Hello and welcome to phoenixmaiden gaming! This here blog is where I will post all things game related. Mostly just pics and comments of me playing in game, so warning for spoilers ahead of time. Hope you enjoy!!!
I brought Lillian the fries that she wanted, and she couldn’t believe that I did as no one had cared before. It was like I actually liked her. Aw, Lillian…I then went to Archie with his party boxes and he said that this would keep the party going and would keep the island bears minds off of stuff.
I have to say, I usually love the Story of Seasons games, but this one seemed...not the same. I was actually bored because nothing was happening and I struggled to make money. I couldn't build my own farm like other games, it was already there and I just had to use what was already there. I couldn't sell most of my stuff and had to wait until someone came to town because it was too low level. It just took way to long. I just didn't want to go back, so for me, that said a lot. I should probably play a bit longer since I didn't even complete a year in game, but I have no urge too. It was disappointing, so I hope any other games are better.
That was in for the new update, so I spent the rest of the time collecting shinies to play the crane game in the raccoons' lair and get the last of the new achievements.
I took a picture of the honeyform that Beatrice wanted and gave it to her. She thanked me and was glad I didn’t get a pic of her since the forums would freak out that she was a ghost. She then explained that it wasn’t that surprising since half the internet was ghosts, they still remember passwords and could mess with the living. Wow. Rude. I returned to Ben with the sunflower seeds and he thanked me and said that he always wanted a garden with flowers but there had never been time to plant them. He had to repair the house and the kids needed help with school, there was always something. Now there was nothing to stop him.
There was so much to see on this island. One of the spots was the trainer bridge, one of my contenders for my favorite spot. There was also a Diglett tunnel with an excellent use of the pipes. And each of the villager houses was used as a gym or houses in different cities. So cool. There was also the bike lane.
House Tour...or at least one of them. I didn't have room for them all, but there was this house in Pallet Town that belonged to Red, with a living room and Red's room. Right next to the house was another resident's house, Blue's, a mirror image of Red's except in blue. There was also a house belonging to Bill the Pokemaniac.
Another House Tour! This one belonging to the Chairman of the Pokemon Fan Club. It was just one room and was very close to the real thing. There was also an area with a bunch of trees, it had to be the Safari Zone.
House Tour! This one was Team Rocket's hideout. Arcade in the front and in the back room was the hideout, complete with the floor tiles that made you spin across the floor. Brought a smile to my face.
House Tour! This one was one of the biggest and had all the rooms and it was the PokeMart. Complete with reception, store with items, one where you buy pokeballs, a bike shop and the rooftop with a Pidgey.
House Tour! Another one of the big houses was up a set of stairs, and I walked into the Pokemon League. The resident was inside asking to battle and in each room was one of the Elite Four, and in the basement, the final Memory room. There was another house that I couldn't fit and it was the Pokemon Center.
The island has so much stuff to see and I have so many favorite spots until I found this one, a very cleverly made structure that looked like a ship, the SS. Anne. It was so brilliant and my favorite spot.
This island had so many areas that was a part of the Kanto region and I took so many pictures, but there is a 30 photo limit on posts, so in order to see everything to you will have to visit yourself. It is a must see, it's amazing and brought me back to my childhood playing Pokemon Yellow on my gameboy. Loved it.
I talked to Beatrice and she was concerned because there were doubts in the forums about her discovery and they wanted pics or it was fake. So she asked me to get a picture of the honeyforms. Moving on, I spoke to Archie and he said that he had gotten more party crates and asked me to go get them from the ocean. So I did and as I went around I completed timed quests for Bearos, Patrice, Captain Bill, and Francesca.
I completed all the quests in the island and found the treasure from the picture. I returned to the valley and realized I had a new quest from Buzz. Quest: We Are Eternally Grateful! I just need to go see Buzz.
Have to say, I was a little disappointed with this game. There is no real direction or instruction on what I was even supposed to do. The little slime characters were cute and I did enjoy exploring around and collecting them...but then what? I didn't really get it, so I didn't play as much. Maybe I was just missing something, I guess I need more direction. It is fun to just wander, I guess, but it was just directionless and not for me.
New day, and Lillian had read over the research and she said that there was a spell that would mute the voice in her head, and it talked back almost mocking. It wasn’t working probably because she was hungry, so I’ll have to get some food for her. I spoke to Ben after and he said he had wished he could see Ursula Pine’s legendary garden and compared it to his dingy house and blamed it on why he hadn’t gone gold. He asked if I could bring him some sunflower seeds to cheer him up.
I went back to Beatrice with two Honeyforms I had found and she was excited at how different they were. She then told me a story about a story of the early days of Cozy Grove and how the Apocrites created collections and hid them underground and those were the Arcane Honeyforms. Legends say the collections were still down there. Okay, interesting.
Avalon was the next place I visited and there was just one resident. All the villager houses were in one area, leaving the rest of the island to be decorated and it was really nice. There wasn’t really a theme going on, but there were a few nicely decorated areas. The resident house wad really nice and I really liked the top floor with the desk and bookshelf. But my favorite place on the island had to be the diner near the top right of the island. Very fancy.
New island and it was pretty. I liked their sword in stone flag. I also found their campsite in the corner and they had a road between waterfalls that was really nice.
There was a circle of rocks, that must have taken time. I also met the resident while exploring around.
Found a nice seating area and further up the beach was an outdoor TV set.
I found a few nice little places like my favorite, the outside diner. As well as a flower field and a zen garden.
House Tour! It was a nice little place with a different theme to each room. Their bathroom was pretty cool as was the sitting room with all the greenery. But like the other houses I've seen, I love the office the best.
This island was a nice place to visit, not to overly done, but a nice quaint place to visit.
I took Cogsworth to Belle and Beast's house and they greeted him along with Lumiere. He wanted to start cleaning, but Belle explained that there was no need for the, the Valley kept everything clean on its own, so all he had to do was think of this as a vacation and relax. Cogsworth didn't know how to do that but Lumiere said they could go on an adventure together to look for ghosts. lol. Quest: A Guide to Better Castle-Keeping (complete). I got a new Quest: The Momento right after regarding the invitation I still had in my inventory, so that will be next.
I returned to the Valley and Cogsworth joined me. Now that was he was here, Cogsworth now remembered the Valley and everyone here. I also told him the truth of the invitation and how Dreamlight magic from it had messed up the castle. I also said that it was an invitation to a party I hadn't been invited to and didn't know why. Yet Cogsworth did say that I had been invited to theirs and had a good time. Now it was time to go see Beast and Belle.
I went to Beatrice and she said that more honeyforms were popping up on the island. She got a lot of likes on an online blog. If I found more, she will give me more answers on her past. I then did timed quests for Lillian, Lee, Captain Bill, Valentina, and Francesca.
Ben didn’t have a quest for me today and instead he asked me about the cat he gave me and he told me about his three kids. But from the way he talked about them it made it seem like they were a burden. He had wanted to give them everything, but they needed so much help and he had bills to pay so he just did the minimum that he could. I continued on to Archie who was just hanging out with no quests. He was saying that moments where it was quiet and still, it bummed him out so he just kept partying. Yet it still worked its way in. What is he running from?
