So, I've been trying to do my own thing in music for a while and this past year I decided to branch out and to collaborate with others instead. So far, it's been really fun. I've joined two projects and both are in their infancy stages as of now. I'm very excited to see where they will end up taking me.
This band is called yearløve. We are an alternative indie rock band. Super upbeat and a lot of songs written in major chords. I actually found these guys on Craigslist and I lucked out. We mesh very well on a creative level.
This is my roommate Josh who started his own band Tuolumne (too-all-uh-me).
He asked me to join a while back and I was being stupid and thinking I didn't want to split time between him and my other band but I actually had more time to put into his stuff than I thought. He's a really good writer and he's got a more contemporary sound. No, he doesn't play drums, I just got a GIF of him messing around.
I'm excited to see where these bands will be in a year from now. We are kind of in pre-show hell with yearløve but Josh has got some shows on the books for November and he's trying to get more.
