Dream SMP Recap (July 21/2021) - Foolish Was Bored
Foolish creates a neighborhood in the fight hole, makes some beet porridge and digs a considerable tunnel into the wall of Pandora’s Vault.
- Ponk works on his “magma house” some more
- Foolish pretties up the server a bit
- After returning to his summer home, Foolish goes to visit the Arctic
- He goes looking for pumpkins and descends into the basement. He is confused by the number of donkeys
- Foolish asks Phil if he can blow him up, but Phil does not seem to understand
- Foolish starts building a little wooden hut in the basement. He is excited to be neighbors with Phil. He calls it Foolishville. He puts on his Sherlock skin to look like a respectable gentleman
- Phil comes down and sees it. He just goes back to working on the basement. He thinks Foolish is like an attention-seeking child
- Foolish makes some beet soup porridge
- Foolish gives Phil some of the porridge. He says it looks cursed
- Foolish calls Phil and asks if he’s the lawn guy. He is also miffed that he hasn’t received a house-warming gift yet
- Phil tells Foolish that he is in a fight hole. Foolish does not know what a fight hole is
- As a present, Phil sets Foolish’s house on fire
- Foolish suggests Phil rebrand the fight hole to “Philzavilla”
- They clean up the remains of the neighborhood, which was just too cozy
Phil: “No snuggling in the fight hole.”
- Foolish leaves the basement
- Later, Foolish gets the idea to try and break the prison. He starts mining into the wall and surprisingly, he easily breaks several blocks before the Mining Fatigue kicks in
- He starts giving it some thought. What if Dream broke out and there was a bounty, and Foolish fetched Dream to earn the reward? He continues mining
- Quackity logs on and immediately dies from fall damage
- Foolish keeps on mining deeper into the prison wall, getting a cow to help
- Eventually, though, Quackity starts whispering to Foolish and Foolish whispers back:
Quackity: What are you doing?
Foolish: listen listen this could be something big
Foolish: I’ve made good progress into breaking the prison
Quackity: Stop immediately
Quackity: You won’t get past the security. It will compromise us.
Foolish: do you know this place decently?
Quackity: I have something to tell you, Foolish. I go there almost every day. Not recently, but in the past month or so I have been.
Foolish: part time security?
Quackity: No. We need to have a talk soon. Stop breaking into the prison any further.
Quackity: We can’t afford any further compromise. Why were you trying to break in anyways?
Foolish: imagine the leverage we could have if dream was in our possession
Foolish: maybe even a bounty
Quackity: I already have arrangements with the prison visits. I need to speak to you soon. Plus Sam is a business partner, if he finds this out we will all be compromised.
Foolish: Fine I’ll stop for now, we will talk more about it sometime
Quackity: Let’s set up a meeting soon. Just stop trying to break in immediately. Cover up whatever you were doing and we will have a talk.
- Foolish covers up the tunnel and Quackity logs out. Foolish knows it’s a silly idea, more risk than reward, but the reward could be very high
Foolish: “Say he did break out and he was just, wandering around you know what I mean? Say he was just on his own. He would maybe slow down other people…Like what if he – do you know what I mean? ‘Cause you have Tommy, Wilbur to the left, maybe he would go after other people like, cause a mess for them as we build up…”
- He quickly dismisses that as a dumb idea, though, as it would probably end up as self-sabotage at some point. Foolish would need a lot more planning for something like this
Upcoming events remain the same.
