Hey guys. Sorry for the extremely inconsistent activity lately. I've been going through some really rough emotional times, and that combined with ADHD has been making it really hard to focus on one thing at a time, or anything at all really. I've been trying to push through it, but it's been so easy to burn out that I think I've been making it worse for myself. And that sucks, because I love running this blog and having these fun interactions with you guys, but unfortunately, it's not sustainable the way I've been going about it.

I'm going to try and step back for a few days to see if I can work out some of my mental health problems. I hope you guys understand.

Ze’mer, this might come as a shock to you, but as it turns out, princess Hornet from Hallownest (yes, the one you remember as your King’s daughter) has been kidnapped by the rulers of this new land you’re in! I think she’d more than love to see you again and appreciate any help you could offer! She should be in the Citadel right now. Be careful though, there is a certain white bug with a pin who goes around killing other bugs for fun and she’s quite deadly.

Kind strangers.

I feel obligated to remind you all that I lived in that gilded place for centuries. Spun to life by a Mother who never once spoke to me until I struck her into the Void, and made to walk through empty halls for most of my existence.

I charged myself with the "keeping" of the Citadel's supposed sacred order—an order that hardly existed due to the severe lack of living bugs among the ranks. Those who survived the long silence were few and far between... and I killed many of those who made it through the Grand Gate, who defiled the Citadel with their "sinful presence."

Centuries. Centuries I lived this routine, with almost no one else in my life.

...surely we have not forgotten this? Surely we recall how I was willing to risk death for even the smallest chance at finally being seen by the god who brought me into the world? Surely we remember the fate I unwillingly brought the kingdom so close to, bound to black threads because even my little rebellion was not enough for Mother to truly see me then? Surely we remember how desperate I had been?

Ahaha...

Oh, how I prattle on. I've twisted this into an entirely unrelated tangent, all because this poor, kind stranger offered advice that merely happened to be... deeply incorrect.
