There’s just so much to do, and all I did yesterday was eat and sleep. Sure, that is, if you don’t mind me stopping for food like…. 6-8 times in a day.

That's perfectly fine with me, I'll eat with you! I love food so much, especially Italian!

All of my fellow freshies seem to have disappeared. Ok. I’ll just wander around Rome then.

I mean, the buildings and the girls are beautiful, so it can’t be that bad.

-- Pumpkin Pie Pancakes || Josh & Phoebe

Josh felt bad for bailing early from the Halloween Ball and was worried that Phoebe was left with a sour taste in her mouth. He sincerely hoped that she had a good time and wanted to make sure he followed up. Which is why, the morning after the Halloween Ball, he texted her and asked if she’d like to get breakfast in the caf. Unlike the rest of the student body, he actually enjoyed the cafeteria food and, with Halloween fast approaching, the chefs had started creating special menus, including a delicious pumpkin pie pancake plate that usually sold out early in the morning.

He got to the cafeteria earlier than he told Phoebe to get there and greeted the workers there. The dishwashers, the servers, the chef. Because of his schedule getting him up early for his morning run, he’d always been one of the first in the cafeteria and had gotten to know everyone there pretty well. He ordered two servings of the pumpkin pie pancakes and grinned when they even gave him a small scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side.

With his tray loaded up, he grabbed a table by the large cafeteria windows and set it up with all of Phoebe’s food across from him. The sun was shining through the window and the autumn leaves were crisp and bright and Josh couldn’t help but realize that the morning had already put them in an amazingly good mood. He eagerly texted Phoebe to let her know where he was sitting and, only a few minutes later, looked up to see her walking in. With a smile, he raised his arm in greeting and waved her over.

Phoebe was laying in her bed trying to figure out math problems that seemed to be in a totally different language. She was a little disappointed that Josh had bailed early the previous night, but she was glad she went with him. It was a fun night and she absolutely loved Halloween, so when she had the opportunity to be creative enough to make her own costume, she went all out. In a way, she wanted to impress Josh with her costume and the many compliments she received still put a smile on her face. 

When Josh texted her and asked her to have breakfast with him, she quickly agreed and slammed her books closed. She wasn't exactly sure what would happen between them, especially after she, in a sense, came to his rescue when Brick asked them if they were dating and when his friend Josie came to join them. She tried to prepare herself for what would happen if she wasn't the one he liked and promised herself that she would not get too upset about it, especially not in front of him.

As she walked into the cafeteria, Phoebe was greeted by the smell of something sweet. Was that pumpkin? Excited by this thought, she quickly spotted Josh and sat across from him. "Yay, pumpkin pie pancakes!" she giggled excitedly, taking a small bite. "My favorite."

I can’t stand liars. So, I just tell you what I think, and I don’t exactly care how one  reacts to it. I’ve never heard that song.. I don’t really listen to that kind of music.

I love her music, it's similar to LanaDel Rey and she's my queen.

I’m just honest.

I like honesty. This reminds me of Marina and the Diamond's song Teen Idle when she says, "the pretty lies the ugly truth." Haha. I don't know, I think it's better sometimes to get told like it is.

Who needs them? It’s good to have some nice people in the world, I guess I’m really not one of them, but you know, I’ll make that exception for certain people. Great.

That would look really cool, I think. You could have like twigs all in your hair and scratches and stuff. I like the supernatural, but dead freaks me out. Although death can be rather beautiful sometimes…

To die would be an awfully big adventure.
