if Quentin could ignore one thing, the muttering under his breath, thing, he honestly couldn’t look past the name thing.  “Quincy?” he asked, his voice breaking a little in his shocked tone.  “excuse you?” he wrinkled his nose.. “it’s Quentin Quire, i was at your party! with Noh-Varr DJing, and like..” his shoulders dropped.  “you know me Billy.” he grunted, shoving hands in his pockets.

Laura was continuing her exploration of this so-called mutant heaven, she could see why they would want to make it their own nation, have a thing of their own, would it work? Was it for the best? In her opinion that depended pretty much on what they wanted to accomplish, to separate themselves further but have a place of their own? Sure, though most of the mutants would be gathered together in one single place… Acceptance? Not really, when did separation ever helped? She never cared much for politics but she knew of them, had to, to be able to carry her missions, she noticed someone approaching and nodded her head at them. “So what’s a good thing to do around here?”

“well if it isn’t my favorite murderbabe.” he grinned, setting aside whatever he had been planning to do earlier.  her question had a big grin peel across his sun-tanned face.  “I can think of a few things. buuuut I’ve been lounging, and maybe stealing from the humans to give to us poor, suffering mutants.” he slid a duffel bag from his shoulder and opened it up.  inside there was an obscene amount of jewelry and dozens of phones.  “Daken took his cut.” he shrugged and reached in to drag out a large gold chain, slipping it on.

Billy took it upon himself to tour around Krakoa while he was there. A part of him hoped he stumbled into something sinister on the island, something he could fight. He doubted he would find anything of the sorts. Hell, it was Professor X. He wouldn’t be starting a nation on the island if there were any underlying dangers to the potential citizens. 

As he took in his surroundings with a small smile, he accidentally bumped into someone. “Sorry about that,” he immediately apologized. Everyone on the island was a mutant and he didn’t want to anger the wrong one. He took a closer look at the man he bumped into and chuckled. “Why do you look familiar?”

Quentin scoffed, glancing up from his phone. no doubt planning another string of arson on the fly. not that he would admit to it. he glanced up to Billy after a moment and wrinkled his nose. “probably because I worked with your friends for a while... Kate and America?” he asked, fixing his far too expensive jacket sleeve.

“and they didn’t bother to even THANK me for all i’d done for them, never mind gracing them with my presence.” he glanced down to his phone again... “plus we met at the Halloween party.” he shrugged, tucking his phone into his pocket.

quick facts:

Any special abilities/skills? As he is a God of Stories, he has an undeniable ability to remake stories and edit them in his own way. he is capable of using magic to sway other people’s interests and coax them onto his side. he can create illusions of himself or magically manipulate scenarios. he has incredibly fast healing properties and is incredibly weight dense.

Human? Something else?: God Three positive traits (+): crafty, smart, secretive Three negative traits (-): sensitive, habitual liar, sneaky.

brief background: Unlike MCU Loki, this Loki adheres to comics canon primarily. he was reborn as a young child with a keen knack for getting into trouble and using magic fer better than anyone on Asgard has seen. he spent the vast majority of his younger years trying to correct his mistakes, but they tended to backfire on him and wound up getting New Asgard destroyed.  losing the respect of everyone he knew -save Thor- he found himself joining up with Young Avengers to try and help them right a mistake Billy Kaplan had made. after a brief period, Billy ended up ‘aging him up’ so that Loki could use his magic to it’s fullest, in an effort to make good on saving the world.   after this, he wandered for a while, mostly poking hi nose into other peoples stories, or doing his best to help out, but they never went too far.  then come to the all-mothers bringing loki in as their personal agent.. manipulating Loki into doing some unpleasant tasks, like capturing the essence of his former self and then releasing it to twist Loki’s attempts at being good, into nothing but evil. in defeating his former self, Loki then captured him, forgave him of his sins and resumed doing his best to resume his life of good. he took it upon himself to trick Dr Strange into letting Loki become the Sorcerer Supreme. it didn’t last too long however, as he was soon discovered, overpowered, and then forcibly removed from the position.  from there, he managed to steal the infinity stones, and send himself to a whole new universe where he was powerful... eventually getting himself killed.  he had a hand in starting the War of the Realms, causing a pandemic of frost giants to be released upon many worlds in a bid to take over and claim dominance, by Loki’s father, Laufey. Loki sacrificed himself to kill his father and seize control of the throne, bringing the frost giants home so they could no longer destroy or carry out his fathers wishes.  before long, he grew bored of his kingly duties, and started up a whole new story! venturing to the house of ideas... the place for each and every story. he tries to find one that doesn’t result him him becoming evil, or doing wrong, but is unable to find one, so... he decides to go out and make his own. 

questionnaire:

How has your character been maintaining his/her/themselves since the comeback of the decimated? Loki has spent their time in Jotunheim keeping watch over his kingdom... he only recently heard about the decimation, and makes an effort to help people get back on their feet... when he can.

If a mutant, what are your characters feelings about the human hesitation to accept the offer? 

Does your character have any ill-feelings or good thoughts about the Registration Act? Loki hates this idea in particular, but he doesn’t feel it’s his right to dictate what goes on in Midgardian worlds... 

Is your character willing to put his/her/themselves on the line again for the betterment of the world? depending on if he can gain something from it, ie; acceptance or worship... or just, someone legitimately caring for him. then he would make an effort.

Any special abilities/skills? he is an omega level telepath. incredibly strong, he can influence people telepathically, levitate, levitate things around him, disassemble things in an instant. he thinks incredibly fast and has definitely stolen your credit card and social insurance number by now, congratulations.

Human? Something else?: Mutant Three positive traits (+): quick thinker, very motivated, smart Three negative traits (-): stupid,(trust me, he is.) cocky and impulsive.

brief background: Quentin Quire was brought to Xaviers school once his parents discovered his mutation. he was aware of his powers enough that he had manipulated them for a time, even after being left at the school. his parents phoned him on his birthday, and informed him of him being adopted. he did not take this well. he ‘snapped’ and began riots at the school, even taking Charles Xavier hostage. he was neutralized after a time, and was dispersed into the collective consciousness of the world.  from there Quentin became bored of being the world, and returned to life with the intent of becoming the Phoenix Force’s host.  now whole, he managed to get on live TV, during a meeting between the X-men and the UN, and made each world leader reveal their most honest secrets to the world... obviously he quickly became the most hated mutant the world over.  after being forced to go through school under Wolverines tutoring, he graduated and joined the West Coast Avengers.  that didn’t last long, as soon as Krakoa was open to mutants, Quentin fled to be among his own kind, seemingly happy, now that he is on the X-force. 

questionnaire:

How has your character been maintaining his/her/themselves since the comeback of the decimated?  Quentin didn’t even know much of this was happening, but he certainly would have found amusement in it. 

If a mutant, what are your characters feelings about the human hesitation to accept the offer?  He feels they’ve been given their chance, and now that they’ve given themselves like this, he doesn’t really care for humans much, preferring to keep them as worshippers, or an excuse to express dominance over them. 

Does your character have any ill-feelings or good thoughts about the Registration Act? He doesn’t really care, as he thinks he’s far too powerful to worry about being registered... plus he’s very anti-government.

Is your character willing to put his/her/themselves on the line again for the betterment of the world? of his world maybe. but only if he cares about the people well enough.
