Frisk were sitting in their room. They looked out their window. They were watching the stars. Then suddenly they saw a unusual light coming towards their house. As curious as frisk was, They ran outside. The light were right in front of them. Frisk held out their hand. And touched the light. Then, everything went black..
Frisk woke up, it was morning now. They looked around, where were they? They weren't home. The sky was blue and clear. Frisk got back up on their legs. They lookes around once again, they could see some old ruins in the distance. Then they saw something glowing in the grass. They picked it up.. it was an egg? It had a glowing Red Heart on it. Frisk didn't know why, but they knew the egg was important. Suddenly they heard a laugh. They turned around. It was a flower. It laughed, "Howdy! Im flowey, you're new here aren't cha? That Egg you have there seems like a awful extra weight. Let me take it for you." Frisk looked at the flower, then the egg, then the flower again. Then they shaked their head "*no*". The flower then started laughing again. And vines came up from the ground "guess I'll have to take it by force then" the Vines came towards frisk. Frisk turned around and started running away. But they didn't see where they were going, And they tripped and they dropped the egg. The vines held frisk down, as they started trying to take the egg. But suddenly. A cyan Light came towards them and the vines turned into ice. The ice bird with the cyan heart on it's forehead flew towards the flower, then the flower escaped.
A girl walked up to frisk and helped them up. The girl had whitish blonde hair. And blank blue eyes. She picks up the egg and gives it to frisk. "It's not safe here, come with me." The girl grabbed Frisk's hand and she pulled them after her through the ruins. "Now that we're safe, my name is Lyra. And this is patience" the ice birds lands on Lyra's shoulder. "She's an Soul-Phoenix. Soul-Phoenix are connected to Human souls, All humans have one. That egg you have there must be your soul-Phoenix." Frisk looked at the egg, then she looked at Lyra and Patience "*my name is frisk.. So what do you mean by, connected?*" lyra smiles and pets patience's head. "Well, it means that your soul-Phoenix will be connected to you. For example. I and Patience are connected by, patience is my, eyes, because. Im almost blind, but I can see through Patience's eyes." "*oh.. well, what is this world?. Where am I?*" frisk again looks around, confused. "You're in the monster world, I've been here for almost a year now, if I hadn't found the patience egg.
