Longtime assistant Majid returned from Iran and got Isaiah Zagar to make art again after he retired for a few years due to Parkinson's. This is barely a fraction of all the tiles they made over the last year; it was very emotional for everyone.

I always liked Zagar's stream-of-consciousness style.

Magic Gardens, Philadelphia - The Magic Gardens are the work of Isaiah Zagar, who in the late 1960′s began transforming his neighborhood, studio and an adjacent empty lot with mosaic murals and walls made of found objects.
