So if you aren't aware, I live on a farm. Our main income is from crop and seed production. More than likely if you live in the eastern part of the US, some of the food made from corn or soybeans that you have eaten has come from our fields. Crazy right? Farmers are the ones keeping food on your plates.
Well, lately there has been talk of data centers trying to take our land to have more places for their slop to happen. They are specifically looking for large portions of land to build them, like our corn, wheat, and soybean fields. Possibly placing one RIGHT NEXT to my house.
I wanted to bring this up because as an artist I'm already against this crap. But them trying to take away what we have worked so hard to have is even more upsetting. The adults are trying to let the law that lets this happen not get passed. Again, this is our main source of money throughout the year. If they take away that, we may not be financially stable much longer.
At the moment all is ok and we are able to live normally for the moment. Lets not just make this about me either.
Taking away farms means less food production, which could cause inflation. Data centers also cause global warming and harm animals that live in cold climates. There are so many things wrong with this.
I, am a teenager and don't understand the full of it, but I am sane enough to know it's not good. I'm not sure what good posting about it on a channel with barely 100 ppl tuning in will do, but i just wanted to make it aware. If the data center does eventually become an issue I will most definetly let you goobers know. For now, the fight against robots continues, and me... I'm gonna go draw :3"

I hope this gets out to ppl. I want to continue creating content and stuff, but if our farm doesn't produce as much money I may have to step away to cut expenses.
I will NOT have my family live in poverty for the same reasons I may not have a career in the future.
