Here are a few designs that I have done for my pre production module. 

Its a Film called ‘Deflated’ and follows a young girl trying to get over the death of her first pet...Mr.Snuggles. However, when Mr.Snuggles dies he becomes a balloon of worry for her and began to disrupt her everyday life.

Working on something new for pre production and I like where it’s going! Hopefully be able to expand on this idea and create something that will be a soaring success ;)

Some life drawing I did in 30 minutes poses, focusing on feet and the arms. I find these most difficult to draw so I forced myself out of my comfort zone to draw them in detail.

Life drawing piece I did a few days ago - I’m not really a big fan of doing life drawing but I understand that it does help and benefit me in a number of ways.

Here is a test shot for my pre production module at university.

It’s created in both Photoshop and Toon boom and I used life action reference to get the timing right. I exaggerated some aspects of the jump, but i want to keep the feel of the moments very realistic.

Here Is a still image from one of my episodes. 

Lucy Land Sea (The marvellous caravan) Has transformed into a boat of some sort and the kids and Grandpa have the task of calming the great beast.

Here is the decrepit caravan that my main character lives in. He has an unhealthy attachment to the sea and calls his caravan ‘Lucy Land Sea’. The Caravan is a collection of mess and mysteries, and the Caravan it’s self has a few tricks up its sleeve.

This is a great listen!  I played this in the background while doing some work and found he really touched upon some points that i have come across in my time doing art. 

He talks about a lot of struggles he went through and that most of us as animators or artist would of been though to.
