I wish I could upload more of my stuff but the scanning is the problem. I have so much I would like to scan…
But here’s a drawing of a generic ALW Phantom I liked. :)
(If you wonder about the Wtf hands, it was supposed to look seductive)
OutOfComposition: I'm sorry for my inactivity
Life has been a rollercoaster and my ability to write, or even to focus enough to try, has been decimated. I should be returning soon, though. Best wishes to all of you. Please, if you don't want me to still reply to our threads from ages ago, please say so. I fully intend to reply to everything I have laying around when I feel up to it; if you would rather I drop it, please tell me before I waste my time and yours!
guess my muse's turn-ons
send me one guess and I’ll rate it:
NO WAY | MEH | NOT BAD | MMM | YEAH BABY | FUCK YES RIGHT NOW
Harrowing Halls
Soon, the Phantom had wound his way to the entrance of the catacombs. They had gone very far downward, to be there. The chase had taken a while, but with both of them keeping good pace, it took not nearly as long as one would have thought. The entrance was a large wooden door, and the Phantom decided to pause there.
"Officer! Oh, Officer!" He called in a sing-song voice, masking a chuckle. "I seem to have found a strange door! What ever shall I do?" Grasping the handle, he slowly started pushing open one half of the double-door. It creaked so loud that the sound echoed.
"What happens if I go through this door? Will you follow?"
The officer stumbled to a stop, keeping a safe distance between himself and the phantom for now. He grit his teeth as the phantom mocked and goaded him into chasing him further.
"Of course I will - I am not leaving here until I have you in custody!" he yelled and on instinct he grabbed his gun at his side, prepared to shoot again at a moments notice, however, his attention was caught by the door as it began to open… he couldn’t help his curiosity.
What on earth lay beneath the old theatre?
As the door opened, golden light from many torches poured into the dark area they were standing in. Compared to the dark of the maze-like adventure they had just completed, the light from the catacomb tunnel was nearly blinding.
"What a delightful answer! What a man of honor! Let's hunt down the monster! The son of the devil is within reach!" He mocked further as he suddenly bolted into the catacombs. As any catacombs, there were bodies all about, but there was also water.
Many of the bodies did not look rotted enough to have been down there long, but were still quite lacking several important parts.
The hidden eye was forced to squint, though by what it was uncertain with the mask in place. Yet, it was clear that there was a hidden malice behind that eye. The healthier, more visible eye, was crinkled at the edges with the broadness of the gentleman’s smile at Jekyll before him. Jekyll’s interest in the Phantom’s writing only made him a more tempting object to possess, as the curious ones were always the best, even though they lasted the shortest amount of time.
"Only one singer in the whole Opera House is of the caliber I would need, but if one knows how to read music properly, simply beholding the written work may be enough to satisfy. I only wish I could perform, myself, for at least then there would be two qualified singers." Laughing lightly, the man looked at the other.
"What about you, monsieur? Do you write your own story, or are you a follower of someone else’s story?" His face had suddenly gone to an inquisitive one, which seemed to already bear a bit of scorn, as though a warning against offering up the wrong answer to him.
Jekyll froze up as he thought about his own situation. Just the way that the masked man asked that unnerved him. He still tried to be polite and did his best not to stare into the other man’s eyes but no matter what he did he just felt so.. exposed. It was almost as if the man simply called Phantom was peering right through him.
It was unnerving to say the least but he would just have to deal with it. After all, it would be even more rude to say something about it. You don’t just go and tell the owner of a great establishment such as this to stop staring at you. The scientist was a bit taken aback by the other’s question.
The atmosphere quickly turned from pleasant and light-hearted to unsettling and tense. It was almost like he was being tested based on the answer he gave. Jekyll smiled brightly and gave a simple reply, ” My good Sir Phantom I’m afraid that I’m not a writer. I’m just a simple scientist.”
After a moment's pause, the Phantom's scornful look turned right back into the previous wide grin.
"A man of science! Ah, the best sort! A scientist is much like an artist, except in the purpose of each piece. Artists entertain, where scientists explain. But both look at the world around them, try to find how it works, and manipulates it into what they wish it to be." The Phantom's eyes still seemed to peer through the man though. Marik was wary of scientists, as a general rule, but he did not wish to let the man figure that out. For, if Jekyll knew why Marik so much feared scientists, he would indeed have to fear Jekyll in particular.
The atmosphere still felt tense, as Marik paused again. Then, he took a breath. "What sort of science is your field of study, sir?"
"Hey, Bandit?"
Gently, with a gloved hand, he stroked the boy’s cheek; the one without the scar.
"My, my, you are quite a beauty. What ever shall I do with you…" He smirked, then removed his hand. "I am the Phantom. That collar means, for some time, you are mine. I swear not to hurt you unless you try to escape. Now, little one, what is your name?"
He frowned at the touch, looking at the gloved hand before pale eyes rolled back to what he could see of the other’s face. Again he touched the collar at the mention of it, taking a few moments to reply. “Akefia.” He poked the spikes on it, then gave it a tug to see if it would even come off like that but of course it wouldn’t.
He stopped tugging and looked up at the other. He didn’t seem afraid or intimidated, just a bit confused. “Why are you wearing a mask?”
"Akefia. What a lovely name." Commented the Phantom, looking over every detail. He was fairly certain this was a young Bandit, or Bandit put under a spell that temporarily made him so. Whatever the reason, the poor boy reminded him of a young lost animal; or, of himself when he was younger.
Then the question came. The Phantom's face shifted from the patient look before, to an almost shocked one, then to the sort of smile a teacher forces on around an overly-curious student. "My mask is not important, little Akefia. What is important is that you are mine for a while. And what I might do to you."
Hey, sleepyhead
Waking slowly, the man’s eyes opened to see his angel beside him in his bed. Eyes widened a bit for a moment, he then smiled sleepily.
"I’m dreaming." He concluded aloud and rolled over, facing away from him. Luckily he had slept with the mask.
The boy had giggled, crawling into the bed after the male before placing a kiss upon his chin that was not covered by the mask.
"This is no dream my love~"
"That kiss confirmed it actually." The Phantom sleepily groaned. Peeking at Ryou again, he shook his head a bit. "I’ll wake in a few minutes, and you’ll be gone, as you always are."
The boy felt a pout cross over his face as he crawl over top of the other so he sat right on the good stuff. "I’m not a dream Marik." He huffed.
"Oof." Grumbled the Phantom as Ryou sat there on him.
"You have to be. You can’t be anything but a dream." He groaned. "Let me wake, now, Monsieur Dream."
"Marik…it really is me..please snap out of it.." Frowning gently the boy pulled himself off of the other male to sit beside him.
"Such a sweet dream…" Mumbled the Phantom. He looked as though he were about to drift back to sleep right there. Poor man had no clue what was happening.
Getting frustrated and upset the boy had slapped the other male across the face in anger. "I’m not a dream Marik now wake up.." He huffed a bit, tears having filled his eyes with hide frustration.
The Phantom immediately sat bolt upright at being slapped.
"Que se passé-t-il?!" He exclaimed, eyes widened as he looked at Ryou. It was only then that he finally realized it wasn't a dream, but now he was too angry to think of anything else at the moment.
OoC: Not sure what to do with the Phantom for Halloween
Considering he's already a character other people dress up as
Being from a horror story and all
Maybe vampire? Although Cocky's already doing that...
Suggestions?
OoC: Finally got around to fixing the video of my Phantom impressions. Sorry I haven't been on, guys. Too much has been going on in my life and I'm not handling it very well. So, have this video as an apology of some sort, I guess.
Send "Would you kindly" + an action and my muse will obey
Send me "Cured" and I'll write a short drabble of my character as a Good Guy
In response to the "Lived long enough to become the villain" meme going around.
Ach, this au concept is so cool. *hugs it, keeping hand at level of eyes*
OoC: That sounds like such an awkward way to hug someone/thing!
I'm glad you like it, you should go tell @neal-illustrator that you feel that way!
Trying to find a canon Marik to roleplay with more like
OOC//Sadly, the ones I enjoy have been drawn away by real world affairs.
Lonelydesertstar was a wonderful Marik, even though the character was based in Ancient Egypt, and Ishtarheir is still a delight, although health issues affect their availability.
OOC: Can I just add that SadisticMarik was one of my favorites, when she was able to RP? Life's gotten in her way, but she was wonderfully canon, and her Marik and Mariku were awesome.

A grin spread across her face, looking down at the baby. "Boy. Monsieur Phantom... meet my son. Isaac." she replied, turning the child around to see the man.
"Isaac…" He smiled at the baby, then stuck his tongue out. "Hi there Isaac!" Standing back up straighter, he wiggled his fingers in front of the baby’s face. "Hello! Hi!"
Isaac cooed curiously before giggling a little and reaching for the Phantom’s fingers. This man sure looked a lot like his daddy. Genie laughed. “I think he likes you!”
Laughing deeply, he smiled brightly at the baby, then up at Genie as Isaac grabbed a finger. "I think so too! He is too precious. I hope his father is helping you care for him, children are a handful."
A grin spread across her face, looking down at the baby. "Boy. Monsieur Phantom... meet my son. Isaac." she replied, turning the child around to see the man.
