This was an extract from a fic I gave up on...
It was supposed to be a Finn x Reader skit but I just lost the will to write it.
But I thought you all needed something to read of mine so I decided ‘fuck it’. So you can all see what could have been. This is ages old by the way. I’d say almost as old as this blog tbh.
I hope you enjoyed it more than I did.
It was a known fact that the women wrestlers always had someone to talk about. Whether someone had pissed them off, or if they were just talking about the outfit choices of some of the male wrestlers. However, it was a rare occurrence to hear those words being spoken by certain women, and you were notorious for that.

It was just after he’d come in to have some measurements made for some new gear, and he was dying for a piss. So he made his way through the corridors quietly, making sure not to disturb anyone. The place was dead, mostly because the show had ended a few hours ago. So he assumed that everyone had left: leaving the whole place to himself. That’s when he heard it. You and Alexa, he could spot both voices from a mile away. So he stopped and leaned against the wall, trying not to be seen as he heard you both giggle.

You were leaning against the wall as Alexa stood next to you - both freshly changed from a night of promos and fighting. Your conversation becoming way too personal for the confines of a corridor but none of you cared at the moment. Everyone else had left and you both were waiting for Bayley to finish so you could all make your way back to the hotel. It was her idea to start asking stupid questions, but it was you who decided to make them worse, so you were both as bad as each other.
“Okay. Um...” You tapped your chin as Alexa smiled at you. “Out of all the men, who’s face would you wanna sit on?” You asked as she giggled next to you and shoved you playfully.
“That’s not fair” Her cheeks were red as you smiled next to her. “Okay I’ll answer it, but you have to as well” You laughed and nodded at her.
You both looked at each other and nodded. In sync, you both began to count down. “3, 2, 1″ She said the name almost instantly after you said 1.
“AJ” She smiled and hid her face in her hands. “What about you?” Her voice was muffled by her hands but you managed to make out what she was saying.
“Finn” You spoke quietly as she looked up at you with a huge smile on her face. “What. Have you seen his beard?” You shrugged calmly and you both broke into a fit of giggles.

His face was bright red as he heard what you said. Almost instinctively, his fingers went to his beard and he smirked mischievously. It made him think.
You were always the talk of the locker rooms. Ever since your debut where you managed to render all the men speechless with your sass and wit. All the guys were enchanted by you, even those who were in relationships or even married. They would all take bets on how they thought you’d be in bed, or who could make you scream the loudest. But you’d never shown interest in any of them, making them even more desperate.
It felt like Finn’s ego had skyrocketed as he thought about your words. And now he knew that he’d at least get somewhere with you, it became his new personal mission to make sure that happened.

As you were about to ask Alexa another question, Bayley turned the corner and smiled at you both. ‘Fucking finally’ you thought. “Hey guys, c’mon lets get going”. You and Alexa both started walking towards her, but you stopped as soon as you saw Finn turn the corner.
“Bayley, Alexa” He nodded at them as they smiled back at him. As he got closer to you, he smiled and looked down at you. “Y/N” he winked as he moved past you and walked down the corridor.
