Erik sits and thinks. It’s been awhile since he’s been in the X-Mansion. Since the creation of Genosha and now Krakoa, he hasn’t found much use of the place. He’s only here now to get used to the atmosphere of Earth again. There’s a meeting coming up soon and Erik is thrilled to show the human the difference in them all. Especially himself. Don’t get him wrong he’ll never be team human, but he isn’t going to let their attitudes mess up their chances of having something of their own.
He slowly sips at his drink, as he watches the flames dance in the fire place and he almost doesn’t catch the looming presence at the door. “Come in.” He invites gently. “Have a seat.”
It had been long, really long, since Laura had set foot in the mansion, probably almost a decade, she had left because she went from. a weapon of the facility to a New X-men and that felt... better, but still pretty close to being a weapon, something someone aimed, pointed, and used, and she just wanted to figure herself out, become a person.
She had stopped by the kitchen first, of course, and had a variety of foods skewered through her claws, she liked this use better than all the others and was going around the rooms seeing who else was there.
She stopped outside a room and was about to turn around when she heard a voice invite her in, she knew who he was, of course, she did, when she had been in the mansion she had read the files on all the mutants and even if she didn’t have photographic memory she would know.
She walked in, and took a seat, taking what was left of the steak on her claw before retracting it. “Magneto,” she greeted.
