Today's video inspired me to go on a binge of old AmazingPhil videos and it made me think..

A few years ago all I wanted was for Phil to have as many subscribers as Dan. Now I couldn't care less about how many subscribers they have, I want classic, creative, innovative Phil back. Like the interactive adventures he used to make. I miss those. I want him to be able to showcase his incredible editing talent like in his channel trailer.

It's no secret I've been drifting from Dan and Phil for years and it feels like an all time low for me but having said all of that before, I know it's not going to happen. So I think it's time for me to start looking back on the old content with fond nostalgia instead of bitterness for how the new stuff isn't like it used to be. I'm not their target audience anymore but that's okay. Actually it's not okay, it's sad. But what can I do about it? Not a lot. I'm going to try to learn to love whatever it is they're doing and continue to support the two dorks I grew up with.
