q: what is rebrand? rebrand is an organized phan event where writers will "rebrand" an artwork that inspires them. writers can use prompts provided or come up with their own to write a fic about dan and phil, and beta-readers will be paired with a writer to provide feedback. then we will publish our fics at the end of february as part of an ao3 collection!
q: where is the application/sign-up form? the sign-up form for writers is here. the sign-up form for beta-readers is here. the sign-up period will end october 12th 6 PM UK time!
q: what is the timeline for this event? our timeline is linked here. prompts will be collected and claimed by the first check-in (Nov. 8th).
q: where are the prompts? you can find some art and prompts here, but if you have your own idea and artwork then feel free to submit that in your form!
q: where can i talk to other participants in the fest? once the sign-up period is over you can join the discord with your fellow participants!
q: i'm a new writer or not well-versed in the dan and phil fandom, can i join? yes! we welcome new writers, emerging writers, new phannies alike! if you don't feel quite confident enough yet to write with these prompts then consider being a beta-reader! it's also just nice to get to know your fellow creatives! q: are there any rules? the minimum word count is 3k. we also ask that you do not reveal what you are writing prior to the final date!
