the temperature between 65-80°F (18-27°C), avoiding drafts. Use well-draining soil in a pot with drainage holes. Prune dead or leggy growth, and provide support for climbing if desired. Fertilize with a diluted, balanced liquid fertilizer during the growing season and repot every 1-2 years. Watch for pests and propagate through stem cuttings when needed.
We're all rooted for different seasons. We wont bloom at the same time. 💚
PLANT A SEED.
The path of development is a journey of discovery that is clear only in retrospect, and it’s rarely a straight line.

An exceptional welcome into my new year.
Thank you Bape. 💚
I don't know what I was anticipating more between my birthday and This Chanel No19 bottle.
Both speak of age.
Both 9th September and 19 August are birthdays.
One however states the I'm turning 30 and the other that I'm turning into a woman of pure elegance.
Rooting took forever. Now do we try the impossible growing from leaf? 🍃
