Headcanon: when Cat gets fed up with everybody in her office and nobody is doing anything right she just thunders away and storms into Kara’s office, pacing about and spouting every bad thing about these incompetent drones she has hired, obviously through no fault of her own.  Kara just stands there, lets Cat get her spiel out, and waits until she plonks her self into the sofa Kara’s siphoned into the room.  Then she pulls her drawer open, takes out a small box of M&Ms and opens it, handing it to Cat who, upon seeing the familiar candy she loves so much inside, almost snatches it away without a second glance.  

Of course, Kara notices the little smile Cat gives her when she thinks she’s not looking.
